  1. Anak's much needed buff. Edit: Mightymar approves.
  2. Head ride does a lot more sure this is some gimmick stuff, but should be noted.
  3. The Miguel one reminds me of a Steven Segal movie.
  4. I hope it is SFxT netcode. The worst thing that can happen is they don't change the netcode at all(which would make cry and laugh at the same time). They need to fix the life bars also.
  5. MvC3 and AE netcode are the same thing it's just the input lag is more noticeable in umvc3(it is a faster game). If you're talking about the online features those are great but the core is still the same. I say it all the time straight up input lag is horrible netcode. If you guys are happy with the netcode good luck trying to tech grabs, which are actually one frame instead of the two in that video.
  6. I remember talking to pasky about the pc version of sfxt. Even though the on disc dlc isn't part of the pc version with just a simple edit on the ripped console files can get them to work.
  7. 2012.08.01 闘劇2012!ステージ出展決定!8/5 15:40~ Jojo's HD is being shown off at SBO this year. Besides the site opening up this is Japan's first announcement and showing of the game. Edit: As for the filter it is a normal hqx filter with a shader on it to add if those sketch lines if the brightness of the color go under a certain value.
  8. The only thing that saddens me even though people have access to the dev menu nobody has written down any frame data.
  9. With numbers that close they're the same. Also, I hardly trust what the HUD shows, unless they're the developer tools. The memory shows the life at value of 17664 in decimal.
  10. A write up I made before that video came out but goes into more mechanics of Jojo's. First in line of mechanics is the Tandem as it is the main mechanic behind Jojo's the main feature like Alpha/Zero 1 was Alpha/Zero counters. Only Characters with Stand Gauge have access to it. One thing i'm going to say first there is two types of Tandem remote tandem and (I have no clue what this one is called) Alpha 2 Tandem. First is the Remote Tandem you input you commands during the frozen period the Stand will do what you inputted(think of it like a programmable robot). the one I called A2 Tandem acts a lot like the A2 custom combo with out the Valle Blowback unblockable. Second is boring ass mechanics everyone has(well not boring). Guard Cancels, They work exactly like they do in Vampire Savior (Dp+attack while in blockstun). Push Block, another mechanic you do while in blockstun this one is done by pushing the 3 attack buttons. Air Tech this is done by pushing the 3 attack buttons while in the air after being attacked. Rolls you heard me right Rolls like in kof but unlike to do a roll in this game you guess right hit all 3 attack buttons while on the ground. Third is the Learning system this mechanic is only for 3 characters, but it should be noted cause you'll be going against these 3 characters. The characters that have this mechanic are the holders of the Anubis(Khan, Anubis Polnareff, and Chaka). This mechanic allows you to auto parry(they still have to block) learned attacks. for them to learn an attack they have to successfully land a counter special(don't worry there is an indication when they learned a move and they can't learn all of them). But you still worry if an attack has the same animation it will still count as the learned move. Fourth is the other Stand mechanics so this paragraph is about characters that have a stand meter. there is the Stand Attack this done by doing a qcf+S this also cancels normals and puts you in Stand on mode(non stand bar users can cancel there attacks into S attacks also just thier S button is basically another attack). Second is more of glitch than a mechanic if you turn off your stand mid air and do a tandem(has to be a remote stand user) your stand will chain differently. Now for the little things you can do there is a ground tech in the game hell some characters can cancel the tech into a special. An example of this would be Iggy canceling the ground tech into teleport, but it only works on certain specials(as this was actually intended to be in the game). Canceling into roll this is a one frame window after you hit a normal it would cancel into a roll. Attacking before the final round starts the thing about this glitch you'll hardly get a chance to use it and you have to be using a character with a stand meter. To do this you either activate/deactivate your stand and then attack you opponent can block during this time.
  11. Pyron created Phobos on Phobos. If you want to know where that huge ass crater came from.
  12. Phobos is even more complex fyi. Especially trying to do the Savior Arrange/2 version of him.
  13. It's sad, I love me some Jojo's I remember the first time I played FlithieRich(yes the tekken community manager) in it on GGPO. It was fucking crazy. Also the time I figured out how I can attack before the final round started. Getting to the dev menu for the first time I didn't even make a savestate to it. Ah such good memories.
  14. Phobos Dark Force/Transformation infinite in Vampire Savior Arrange, Vampire Chronicle(on Savior or Savior 2), Vampire Savior 2, Vampire Hunter 2 Fly low mash lp like there is no tomorrow, i'm not joking.
  15. Hell you can use the same port as long it isn't on the same computer. It wasn't too long ago me and Fayk was testing with the p2p. The Performance data is possible to get with out a special build forgot the key combination for it. 0.25 kbps
  16. One big difference I notice while hacking it the damage difference. The health on Savior and Savior 2 is 288 while Chronicle has it at 144(Same as Hunter and the original/first one). Savior 2 Lilith Dunno if this is possible on arcade, but you could Air link LP to LK then into a LI(I'm sure it is possible). Edit: I found my first PSP/DC difference. Only on the DC version of chronicle the Screw Jet is an over head. but yeah Savior Morrigan 2MK is a mid on both.
  17. Not sure if this is an ok place to put this but i've sitting down writing the differences between Chronicle and the original arcade versions. I've only been working on Hunter on and off past couple days. System Ground Chains are the same as in Vampire Savior Fireballs desipate instead of a tug of war. Victor ES Dash Punch doesn't juggle airborn opponents Forward Dash covers more ground Electric Normals require less time being held Zabel Punch Throw has the kick back animation. Aulbath No Infinite Phobos Normals that are different 5HP, 5HK, 5MK, more New Normals close HP, could have more Flight is different, Different speed, different height Crouch walking speed is slower Float projectile is different and doesn't last as long Pyron No Double Pounce Dive Punch air chains removed Cross up tatsu tactics don't work
  18. The EX stages are intended for rival battles like Lilith's final battle. I dunno if every stage applied for the rival battles though like Fetus of the God and Iron Horse Iron Terror. http://i.imgur.com/ebVfA.png http://i.imgur.com/ioWlW.png
  19. Congrats to Kyle winning PowerUp 2012 and making Kajoq cry.
  20. Mame Cheat for Savior 1 <cheat desc="EX Stages"> <script state="run"> <action>maincpu.pb@FF8141=04</action> </script> </cheat> http://i.imgur.com/dmoGb.png http://i.imgur.com/2itBY.png
  21. Morrigan's is getting a cheap finish with air es fireball.
  22. I have no idea how to do these but apparently there is a 7th win pose for certain characters. Anak's 7th winpose is his coin gather win pose but no coins. Here is Morrigan's http://i.imgur.com/Fx9Iy.png
