I thought the difficult reversal windows were for beginners rather than to their detriment. I think it just is not the beginner on defense that's getting the good part. It makes it so two begginer players wouldn't have to learn all the reversal safe oki and still have a reasonable chance of getting an offense going.

The lack of lessons surprised me too actually, they have missions about fighting AGAINST characters for some reason, but nothing about playing them which is kinda backwards to me.

In this case, Sol clearly wins. Ragna has to use seither to fuel his magic, Magic in GG is an infinite source of free energy. not to mention Ars Armagus are explicitly inferior to magic.

Huh? The game does tell you how to do Green Daruo it has in (press 3 and P at the same time) next to the move which is about as simple as you can make it. Also I find the zero indication not to be much of an issue since that's like complaining the game doesn't tell us the difference between HS and S VVs or VTs. I mean you can see that one version of VV goes higher but that doesn't tell you much else and if you mention that Green Daruo is...well green so you know there is SOME difference.

I know it's been mentioned before, but can't Sol protect his soul as of GG2?

I thought they said Hazama and Mu's Azure Grimoirs were real though so there's that..
-
Why do people keep saying Ragna has an Azure Grimoire, it was confirmed fake in CS wasn't it? He has sometihng everyone THOUGHT was an Azure Grimoire, or did I miss something?
-
Sol's Soul is protected in GG2 so I think he'd be resiliant to Soul Eater IIRC, I mean he even fights with his soul as a giant "Master Ghost" outside of his body.

Correction: GROUND bridal express is -5 AIR bridal express is +9 on the first active frame. With air bridal express the best options are to get out of the way or punish the start up IMO.

There's a thread for this already. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1648-the-picking-a-main-thread/ Just saying. Also a Jin has balanced options IMO...or at least he did. I haven't played BB in a while.

Even with GGPO there are night and day differences in online and offline. Trust me, I've actually had smoother games on XrD than I've had with Skullgirls which uses GGPO (though I played wireless back then so that's probably the reason.)

Speaking of Gameplay, I don't think I ever got an answer to my question about 1 frame jump, is it still in and does it now make a dust cloud pop up? -

Actually this right her makes me tinhk that rather than "guilty gear" you like bridget. Nothing in there says much about actually likeing the game beyond claiming you do on the first sentance. I'm not trying to say say "what a waifufag" or anything, but rather I'm trying to clarify what makes people think you don't like guilty gear. You haven't pointed to anytihng you like EXCEPT Bridget, -

I'm wondering how Paradigm would play in a 2d fighter, I'd like to see it myself. -
It could be that Justice really didn't look like Mecha Justice until she was revived in GG1. Though, IIRC Kliff and I think Order Sol fight Justice in their AC+ story modes which are set in the past...maybe Mecha Justice is just from a different timeline.

Parry Loop wasn't removed until CSII.

I'm not sure if it's just me not doing it right or if the graphical cue has changed, but can you 1 frame jump in this game? I do it how I used to in AC but I keep getting the dust cloud which I didn't used to get 1 frame jumping. -

I'm surprised by the lack of Ramlethals, I'm the only one I've seen (though I only do player match) -

it might just be that it's risky. -

I think Leo's gonna end up doing Leo things (most correct prediction). In all seriousness I've seen Leo compared to like 16 different characters and really I didn't think any comparison was a good fit. I do think Leo looks pretty fun, but I don't think I'll main him. One thing to note is that, while it might just be cause I wasn't the one trying to block it, his overhead looks really slow and has an easy to see start-up (not sure if that's a normal or a follow-up to his cross up thing). Also didn't the turtorial say he could be thrown out of that cross-up thing? -

I'm disappointed by the lack of library mode. I really wish we'd gotten it, but we already knew ArcSys doesn't seem to care too much about people outside Japan. Then again, not translating library mode might be why it's being released so soon after the Japanese release and if that's the case, I don't know what to feel. -

Ya know, normally I'd discuss this, but it's already been said several times we shouldn't be discussing character designs.
