Pools are out for Northwest Majors 5: http://nwmv.challonge.com/nwmvP4A Logic Hole will be providing the dedicated anime stream for the weekend Other events include BBCSE Side Tournament following P4U (also streamed). You will NOT need to pay the $50 at the door. Instead, it's a $10 "participation badge" and the tournament itself will be $5 entry. VSav will be taking place at 6 PM and is being run by Samuelio. Same deal as BBCSE, $5 entry, will be streamed. Friday evening we will have P4U teams. Format will be 2v2, Waseda Style, 2/3, double elim. Entry will be $5 per person + registration/participation fee. The full schedule will be coming out. I won't say we got the anime slot, but don't sleep in! P4A Top 8 will be on the main stage/stream Sunday

Full results, brackets, rankings, and more for Battle for Seattle - May 2013 are up. We're taking next month off for Northwest Majors 5 - June 7-9. Registration goes up on May 22nd. If you're just interested in side events (not P4U), all you need is a spectator pass which is significantly cheaper. I still have to get the thread up ;_; Hmm... Seriously, welcome to PNW. We meet up most Sundays in Kent. I'm from further north (Seattle), so I don't know what other days people meet up down there. Hit up Vista, Huey253, and/or Tae and they can help you out. If you feel like traveling, we have a small P4U tournament this Saturday in Lynnwood (Facebook link). There's booze, so I'd say it's worth carpooling for :P Besides that, let us know if you're ever in the Seattle area and we can get some games in!

This was our first time running 6 tournaments (including ExVS starting late), yet we still finished on time and were able to put (at least) Grand Finals of every game on stream. It was good to see the increase in support that every game got this month with Redmond coming out very strong (despite the awful traffic!), Seattle, Olympia, and even Marysville representing! Thank you to everyone who brought equipment (especially the Gundam setups) and our staff, Veteru, Landis, and as always, Logichole for his constant work upgrading his stream. Follow him! Thank you as well to Shandor for hosting us. Our next Battle for Seattle monthly will once again be taking place on the second Saturday, April 13! If you're looking for games before then, we have a very active scene in Seattle, Redmond, Kent, and Tacoma. Players are often up for XBL or PSN as well! While not always active, we do keep an eye on our Dustloop thread and IRC (check the thread). Or if you prefer Facebook, our group is PNW Airdashers. I'll see you all next month!

Thanks for having us! C0R and blargster already made us feel like the trip was worthwhile even before we knew that everyone else was gonna show up. I wish my computer wasn't giving me so many issues. It's normally fine >.> You can download that SF4 mod at sf4remix.com. This Saturday, Gamebreakerz is holding their monthly and P4U is in it. I'm not sure how I'm getting there yet, but I plan on going. Tournament starts at 7pm sharp and I'll be putting the bracket together at 6:30pm. We'll have late registration open until the bracket fills up. Shandor is now allocating setups and getting them ahead of time, so our setups will be ours for the entire night. Last Saturday, we held a tournament at GameClucks. 8 Entrants, Huey253 won over Shaka. Grand Finals were recorded, but aren't up yet. As a result, rankings have been updated (image/full list).

Welcome, Asuras! Huey often holds sessions in Tacoma. I'll poke him to post in here. Sundays we sometimes meet up at the PNW House in Kent. Our main tournament series is every second Saturday of the month in Auburn. Feel free to join us on IRC. There's also our Facebook group, PNW Airdashers, if you use that. If you have any questions, let us know!

Results, archives, shoutouts, humor, etc. from Battle for Seattle - Feb 2013 are up. Details for March's Battle for Seattle are already available (I've also added things like places to eat, tournament history, rankings, and more). It will take place on Saturday, March 9th. Be there! We could also use some help in promoting this event, so if there's anyone in the Northwest you think should make it, please let them know! Catching up to Tae in P4U is taking a while. This makes three tournaments now he's defeated me ;_; The way Huey beat me was sad... At least I beat Shaka for the first time Also, Veteru reminded me that GG is fun~

Results and archives from last Saturday's Battle For Seattle (feat. GEXVS, P4A, GG, BB, and AE 2012) are up on Dustloop. Grats to Tae on his first win :P I'm not sure when the next one will be as there's some scheduling conflicts. We're waiting to hear back from people. The next tournament Persona will be at will be this Saturday, again at Gamebreakerz for their monthly. Start time is 7pm, entry fee is $5, venue is $5. Details are on Facebook. I'll be there hopefully with some of the other UW crew. Sounds like Vista and Huey will be making it, too. Replays featuring Murder Joe on commentary and "Tommy the Green Ranger" playing are on YouTube. You may have also heard of my rankings mentioned. I've been keeping track of every public tournament P4A, BB, and GG have been at in the Seattle area and have been applying Microsoft's TrueSkill ranking system to it. Here are the current rankings for P4A, BB, and GG. Tournaments for P4A have an expiration date of 3mo which is why Kaigu is not ranked (it's been over 3mo since he has entered an event). Finally, if you're looking for offline play and can make it to the UW area, we'll be holding casuals on Wednesday evening and likely Friday, too. As usual, our Facebook group is Shoryuken UW. The main airdashers group is PNW Airdashers. I still pay attention to this thread, though.

This was our first time running Gundam Extreme VS and while it went far too long, it certainly added to the event and I'm thankful we ran it. This was also our first AE 2012 tournament and I was thrilled to see so many come out for that as well. P4A filled up a 16-man continuing to show that it's one of Seattle's most active games. Players also came out for GG and BB filling up 8-mans and showing that our scene will be ready for the upcoming updates. Thank you to everyone who brought equipment and those of you who ran brackets or helped out in other ways, especially Veteru, Landis, Josh, Jason, and Alex. As always, James was responsible for streaming this event and he continued to level up his game with an all new HD camera. Make sure you following him on Twitch! Thanks as well to Shandor for giving Battle For Seattle a great home For those of you looking for more games, we have a very active scene in Seattle, Redmond, Kent, and Tacoma. If you're not in any of these areas, post up and get some games in online or see if there are others near you! For upcoming monthlies, next Saturday the 26th will be the Gamebreakerz monthly with P4A starting at 7pm. Then on February 16th, Saturday Slugfest VIII will take place just a few minutes north of Seattle in Lynnwood, WA. I hope to see you all at the next one!
