  1. That one damn walkway, good lord. I made sure to riposte him off for good measure. The Bed of Chaos was even worse.
  2. Good space control with 2b, nasty air normals (J.C), consistent above average damage output anywhere on the screen with 25 SP which leads into a nasty 50/50 back into the same mix-up (a vortex of sorts essentially), silly mix-up, great damage off of any random hits (ground or air) when she's in Orgia. To name but a few...
  3. I run Tetris at 1080p, get fucked.
  4. It's still not Aigis J.C-tier though. Fuck that normal so hard. Regardless it's awesome, his douchey little grin makes it even better :3
  5. One of the main things to know about Labrys is that she's free on the defense before she gets into awakening. Her fastest normals are 7 frames IIRC and her R-Action is quite frankly trash. I haven't managed to test this but you should be able to R-Action her R-Action if you confirm that you've hit the auto-guard. This is made even easier by the fact that the start-up gets slower the more you hit it. There's always the option of OMC>block>2C FC punish seeing as she cannot OMC it (she can still super cancel with 50 meter though, in awakening she can go straight into gears super to make it safe.) Labrys' normals do have very large hitboxes on them in general, but then again so do ours. Keep in mind ours are also a lot faster and our walk and dash speed far outclasses hers meaning that we have a leg up in the footsies war as well. Unfortunately, her 2b is pretty darn good and leads into good damage so be wary of jumping in recklessly, that being said it has massive recovery on whiff so baiting it will let you punish it. Labrys is also a very momentum based character and once she hits red axe you will most probably die off the next hit. Luckily for us though, stopping that momentum really dents her gameplan seeing as it forces her to lose axe levels and her bad defense doesn't do her any favours. IB>5a or even IB>R-Actioning out of her pressure to shift momentum to you can really hurt Labrys. I'll add some more to this post once I actually fight a good Labrys.
  6. On the topic of J.C, that normal is simply amazing. I was watching JP matches and realised that they throw it out quite a bit at neutral. I've started to incorporate it a lot more into my own game now and it seems to working just brilliantly.
  7. Though I myself haven't practiced much Sukukaja as I don't actually have the game (loleurope), I assume this is done due to the fact that the combo may be so highly prorated that the opponent will tech out super early after the Kunai hit, resulting in very little damage and worse frame advantage after they tech. The airdash resets the situation to neutral where Yosuke excels, and he will also be able to J.D at a lower point during the fall to better dictate the opponent's options after they air tech.
  8. Yes. Yes it is. She also lacks ribs.
  9. Yeah, Blighttown really hurt my eyes, the combination of massive slowdown and general brown shit was not nice :x Still super hyped for the DLC though. No problem dude! I'm still blown away by 70 people coming to AH just to play it for evening, really shows just how hype we all are for it.
  10. The key in the Elizabeth match-up is patience. Her lazers which she will be zoning you with have 3 different versions and it's important to be able to distinguish between them. The A version comes out the fastest but is very unsafe on block and depending on the distance you will either be able to dash up and punish or get a free way in. The B version starts up slowly but is + on block and the same goes for the EX version. You can EX dash spring through all of them too for a free combo if the Liz gets too comfortable using them. When you get closer, one of the harder things to deal with in this match-up is her j.B, this move is incredibly annoying as it is active forever, has no landing recovery and has a hitbox behind her too. the large horizontal, disjointed hitbox also makes it very difficult to anti-air if she is not directly above you and you can forget about air to airing it. Luckily for us though, it is possible to R-action it on reaction and trip her as she falls into Yosuke's foot. Another key thing to remember when approaching this match-up is trying to bait her 5b. This is another annoying move but it is easily punishable if the Liz likes simply throwing it out. On whiff it has horrible recovery which means a free big damage punish for you (and with Liz's low life it's extra painful). For me, a lot of the match is hovering just outside her 5b range so that if she hits a button she'll get punished for free. Keep in mind though that if it even touches you once it can be made safe by cancelling into 5c > blockstring. On the topic of Thanatos blockstrings, a lot of people think this is far scarier than it really is. Rather than trying to react to the command grab/2c after 5c, instead just hold up-back straight away and you will block the 2c or jump straight over the 5d meaning that you get to break a card for free. As you know Liz without Thanatos is free, so Persona breaking her is pretty key too. Her R-Action can be very frustrating at first but, like always, our godlike R-Action beats it clean. Whenever you see her use her R-Action for whatever reason, just hit B+D and get a free knockdown+500 damage. It's as easy as that. This also means that keeping her blocking is a much easier task, seeing as her guard cancel is absolute trash. I feel that this match-up is in our favour, it's awkward at first but playing with patience makes it ten times easier. Just don't get hit, she does shit-tons of damage. On the other hand, her low life actually makes our damage output look decent!
  11. Dude this thread is all about off-topic. No need to apologise
  12. Yes I do.
  13. I am so super tsun for Labrys and i'm not ashamed to admit it.
  14. Labrys combos are the coolest. Two relaunches in one combo, hnnnnngggggg.
  15. Woopsie, dates are my eternal bane. But yeah, ask Doyin for super fun P4U times.
  16. I just prefer Labrys in general really. I'll be back on the 2nd of September, but Doyin will be back this Sunday. Problem brah? :3
  17. Labrys is far better than her shadow counterpart. Yosuke is super fun believe me. It's really fun being able to play this game whenever, kinda wish you were here. :3
  18. Obviously Yosuke is my main, I wouldn't think of ever not focussing on him. I am actually thinking about either dropping Aki or moving him down to sub status due to how much I love Labrys. But the problem is that Akihiko is also one of my favourite Persona characters and his playstyle fits me perfectly. At the moment it's Yosuke/Labrys. If you ever do anything with Yosuke i'll be glad to help, especially with gliding.
  19. They'll most likely do what they did for BBCS and change the release date when it gets close to the 31st. By the way Jordan, are you pretty much set on Chie? I hope you learned a bit at AH and had fun. Just so you know, both Doyin and I watched your match against the Kanji and can I just say that you can duck his air dive command grab :3
  20. Post up videos of yourself playing and we'll provide helpful critiques on how to improve as a Yosuke player.
  21. Can you use this combo anywhere on the screen or is it specific to midscreen/corner?
  22. Usually around 15-20, so this was biiiig.
  23. It was nice to hope man, it was nice to hope.
  24. I really try my damndest to support Zen, I really do. But, ugh. I've stuck with them through all the BB delays and backed them up because they really try hard to bring all these games to Europe. The guys working there are legitimately really nice guys and they take a lot of shtick from people who don't realise how hard they try. They are literally going to sell no copies because of TTT2 being released beforehand, P4U will be forgotten. If it had released next week like it was rumoured, it was have sold really well, the hype is there, I mean 70 odd people at Astral Heat just to play P4U is incredible and really showed how hype we all are for this game. I'm just worried that it'll all go away after this, we don't even have a solid release estimation month. How ironic, Atlus region locks this game 'protect sales' but they'll probably end up losing money over this.
  25. It was all Hex's idea I swear But have no fear, it is being kept in the most perfect of conditions and handled in the safest way. Thanks dude, you better still be playing Yosuke, all this Chie talk is making me nervous
