Supposedly you unlock them in the gallery by clearing Unlimited Mars. I can't confirm this because I can't beat Unlimited Mars.

I'm the guy from GFAQs who explained it. I'm almost certain it was done on purpose, as ASW has released other CDs that are done in the same way (CD-ROM with 24bit 48kHz wav files instead of CD audio.) They did it in a certain printing of Song Accord #2, and the Guilty Gear x Blazblue Live Bonus CD. I doubt they'd screw it up by accident so many times. They probably chose the format because many believe it to be higher quality than CD audio.

What's the problem, other than the typos in story mode, and the untranslated Titles?

Is Epyon really as bad as everyone says? If so, that's a huge bummer to wait for your favorite suit for so long, and then they add it in an unusable state. Melee suits are already bad in trial mode and arcade mode, but you could use them online. Not only did melee suits get a nerf going into FB, they made Epyon a 3000 cost with 0 ranged options.
