  1. Just saw this for the first time now. I'm not sure whether to laugh like I am, cry, or just scratch my head in confusion, lol.
  2. Wow, I uh...feel like an idiot for not knowing a bunch of her moves were BB or CC or whatnot like. Though, I guess it explains a lot about her combos and stuff. Hm...the fundamental bits of Install affecting things and the BB/CC types in attacks almost sounds like mixing and matching different parts of Noel and Lambda (though obviously not and at close range instead of far) without well, getting Mu, lol.
  3. Well, I figure this is the right place to ask, but as a Noel main with a seemingly revolving door of secondaries trying to find one that matches (seriously, I've already tried Litchi, Ragna, Jin, Hakumen, Taokaka, Hazama, and am pretty sure Carl/Tager aren't for me), I've decided to try my hand with Tsubaki (and Arakune too). So the obvious basic questions are how hard is she to learn, any advice on getting started, and what are the most important things to remember? Just well, to get me started.
  4. I think this is the right place to ask, but in my seemingly revolving door of secondaries, I've decided to curiously try my hand with Arakune (and Tsubaki). So I guess my first question would be, well...generally how hard is he to pick up, aside from being pretty different from a traditional character, and what the most important things to remember when playing him are?
  5. Cool, good to know the stuff got saved. Looking forward to it being available on his channel.
  6. First off, LOL at Linear, since that nickname to my nickname has been used for a while now, actually. And yeah, I have a tendency to get quite angry, ESPECIALLY in Uncharted 2 online. But, I was actually doing one ranked match on CS2 against a Hakumen and well...let's just say I forgot the mic is still on for that.
  7. I'm late with these but hey, better late than never. Shoutouts to: Kaeru for keeping up the tradition for bodying me with your awesome Bang and as always being helpful with advice and being chill all-around. Brice for offering to help me out with the bunking situation, repping Tager, and a ton of other stuff. Nini for having a badass Makoto despite only semi-playing the game and getting 4th even with my crappy controller. And for being hilarious. Kirbster for winning T12 and repping Montreal and Rachels. Even through just the GO events I could see a ton of improvement and your drive to get better. You deserved it, man. Oh, and for not getting upset when you having short hair made me briefly think you were someone else after a night of 4 hours of sleep. pochp for being the sane in a room of crazy. And for agreeing to do commentary. Montreal in general for like, essentially "unofficially adopting me" in the BB tourney. Luke for showing a different side of Mu and having a beastly Urien in 3rd Strike. FreezerB for being a freaking life saver and making me even getting down there possible. Roldy for carrying my sorry ass in Blazblue teams. NeoRussell for not only making this possible, but for the whole pre-reg thing. Level6 for making me remember why I simultaneously like AND hate Tsubaki, and for leveling up. Mortified for making me respect the 720 and leading me to go and experiment with a ton more anti-Tager tactics. Leo for taking good care of my stick when I wasn't using it. Fugu for keeping calm and being nice when I flipped out and got salty over your Litchi being too good in casuals. Also, shout outs to everyone involved in the tournament, having an absolute blast, all of the epic matches, and Ottawa for repping us well, and making me feel like 'one of the guys'.
  8. Thanks for the stuff and helping me out with things, to you Montreal guys. Was awesome to see you guys make top 4. Almost made me feel "unofficially Montreal" for a day, lol. And awesome job winning T12, Kirby. You deserve it man, and even though I've only played a few tournaments with you, I still feel like you've come a long way, man.
  9. I don't think you have to worry about Montreal representing you guys well Bibi. And I wouldn't worry about there being 2 Kirbsters, Lythium. I know there's a couple of people who well, have doubles, lol.
  10. Watch out Kirbster, it's a trap!
  11. Pochp, I PM'd you a list of stuff with like hotel and rate info if you guys are still looking for spots and stuff. Everything should be around 1km from the T12 tourney. Get back to me on it when you can, or hit me up on MSN or AIM. I should be on most of the day still looking for more. Edit: Also, if any of the Montreal guys that are coming down tomorrow for it, want the info and stuff, just let me know and I'll PM it to you too, or contact you on IM or something.
  12. Well, I'm coming in with Johnny aka FreezerB, and he's leaving Ottawa at around 5 or something I think. So, I'd probably get to TO at around 11 or something, and at that point I don't think there'd be any plans set since he'd just go to his folks for the night and can likely just drop me off wherever.
  13. Cool, since those are actually the nights I'm going to be there for. If you want, I can even get you guys some figures or something and PM them to one of you or IM if any of you have that.
  14. Hey, just thought I'd ask if any of you guys that are going to T12 would want to go in on a place to crash for the tourney or have any open spots in any places? I don't know, it's just I found out I've got a ride there and back, but no place to crash so well, if any of you guys have anything, just let me know how much to pitch in and where or whatever and I can get back to you. Thanks a ton.
  15. That sucks Bibi, but hey, work on that Makoto and I'll hopefully see you next GO event if nothing else.
  16. Kr3wman bringing the de-hype, lol.
  17. Yo Montreal. Just wondering if I'll be seeing any of you guys at T12 next weekend or not? Just wouldn't be the same without some of you guys reppin'.
  18. Haha, yeah. I can see if Nini/Brice/Kaeru and the gang feel generous.
  19. So uh...bit random and late I know, but anyone from either Ottawa or driving through the Ottawa area en route going have space in their car? Been tryin' to get stuff sorted for over a month now, lol.
  20. Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. And well, I hadn't even thought of the emergency tech thing, lol.
  21. Yeah...I guess. Practice really IS the only way to get stuff down.
  22. Well, yeah, but I just never noticed the Heat difference before and figured it was just easier to do 2B>6C>236A>6C>j.D instead. And plus, whenever I 22B in a combo and have the 22BBC part, I just go 22BBC instead of 22B>22BBBC because I ALWAYS mess up on the second bit or take too long with it, or drop it or something. Which is stupid because it doesn't even seem hard and it's not like I'm trying to throw in 5 reps of 66C>22B>66C either.
  23. Since this IS the combo thread, and I figured mentioning something that was suggested in the self-critique thread would be off topic if not here, I've got to thinking. In terms of meter gain, is it ever a decent idea to change up the 214A>2B>6C>236A part of a combo to something like 214A>2B>6C>22BBC>66C, or something like that? I'm just curious. And well, keep in mind I'll probably never get the CS2 Haida down until like...the day before CSX comes out, lol.
  24. Haha, will do Kage. Will do.
  25. Yeah, you've probably got a good point about netplay. I'm sure keeping an open mind helps a ton. If nothing else, it's half decent for learning to gauge what the general habits of people that play a certain character are.
