From what I could tell, he tosses himself into a Cauldron near the end. Can't explain why or anything. Also, on the note of character deaths, I managed to "lose" to Es with Makoto during story mode (feel free to pelt the scrub with tomatoes), and in the following scene, she appears to have died. Or at least faded away into nothing. But despite that, the story continued on just fine, although with Noel and Tsubaki feeling her death. Does this happen if you win the fight? I thought it was just how the story went, but considering the fact that no one else seems to have brought up her dying/disappearing, I'm wondering if maybe it's an alternate route of sorts.

Tsubaki, I love you, but no. Bad Tsubaki. At least she seems to question what she's doing afterwards, though. A step in the right direction. -

Loving the changes overall, but I have to wonder: are 5A and 2A VS starters now? I can't seem to do any sort of full combo off of them beyond like 5A > 5BB > 5CC > 236B/C > 214B > 22.

The Hakumen thing isn't true; a friend of mine posted a false translation on Gamefaqs of what Konan was saying to troll me. The same "translation" also claimed that the Storm Eagle theme would play when she used j.214X.
