Carl mirrors are fun, it's almost like playing a fighting game Me, CrazyApe, Akira-Shiro and Ivysaur will all be at EVO Crazyape and Shiro should make it out of their pools (Kogatan is fighting Shiro first round but he'll probably beat everyone else in his pool). Ivysaur and I have more difficult pools (Kinji's in my pool lolllllll) so there's a chance we could drown in them. I believe we can both make it out though!

1.1 combos are identical to 1.0 so the UB setups still work. Try pushing Ada into the opponent as you're doing the airdash string into j.2C. It's pretty much a must against characters with skinny hurtboxes such as Tsubaki and Litchi.

Nice find Shiro. The teleport escape is definitely not easy but it could be a real lifesaver. Something odd actually happened during one of my attempts: I was trying to do the teleport method and did delayed quick rise instead of delayed neutral tech and ODed immediately after the tech. Most of the time, I got OD but during one of my attempts, I somehow got a wakeup green burst, which bursted Koko out of the black hole. I tried to replicate this in training mode but couldn't get it a second time.

Vivace only works against regular blackhole. OD blackhole suction is much stronger and will prevent Carl from getting out of the corner.

It would depend on whether or not we can get a ride going. I would definitely like to go though.

Yeah, we can't do anything against OD blackhole which sucks :< Gear doesn't have 1f invul anymore so it won't work against a meaty blackhole. I haven't tried punch super but since it doesn't have 1f invul and the super doesn't come out until a few frames or so, I assume it won't work either.

Hi Ottawa UMAD people, I left my TV/monitor thing at Dev's place months ago. Any chance you guys could bring it with you to UMAD so I can pick it up from there (trunk room permitting ofc)?

While it's possible to do summon combos off any ground starter, the main issue with summon combos is that you have to summon Ada ASAP during your ground string so she can recover in time to follow up the cantabile. Most Carl players usually do this too late so they can only end w/a cantabile knockdown + oki. I assume you're talking about Carl's kara glide? It's been removed in CSEX and CP, although you can do a similar fast fall if you airdash + activate OD. Could you show me the CP videos where Carl does this airdash cancel? I might be able to explain better if I watch it.
