I'm trying to think if it's a better plan to replace the guts and buttons and touch up and enamel coat the top case or just buy a used replacement stick, use the case. I don't think I'll have a problem finding a way to grind down the face plate. Plenty of help for that available. I want to redeem this stick, somehow, and harness the power of hate - from the reaction I can tell it's worthwhile if I pull it off.

Yeah, I remember playing Street Fighter 4 and someone Coaching me and keep telling me to stop looking at my character while I play. ESPECIALLY FEI LONG. It's hard not to look at your character.

Shoutouts to that person, by the way. I feel pretty inspired. Definitely want to take this in a new direction. :D :D :D :P Suits me well, don't you think?

I printed that one out long ago - didn't I post about dome some of them on YT and in thread? Anything I hit into some airdash j.SD > Tatami Oki...Surprisingly, nearly every hit I can get. I know 5D is called "American", but I just see it as just another overhead into over 130 damage for 25% meter. For other stuff, I cap out at 170-217ish for 50%, so right now it doesn't really seem that bad an idea to master a 5D combo. This is exactly why I want to master it! I almost got it down. I started pushing buttons really hard to get timing down, so I'm almost there. once I got this I have another powerful tool. After describing what I could do and not do with Sogos during the last TSB stream, I got the impression I have a lot already, but still need a few more things. like a better mindset and attitude. I don't know how to training mode that.

I changed two things today about how I played and it really helped me roll my training partner in some matches. 1. I changed my 5D combo. It's now an attempt at an ID combo, goes like 5D> IDPKSD > FRC dash SD > Falling D I have a hard time IAD tatami oki after it, but I'll figure something out. He said he couldn't tech, noticed it was longer, and I do way more damage than my old 5D starter. 2. I'm using FRCs more efficiently. That gives me more meter, which gives me many more opportunities on Sakura, Baku, or even the next project - integrating FRC air tatamis. Bad news is I am not the best EC Baiken, stickbug tells me that is Vyers. Now I must either must beat Vyers, beat someone who beats Vyers, or learn from Vyers. Then IMDABES.

LOL that was you? I thought that MU flowcharting looked familiar! I wouldn't have done that if you were on Cookie. Next time I'll have to 2A. Mu does frustrate me a lot, though. I just ended up wondering: "How many times can I just hang back, let her flowchart Mu, and then just DP when she goes in after stein cover?" Then you started running up and grabbing, so I'm like: "Oh, you want netplay grabs? I'll give you netplay Grabs." The answer is like 5. Then you started baiting it. So I just kinda farted around and turtled since the more buttons you press against mu the more Fatal counters she gets. OrderRagna plays ragna, definitely knows what to do, was much harder, but I had more fun than playing against Mu. Mu is on the dumb list.

GGs to OrderRagna - making me try all sorts of stuff just to have Ragna not give a fuck about any of it. Handshakes to others. I think I am better now in that I used to only beat people that were dumbasses - and now I can beat people who are dumbasses and probably people who are acting like dumbasses.

That's okay - That explained it pretty well. It makes more sense now. You pretty much have to deal with a 50/50, but replacing one 50 with a 50 that's slightly better. You're getting hit or you might not get hit.

I don't understand how it's better. You DP and get baited/blocked and feel/look stupid, you DP and get CH instead before or after it happens, or you DP and it hits. How is this not a Hail Mary?
