WHEW! I got through it! I had fun, though. It's nice having these kinds of conversations. Too bad Mynus was absent - we would have covered things more deeply with a fourth, so we had to go a little off the rails. I got a lot of ideas on improving this - let me know if you have ideas, too! So I think I'll stick to every two weeks. This lets me really refine content and keep my own schedule.

I have to wonder if he was just looking for a lot of jab mash and then confirm my barrier and do something else. I didn't care so I just decided to block and see what they had. Lots of Arakune rising Jump normals. NETPLAY UNBLOCKABLES LOL. I knew he was just fucking around on me though. That's why I just switched to Bang and tsubaki and downbacked. I gotta stop playing this game if I'm not enjoying it. Trouble is I only enjoy it when I'm being better than others and making others look bad.

read Book of five rings like..15 something years ago. Might be worth a re-read now that I'm older. Sounded only half-profound when I was 15 but may not be now that I'm almost 30. One thing I noticed is the use of move names - there's three ways to name most of Litchi's moves, so we should really just pick the japanese one and make sure to show what the shorthand versions are in the text.

I haven't done that in a while, actually. I should give that another run and then start asking people if they are really autopiloting or not. No one likes giving an honest answer online though.

Hmmm...Well, slowly hitconfirming better but against the players I have to play against I need much better defensive skills. Trouble is I don't really know what they like to do or are capable of doing. I don't have a picture of what their options look like. I can't play in this community with a bad defense - it's unacceptable. I have to somehow begin to understand how they play and what their options are and stop playing anime club.

Thanks for doing this - To be honest - I'm not sure what to think - maybe you just need stronger format and structure. I listened to the Baiken part but it still seemed a bit vague and Zen-like. I didn't walk away with anything to actually change with myself other than "Offense tends to crap out and she has to run away on mixup fail" Which conflicts with other Behaviors I see with other Baikens I know. I tend to play very scared recently, so people are urging me to go in MAD and work on mastering hitconfirming. I like deliberate playstyle and I don't like hitting many buttons but I like an explosive momentum change. (Litchi can do this, Baiken, too if she gains corner advantage) So sometimes I'm not sure who to trust in these games. I don't know who your intended audience is - People like me trying to close the skill gap? New players to GG? new players to FG? Vets?

Skype is the only way I can do this for guests, so if you want to appear at some point (all bang panel for bang episode lol) then it's a requirement.
