Don't Kokushi him unless he has no way of hitting D at any point during it. Hakumen gets meter for nothing, but the good part is that most Hakumens make mistakes and rely on you to body yourself anyways, despite amazing meter advantages and damage. I let Hakumen body himself. While opening you up can result in major damage, he's not a scary as Rach/Plat/Bang/Valk. Quoting LK: In general - be very careful how you approach and attack Hakumen. One mistake is big damage, and in general, just treat him like he's Tager. Keep him out of Litchi's Danger zone so he can't use j.c or j.b on you, beware his 3c and other starters, and just poke the shit out of him until you feel like you can open him up safely. Hakumen can get really bullish once he has meter. He'll burn it to be up on you, and if you use the wrong staff normal you're gonna whiff on him and get hurt. Good news is you can guard point a lot of his stuff. TL:DR: "Tager with an airdash."

I've been accused of this (and called out by Zeth and Moy), but when you consider I have like 40-something gigs of me losing over 1800 matches over time on my stream or YT to make up for it (and made fun of at streamed events), feeling myself a little bit on my YT is alright when I feel the match was tough or something amusing happens. Actually - I sometimes upload losses for the Litchi Improvement thread when I am figuring out what works and what doesn't in a match.

That's all fine stuff and I agree. My point has always been this: Valk isn't bullshit, though. He's just really good. BS is what gets you that S. Maybe that's just my opinion on what S actually means. If everyone were A, we'd be in a perfect world. S should not exist. Recent complaints about relius' tech aside, he gets rewarded well enough. EDIT: If you convince me valk is BS I'll change my mind. :P

I don't quite understand why you place Valk so high when hardly anyone complains about him being stupid or bullshit. More complaining = higher tier, you know. Only reason Hakumen's up there is damage for doing absolutely nothing. You're making the implication that valk just shits on everything but from the looks of things since February, Ragna's the one making everyone look like they are trying too hard. Since when has a valk ta NCI or a Valk at TSB just make people look like they just need to PICKATOPTIER? Anyways - 2369 and 23698 has been pretty good to me on pad. Instant improvement over 2367. Also - I beat people this morning. True story.
