So, I was taking a walk today -clearing my head - when I thought of a good idea for a thread: Does the text on all of the character crests mean anything? There's a lot of it, and there are entire phrases placed in significant places. So - does it mean anything - and if it does - can we give ourselves the means to translate things in the BlazBlue universe?

Actually, Lich, if you think about the amount of BB locals here (the two thaat are streamed are the only ones? Maybe!), you may end up ranking higher on the top 40 worthadamn rankings than you think.

Time investments. If we are to believe the effort needed for a good game based on what guys like Sanford say, it takes around 3 years to get good at a game. This requires a lot of 14 hour shifts and a lot of focus and dedication to the game. TBH I don't have that in me anymore - the last 14 hour gaming shift I had was Camping Vex Thal Key parts. Shoutouts to anyone old enough to know what those fucking things were, btw... I think I'll jump back on the game in a bit...

I drink vitamin water, but yeah, I try. usually after an hour or so I pull it together, but I usually just burn out much faster. I really want more days where I'm more durable to loss and solid in game. @Moy: KOF13 is a really good game, but I think rather limited, and I wonder how fun it really is when netplay is not feature rich or high performance. People usually get squashed very hard in that game, and the most fun it gets is at the top 5% level. If anyone wants KOF13 games lemme know. I probably could handle salt in that game since I can East Coast OS that all day. I can't do that in this game. This is why MAHVEL is so successful and popular. The game has an astonishing amount of crap, but is probably fun at all levels of play. As for BlazBlue - dude, if we are to believe the numbers posted here a month or so ago, not even 20000 people bought this game. If we take the top 5% of 15000 (since 5% of userbase reads forums based on larger games - I've seen 5% be of practical usefulness for finding this out), 750 people read this forum for blazblue. The top 5% of these people amount to 38 people that are actually good at this game in the US. America has 38 BlazBlue players that are "worth a damn" - someplace out there.

I fixed it wrong. zounds. Oh yeah. I cannot tell you how hard it is to choke down a blowup and try to tell myself "it's okay" after just failing to do basic stuff and repeating the same basic mistakes I've been trying to not do anymore. I get built up a lot by sandbagging and I just crash on my face, and it's really hard to just take constant small ups and then really, REALLY humiliating blowups. If he's actually as bad as me then it's definitely just Ragna. I'm not THAT beta. Best of my ability is Shit. I guess it can ONLY get better, if it does change, but I really want to just see a really permanent "never again" step up instead of a small "I think I learned this better and can avoid this happening better" and then "oh, wait, he spent a whole match blowing me up just that. Guess I was wrong" It's drives me nuts, I'm at the point where people are annoyed that I'm saying they are sandbagging every single match. Garbageday just blew me up with nothing but CAT STICK AND DASHGRAB. Even an idiot can beat those two. Why?!?!

That's it - I don't know anything in this game anymore - everything I know and do is just wrong and I don't know anything about playing right.

OH, because I'm the only awful person here! I SEE.
