Too many Mu players. I think im going to go main Arakune or Carl. honestly though, start with Mu however you want. I starter off mashing 6C praying for a FC and spamming j.C. ....I still do it now, to be honest, But I can tell if it's going to hit or not. I can't help getting all warm and fuzzy when I hear "FAYTAL!" I'm just like "Bitch gimme that 7K"

If you burst in the Tager matchup you're just playing it wrong. Harsh but true. You can keep him out for days if you have semi decent reactions. I've not got Extend yet so I don't know if the 2C nerf makes this matchup harder, But I can't see it being too difficult. Watch for Sledge, Spark bolt and any moves with Magnetism properties. Get some spacing down and plan ahead. If you master all of that Tager players are the least of your worries.

Laura genuinely was the best, though. There is no contest. Regarding 6C, Cancelling it into xD > 7IAD is the best option overall imo. But with this you have to factor in distance, matchup ect. It's not that difficult but it will save you a lot of times if you remember it. For example, I'd never cancel my 6C into 236A against Hakumen or Tager, Because if they do it fast enough, they can give 0 fucks about the projectile and get a 100% free CH combo on you (And against Hakumen that makes a huge, huge difference) But against a character such as Valkenhayn, I'd consider it pretty safe to cancel into 236A because he has no solid was of avoiding it, But at the same time I wouldn't cancel into xD because I want to keep momentum and keep the pressure on him. You could say we are lucky to have so many options on hit and block, It's versatile and can setup some pretty interesting scenarios for you. For example if you use 6D after a blocked 6C, You have a Stein waiting for you if you land a hit, or manage to keep them blocking long enough that they end up on the Stein. (This bit isn't solid info, Just a bit of rambling) Basically, Take into account the distance and the matchup.

So many new Mu players! God damn this genuinely makes me happy. I love these boards, More people the better. Best Pointers: 1) Learn the Matchups. Knowing them all will make your Mu experience a lot sweeter. 2) Pochps above posts 3) Knockdown as much as possible. Oki is your best friend. 4) Get creative. Mu is still fairly "Unknown" Compared to the rest of the cast (Bar Relius) People still haven't discovered everything. 5) Spam the shit out of raw 6C and pray for a fatal

Hmm. Forgive the heretic but I just think the game is going to feel pretty damn dated. I'll buy it, of course I will. But I don't think I'll enjoy it as much as the nostalgia days. I just hope I enjoy playing Potemkin online as much as I think I will. *HEAVENLYYYYYYYYY*

Seriously though I've played Mu for roughly 6 Months now, and the power of her normals is stunning. I can't even complain about the 2C nerf when we still have 5C, 2B, 5B, j.C, j.B and 6A. Far too good. I would put 6C, But that's high risk high reward. Missing 6C = Full Counter / Fatal Counter combo Hitting 6CFC = The Round

5C is so dumb. This Tager i play was raging so hard, it just beats so much shit it makes me laugh everytime.

I found that 2B can beat a LOT of Litchi's move when she doesn't have the staff. Id she fires off 5D and it's flying around, just fly at her. her 5B is really good but I think 2B has better range. It's retarded if the litchi player can effectively use 5D to zone you in though, I don't have a real answer to it other than block until you find a gap in a string to mash Origins. Biggest tip I could give anyone struggling with this matchup is to keep momentum, keep pressure on, keeping doing shit if It's safe and keep a passive aggressive zoning stance on her, She needs a fair amount of time to do shit, so just make sure she cant. 5D > 2D 4D > 6D 2D > j.6D All work pretty well for me here.
