  1. Maining Carl right now and I have to say, these videos are great. It looks like I have some time to spend in training mode.
  2. I am looking for a character who can counter moves done by others and dish out damage when needed. In previous games I loved the characters with counter supers because I felt they required skill to use, plus they were really satifying to pull off. Please help.
  3. Ok, I get it now. Thanks.
  4. So what I am getting for this is that your main is someone you know the in's and out's of very well, have a dedication to learn, and through that you learn how to use those tools in order to wins out over the others. Right?
  5. I just want to know what it really means to have a main. Whenever I see videos of high level players, they seem to have total mastery over their character. It might be because they are dedicated to mastering their character. Yet I can't shake the feeling that I have to know how to play every character in order to be good, so it kinda hard to find a main. Is skill measured by quality or quantity? Please help.
  6. I have always wanted to learn Tager but I never really had any pointers are starting blocks. Now I can work to making Tager my main, or at least sub before main. Definitely helpful and informative.
  7. Some points to know: You cannot spam your way to victory. If you hate spammers then good for you. Fireball wars don't exist. Playing to win involves actually learning damaging combos, single hits don't win games (unless they are final hits or Astrals). Characters are more balanced. Just my opinion: hard to get started but once you do, it becomes the greatest fighting game with no equal (except Guilty Gear, maybe). All the characters are unique, generally don't have many overlapping moves (Ex. Ryu and Ken, almost identical).
