Hmm that would probably work, not sure how much damage it would do if it's not a FC though. I wonder if you could do an IAD j.214D->RC cross-up combo? So much to experiment with, so little time xD Also I love shenanigans lol

My favorite setup into 4B(2) is: 2A->2B->6B->IAD backwards->j.2DD->j.214D©->66->4B(2) The stuff can be changed in the front into pretty much anything that can be jump cancellable at the end, lol

Do you have a link to the original image? :O And yeah, you can pretty much substitute a 214A for a throw in most obvious tick throw setups if you think your opponent would be looking for a throw. Like 2A-2A->microdash->throw can be changed to 214A and I'm pretty sure it pushes people away so that it's hard to punish and it takes a primer. Also yeah you're right, it does clash with DPs sometimes depending on the timing, so if you can react to a clash and guard afterwards against certain characters that like to mash their DP (cough ragna) then you could get a free combo after it or something. >:3

Haha yeah it can beat out throws/mindless throw techs. I like going for obvious 236A->Throw setups and instead doing 236A->214A and get a free FC combo. Also Ached WHERE DID YOU GET THAT PIC IN YOUR AVATAR IT'S SO KYUT D:

I never said that the matchup was hard or anything, just named some reasons why the matchup data could have changed through the games lol

Overall I think the Tager matchup got worse for Lambda on the transition from CS2 to CSE for a number of reasons: -Lambda's corner carry via multiple midscreen Cavaliers in combos has been nerfed, so it's harder to get him to the corner for higher damage -Tager's normals got better, which makes it even harder to escape for Lambda when Tager gets in -Tager's meter gain got better, which means along with his combo damage buff he does a lot more damage than before when he hits you -Chargeable sledge makes 5D(CH)->Cavalier on reaction much more difficult, and allows Tager to close gaps easily if you aren't paying attention. just some thoughts

This matchup is fairly annoying, you have to be careful about your range if you try to throw anything out. If you commit to anything and you're not spaced right, you can expect Ignis to come flying at you and eat whatever it is you're trying to set up :c

I agree also. The only things that Lambda has that are better imo are oki options via the wheel and crescent feint mixup.

Alright well there wasn't a stream yesterday but I got to play a lot of Extend. Ignis is annoying and Hakumen isn't as hard to deal with as I thought he would be. Instant barrier rocks, btw.

Stuff->Cavalier->Wheel now works on non-CH depending on the combo, it seems. 3C CH (First couple hits cancel) into wheel looks like it works as well.
