Whatever I block it with my face IDONTEVENCARE! This game has too many fully invincible moves. If I see you do something slow and grab your startup that should be GGs for you. NOPE, not in this game.

"I've already seen through your techniques". Since you go to special cancels and Mokoto's moves pretty much last a while for multiple hits, I can block, instablock and respond. If you go for overhead or rapid cancel I can spot those, too. In many cases I flat out disrespected your buttons. In general, I was feeling powered up tonight and playing well against both players and their characters. Daisy has also learned a few tricks, so don't feel bad. If nothing else - let tonight show you can't sleep on Awakened Star-Demon. >=3 Focus on understanding you own your characters' moves and habits. All players have habits.

More proof that I get better by not playing BB... =| I started off with more hitconfirms tonight but I fell into bad habits and dropped inputs. Very frustrating when they seem to just disappear. Best I can do if that happens is convert into new strategy.

I really like the icebreaker idea. Personally, I'm all business when I go places. I want to play the game so much I'd prefer just jumping into the TV and ignoring all the noise in the arcade and people and get myself some credibility by performing well. I don't have time for anything else. I have to get better somehow. People go to play the game and accomplish things, I think. That's just me, though.

The Baiken episode will just be "She an EzModo character that dodges blocking and is really only for frauds and scrubs, but you do have to learn the matchup, so let's talk about the matchup for these frauds..." Hellmonkey is sometimes around, but you might as well just copy and paste the wiki for the Baiken script, since Kearu and Hellmonkey wrote most of that, I think. Who was that really good swedish Baiken? Sinjin? Yeah - make him talk. I liked some of that stuff. Definitely want to hear what he has to say . Jump S is really good. People seem to hate tatamis. People hate suzuran, too. Kabari is slow and obvious to look at but people still think it's great IDK why but just do it anyways you don't have to understand. EDIT: Actually - would be fine just hearing why whatshisname thinks about Baiken being aggressive to force people to block then go in and out. -

Baiken's Killer ending is a bit contrived, but let's stop and think about this - there's no portrait sprites and it's on a PS2 Disc. Baiken interacting with other characters couldn't possibly have the level of dialogue needed to really SHOW her discarding herself and just killing anyone who looks at her funny. The ending just has Ky seeing her looking really mad. The actions you take to get this ending are her being annoyed and killing people, so it makes sense but it still poorly executed. Would it not be awesome if there were "Teach me" segments for bad endings? :D I vote I-NO or Kliff, I think... -
GG crashed my PS3, so I'm gonna try BB tonight.

Which Baiken ending was the legit one? The one where she goes apeshit and starts killing everyone or the one she's just travelling with Anji? (Or the one where I-NO escapes and she just drinks in moonlight like a class-act?) -
GGs MT5A, Zking - MT5A - It was laggy - usually we have a workable connection. You see the difference between GG and BB? Zking - Once you learn Eddie he's pretty autopilot, right? Just get into that groove then choose High/Low/Grab. Not many moves of his that Baiken can just GC - she'll just get hit by something else during startup or you can spot Sakura or I won't be able to convert off it at some distances without FRC.

You can do the TK YZS in a way that goes over the enemy and then YZS - it hits on the back end of the swing - if you can do this motion, FRC at the 4th frame, you can get a fancy crossup for 25 meter, although I'm not sure: A: If you will be facing the right way after FRC. B: If you won't just get mashed anyways C: If you shouldn't have just spent 50 Meter for typical situation where you can TK YZS which is still pretty godlike.

I think they should add more belts and Baiken should be S Tier and none of you should play her. Also - Alternate costumes are definitely possible - Rigging and basic models are the things that matter, clothes are easy done, and with a professional staff working on the game instead of just modders doing that sort of thing I'm sure you'll see some really nice Capcom-like stuff come out. I really, really, REALLY hope they add a lot of options to training mode. Limited and First are not real modes to me. Limited can't block high after low and vice versa, and First pretty much does the same thing. It doesn't help you actually learn how to deal with a blocking opponent, it tells you how to beat the stupid training dummy. Give me Random block: Reversal (GC if char has none) , Random Block: Normal, and Random Block: Really good. EDIT: Dude brings up a good point, Circ - what ARE we allowed to discuss in this thread? -
TK Youzansen is tough (4th frame frc) - and I'm not sure if doing it on Stick, pad or with Pad macro are any different. Not they you'd want to TK youzansen FRC unless you are godlike enough with you execution to IAD TK YZS FRC and then try for a double overhead. Waste of meter for what is only just a crossup, albeit creative. You'd probably just get mashed at, anyways.
