Tao is debatable. Nu no, you need to play a good Nu to realise how fucking retarded she was, CT top tier were on a different level of broken. You simply could not get in the majority of the time and her normals (2c grrrr) were absolutely ridiculous. Couple that with very high damage output off of most hits, fast teleports, insane mobility and swords doing chip damage AND raising the guard libra amongst a plethora of other things and you had a character that would make CS1 Litchi cry for nerfs.

Lol, doesn't help that she's not even that hard to play either. I honestly didn't expect the Akihiko's though, he's pretty difficult. Are there many Yosukes around? He seems like a prime candidate for online mashing given his speed and ridiculous set of normals. Truth. I'm both happy and annoyed by this fact.

Nah, just picked her up alongside Yosuke. Playing her and Yosuke's story mode really changed my opinion about her. She's really fun to play as well which is a plus.

Lol same here. Duo Bios is the thing that actually makes him scary. ....the changes still suck though (especially the increased Ignis meter loss at neutral grrrrrr)

It's even funnier when you play a character with shitty normals and a few useless moves and you get the normal(s) nerfed and the useless moves made worse. And a seemingly useless new move added in too for good measure. Yeah, Arakune's ones seem pretty mean. At least you have a cool Astral now!

So how 'bout dem Relius ner- changes? Not too worried seeing as whole new game blah blah, but it's still funny to read them. It's like when I saw the Bang 'changes'

*looks at Relius changes* I'm not too worried about them at the moment though seeing as the game is being taken in an entirely new direction. But, the things that irk me the most is the fact that some of his more useless moves got even worse and that one of his new moves (the one I was most hype for no less) doesn't sound too hot either. It's not like a fair bit of our moveset was sub-par>useless in Extend anyway right?

Remember that trying to make it crazy siack without including his sunglasses/gunter is hopeless. You'll be wasting your tieeyiime!

The music to the Gwyn battle really took my breath away. It was just sad and melanchony, not the theme you were expecting going up against him. It truly brought together the sadness of Gwyn's situation. That battle was more of a stylised euthanasia than a duel.

Minato is Jesus. My favourite boss fight in Dark Souls is easily Four Kings, nothing can beat the atmosphere for that fight imo.

Yosuke is usually placed high because he has a very good set of normals on top of his dash speed and fast walkspeed, meaning that he has stong footsies. Jumping against him is a big nono seeing as his 2b is completely stupid, and on counter-hit it leads into good damage. His R-Action is amazing meaning that he also has good defensive options on top of his strong offensive game, his 5 frame 5a also helps with this too. His real mix-ups come in the form of his 'gliding' technique, a technique which causes him to fall very quickly while airdashing and still being able to block. IAD>glide after a JC normal leads into a nasty 3-way mix-up. He can either J.A for a fast overhead, wait for a frame or two longer for an incredibly quick empty jump>low with 2a or even empty jump>throw. He can also moonsault over you during IAD>glide though this is a little more obvious. Moreover, gliding also gives him a relatively safe and fast approach. His J.A has a hitbox behind him, meaning that when used with this 'gliding' it can hit on either side and on air CH it is very easy confirm into a full combo. He generally has a lot of tools in his arsenal to deal with a great number of situations. He's just really good.

Ugh tell me about it, got it on my fourth or fifth try. Trying manage your Estus use before actually getting to Super Ornstein was the hardest part.
