  4. If you want to optimize OD combos don't OD after 6C! Also, only do 236C..~B -> JC7, etc., when you are going for double hexaedge.

  6. Crazy how when Ragna wants to combo off his overhead meterless he can roll his face, but Tao has to do a dumb input. They honestly could have just made it so that 6B, 5B combos on hit/crouching.
  7. GG's to the people I have played. BBCP netcode is so sketchy that I have to honestly limit myself to only 3 and 4 bar connections. Really doesn't help that everyone in my proximity pretty much plays Jin...
  8. Depends on who you are playing against. The problem is getting people to stand up and NOT mash. Also, if you try this on someone with a 2C anti air just know that they have no reason to stand and they will ass rape your health.
  9. I realized that I never actually answered this question lol. I've come to the conclusion that 5D-A (SMP) slide oki is just terrible and shouldn't even be done at all! In my discovery, I've found something completely universal that not only yields more benefit, but covers up all the weaknesses of 5D-A (SMP). Unfortunately it is very reaction based, and not only that, but its hard for me to put into words because its something you have to see. As of now it is still in the testing phase so I need more time to make sure I cover all the bases. If I had to rank the oki options with everything I know now it would be; 1) Gio oki 2)Encore 3)5D-A (SMP slide) 4) So help you God if you uses taunt...
  10. I can play both days and I can commentate, but can we please region lock this for the benefit of the world. CP netplay isn't the best thing in the world for people in the same state and I can't imagine it getting better for coast to coast.
  11. Time isn't the problem. The problem is that the opponent has to be high enough for you to be able to do the j.236B route. You most definitely can use it on any air to ground ender, but you will be losing out on damage and it yields no benefit. Also that CH 6A should only be used for corner to corner. You lose 100 damage looping the j.236b again because it makes the combo take too much time. The only thing you can loop is j.236bB route and J.d, 5C, j.d...this is assuming you have a good stater. The only time you should loop anything is if you are doing corner to corner and I'm talking back to the corner type stuff. Even then you are better off side switching (assuming you aren't going for the time up of course).

  14. If your j.c combo doesn't hit 4K meterless, with no encore, please optimize and try again. Thankfully you are almost there! I would post what you are missing, but when you figure it out you are going to all have the reaction of, "why didn't I try X in the first place?". It's funny because the answer is simple for those that don't know it already =3 As for the next set of things we should start working on I'll list them in order of importance; 1) We need an optimized combo off of ground starters for Rachel's fat ass. These should also have room to add CT and air super if either option is available. (I really don't have anything special and I'm sure there is something better out there) 2) Would someone be so kind as to figure out the timing for the Rachel specific standing hit confirm? (5B, 5C, rising, j.B, j.C, land, etc.) 3) Anything special for Tager/Hakumen? Could someone do a quick check on them and see if they can discover something new. They are a little on the fat side so I'm hoping for some results. 4) It is about time everyone moves on the CH confirms and look to optimize those. As of now I have a few, but I'm still in the process of testing other options. 5) Finally, if someone would be so kind as to briefly explain the timing for 6B, j.236B, 5B link. Essentially you are using j.236B to eliminate the 2 frames of landing recovery from 6B in order to combo 5B meterless on all characters. I can't really explain the timing besides it being one of those things you either know how to do or you can't do it at all. Hoping someone could help shed some light on players looking to learn this useful combo route in the not so distant future.

  20. Doesn't work because they added more recovery to pounce super. She stays stuck in the thrown animation for much longer. Also 22C isn't bad, but 236A does more damage.

  22. From what I gathered the whole add 2000 more damage was a misunderstanding. The challenge mode has a combo in which 6B->Cat2 (whiff)->5B is used and apparently this route was never thought of until now or something (dumb people). Guessing that they took the challenge mode combo off of 6B and made it better. Probably due to the way the combo looks they probably made an attempt to incorporate the unique aspect of this combo to all her bnb's, but to no avail (hence why you don't find it anywhere). Outside of 2C there isn't much to be explored with her (combo wise) unless a funky hit box thing is discovered. At best I can probably increase her average damage by a 200-300 by just optimizing the confirm, and if I am lucky, swap out a component with something better for a bit more damage to that, but this is very unlikely.

Fighting game players+Psychology+1 or 2 academic titles+ some random University= heads spinning in amazement. 9.5k health, no DP, terrible reversal super, new breed of shit CA, and still I watch t.v. when I play. Trust me Star you are over-complicating things and are just putting an excess amount of effort on basic shit. To add to that list of ways to have better focus: -Don't be super high -Be sober -Eat food! Like real food, not noodles and shit -Take showers
