the corner pin is somewhat easy, unfortunately =( sicfi pulled it off on me on our first day playing, then again, he's an eddie vet. there are even some aras who dont even know proper combos, who sometimes get a win off me - it's quite depressing. curse is so strong, even in the hands of a noob.

haven't mentioned this yet, but Jin can be hit by a point blank 6C if he stands. this is only really useful in very few situations, eg. after a standing guard crush, or after a j.4C when you are sure it will hit. i'll probably save it for my combovid, if i should ever make one ^^ -

added the 100% heat after 623C combo to the BnB section, thx. the air backdash helps a lot. -
something i remembered when watching your vid vs. the arakune, 10stars: - when you are semi-corner pinned (semi = the arakune can't do it perfectly), wait for the spit move (arakunes 6D i think), then super on reaction if there is a gap at all. i was able to 2/2 times yesterday when i tried it. of course, if the ara is perfect in his pin, i guess you are screwed ^^

what is act pulsar, how are we supposed to know? hell i don't even know some of the names for bangs moves.

match opener: d.j.A or j.A if you suspect he will jump right away. pressue from there - more j.A, j.B, j.C, land before him, or go into j.623C and so on. in general, j.A is quite vital (as long as you don't jump right into an arakune that's about to summon a cloud...)

a display of why random matchmaking sucks as opposed to contacting people elsewhere and setting up matches ^^ but yeah, for some reason the ukemi is so weird to some people that i've even seen players who are good in other games mash attacks after quick recovery, it's equally funny and sad. -
yeah, if i get a corner knockdown and expect a lariat super, i usually jump back at the last moment, then j.236C shuri. if it hits late, it will web him out of the super.

well i thought it goes without saying that it should be RCed, otherwise its absolutely not worth it, so many better okizeme options -
i often eat a spin cycle when i want to j.4C over tager- the hit will clash, then the super will hit you, so don't go for a j.4C if he has 50% and trigger happy.

oh, since it hasn't been mentioned yet: i think 3C is quite good in this matchup, once you attacked a couple of times with jump, shuri, late airdash, and airdash in general. max range 3C, of course. also nice to catch tager out of the air from far away, but it depends on the specific situation - sometimes his late j.B can beat the slide.

i agree, it's also a safe alternative to 5C if you want to attack a tager that's waking up. -

why should there be region blocks? region blocks suck ass for people who live outside of the US (=who don't have a gigantic player pool). i hate idiots who join with blue ping from japan when i call my game "europe only", but i very much prefer this over being locked out playing certain people, or even observing their games. -

you can just throw, j.236C shuriken before the dropkick, land, into some combo into super, needs much less tension, but the damage sucks. i guess it also sucks for the 100% combo, so, whatever. -

that's a pretty nice idea, 6D as a first hit in FRKZ is quite deadly. -> dash cancel 5D, j.D, j.D, 2B,6C, j.B, j.D, 2C -> brutal damage. -

new find guys: after 6B RC you can cram in a j.D against rachel and probably tager and hakumen. i thought about the 6D, j.D combos agains those 3 and that got me thinking. now we gotta find nice variations. rachel: 6B RC, j.D, \/, 2B,623B, d.2B,6C, j.C -> 3632 damage. -

the combo vs. ragna & haku is: 5C,2C,2D, j.D,j.2369C, \/,2D, sj.C -> 2696 damage, 3 seals, 1 shuri. tiny little bit more damage than 5D, and it feels easier (at least for me). -

5C,2C,2D,j.D is really nice. i started a char specific list a while ago, i forgot about it ^^ tagerm corner: 5C,2C,2D,j.D,j.2369C,\/,5C,5D,sj.C: 2884 damage, 3 seals against ragna: 2D instead of 5D at the end tao, noel: doesnt work at all v-13, arakune, bang: no 3-seal, but you can do 2B,6C,sj.B,j.C air combo after j.D. carl: no 3-seal, no j.B -

let's assume you are blocking a rush, and try to sneak in a 5D - if you miss the 5D entirely (too early), then input BC, you might eat a counter hit. If you input 5D, 1+A+B+C you make double sure that nothing bad happens. btw: using this method, i often get accidental A Teleport - button priority seems to be A-B-C-D. if you press ABC exactly at the same time, A teleport will come out. slide input is possible - input C~B or B~C, however, this will not trigger barrier if you add an "A" to the second input - if you do that, a throw will come out instead of barrier. so you have to use the B~C or C~B input during the recovery of a drive. -

yeah. it's especially hard online, where there's no static input lag, only dynamic. -
sort of. you can input a throw break if you expect a throw, but it has to be 11F within the timeframe, of course. i always input a throw break when the super gets blocked, but most people know and will punish you with normal hits.
