I stole a match from Moy because he wanted to double burst and thought I gave a shit about gold burst being plus. Moy bodied my shit because I don't know what to do with plat on defense or neutral. He was playing harder than usual so maybe I'm better? Star Trek: Into Darkness was pretty decent. I'm surprised as hell given how offensively bad the....errr... GGs Moy.

There will probably be no show tonight. I have no guests or material. My PVR has died, I'm incredibly upset, very frustrated, and I have nothing good to contribute or moderate. Wait...Why are we dragging mixups into this? I want to my opponent to block. You basically gave me the gatling table from 5b[e], which I know you see me use, but here I am, people telling me I have no blockstrings. I don't get it.

Which people, though? I'd caution against this for my own reasons: I personally don't believe in the head start by playing a previous version. There's simply too much going on version-to-version that will mess with your expectations, and you can seriously spoil your own ideas and game by trying to learn on a version that's on its way out. You still have to learn that game, up and down, when you get it. There's nothing that gets around this. CP is the game you have to learn and play in. Not Extend. I thought like the OP and others when I picked up CT then cheap CS2 for extend. It only disserviced me when I should have focused on learning everything I could about extend. CT and CS2 only gave me bad habits in preparation for extend. Unless the comparison you're making applies to people that have never played BlazBlue. Otherwise - IMO - you're only setting yourself up for an uphill battle by learning the wrong *game*. If you're going to play extend in preparation for CP - You'll need to accept the fact you'll have to dispose of that knowledge and physical habit in order to focus on a game that you need to focus on. CP is not going to be an easier game. Unless, ofc, you really are a super beginner - in that case go ham on extend.

So - I learned that I actually can't move around on the right side of the screen. I'm not joking. I spent about a half hour trying and looked like your mom trying to play. I didn't IAD or Kire Tatami once. I can't hit 3, 9 or 6 from the right side. It was easier on my worn-out pad but the pads I use for visits are usually stiff. I did, however, learn something interesting about TK Youzansen, and I'll share it b/c I certainly have nothing else to contribute: It's a two-step motion, not four. You hold forward and then nearly half circle - 2369 - you hold at 9 and hit the button.

What in the fuck is 4398? Holy shit. I can barely 66 on the right side, dude.

I was told to look up Litchi's blockstrings list and use those. Where's the blockstrings list? Whatever I'm doing isn't good.

I can't seem to find the right people this week - I might change the show's topic so we can have some fun. Besides, I haven't had as much time to talk to people to develop the episode.

I might need some hard matches this weekend and next week. I want to be prepared for locals.

It's really hard doing some things on the new pad but for some reason I find I have a really hard time from the right side doing 4217 and 214754. From left side 4(1)236. I think this is why I might sometimes be hit low - Why can't I hit 1? It's a physical thing, since it happens on both old and new pads.
