oh i know. i'm not saying that it's a good move (read my previous posts in this thread where i talk about ex ky), just that it's a hilarious one.

yeah we are. cd and i messed with ac+ ex characters quite a bit. so much more fun than regular ac ex characters. also ky's fb lighting strike is lololol.

i would consider them to be follow-ups, since you can only "cancel" those moves into another designated move.

bb frc into gold burst that gets air thrown is TOO GOOD

sol's sweep works great as an anti-air in some situations, as you could do hilarious combos off of ch 2d.

i'll let cd explain the merits of robo hover fb into explosion fb as oki.

the only reason one would play ex dizzy would be for her michael sword forcebreak. it's got a pretty long ground slide, so you could do something like throw out p or k fish on oki, mix-up into michael sword fb, then the fish bite would launch the opponent and you could run up and score an air combo off of that. her air combos feel a bit strange though, since you can't jump cancel ex dizzy's j.s. as for the legendary BUBBLE FISH, popping one bubble automatically triggers the other bubbles, and all three bubbles do something like 120 damage, so very big fun. also ex zappa's forcebreaks are HILARIOUS.

how come ex dizzy gets no love, expecially with her legendary BUBBLE FISH?

not to mention that slayer can make your wake-up vv whiff, and you can't rc whiffed vipers.

also, ex sol's 236D is pretty amazing if your opponent is already in/near the corner, but otherwise it's like ky's regular charge stun edge. midscreen, most of his old dust loop setups still work, but lack of knockdown on his vv hurts (clean hit sidewinder follow-ups can be rewarding in certain situations, i guess). landing 214K is pretty easy with ex sol, although following up with a combo during that pathetically short slide isn't always possible. essentially i feel that ex sol would be a much better character if his combo options were a bit more practical, but otherwise he's just as good as ex ky (balanced? )

ex ky's "call down the thunder" fb isn't even that great. i mean you can throw it out against people who aren't used to it, but generally you'll only catch them with it if 1) they're not holding fd in the air or 2) they're doing something that has a lot of start-up. it's decent for zoning purposes, but if they're on top of you then don't even bother wasting meter on it. ex ky has more mix-up options than regular ky, but nothing too overpowering. his overheads are still obvious and his command throw range is pretty pathetic. grand vapor thrust stops working somewhere around the third match (haven't bothered messing with combo options) and his 236K is a bit safer than sol's, but you can still 6P it. bottom line, ex ky is spectacularly mediocre.

does anyone remember this old #reload match between a slayer and i-no, where both rounds came down to slayer with literally a pixel of life, then did a bite loop on i-no and got his health back and went on to win the match? it was called the "heartbreaking match" on the website it was originally posted on. （残念マーチ動画）

YES YOU DO it's actually more of the same from a year ago, since my two glaring weaknesses (bad mix-ups + bad execution) are still there because i practice all the wrong things in training mode.
