  1. This always comes up but before it gets out of control... port forwarding will only help you connect to other players (I.e. if you cannot join a lobby then it's likely restrictive NAT you have to fix). Fixing your NAT will not improve your actual connection speed.
  2. It looks like you've got down one nice combo/gimmick (doing straight through A then move-the-staff-thingy (oh my God, I really don't know all the Japanese terms, VERY sorry) into 236A 236B 6321A etc etc) and were hell bent in getting that in. One thing I found bizarre was that you failed to confirm any of your 2As into any sort of combo - you can confirm 2A into normal gatlings. Instead, you just hit them with some 2As and then allowed them to continue blocking your pressure. I dunno whether that was intentional or not (maybe you don't want to deal with the proration but personally I just go with any hit confirms I get...). That gold burst was silly, you could have really used that later on when you were getting corner resetted. You won by the skin of your teeth because that Tsubaki wasn't that great, dropped a lot of combos and tried to shenanigans you at the end... it really looks like you weren't too sure of the match up there. Good blocking in some parts though
  3. Hey guys, I discovered this really cool Carl combo, don't steal it: 5B 5B 623C mash 5C until the next move comes out because BLAZBLUE, 22D j.c WHATEVER YOU WANT AFTER THIS LOL
  4. Yuki, main Makoto. Let's see how good you are at BB.
  5. Hey guise, what kind of snacks do you eat when playing BB? I like to sip green tea while waiting for a match in a lobby
  6. BGs to 'Ghostt 92' - I totally bodied his CCCCCC slamming Jin in ranked, found him on ranked again and he's switched to his psr700 something Hakumen, thought "awww yeah let's go" totally wrecked his shit with annoying Litchi corner resets and he ragequits hilariously. Send him a smiley face in recognition and he sends me back an expletives filled retort. I then find a lobby he is hosting and decide to play some subs against him and also because his play style is so cheap, I can get some throw teching practice. He bodies me pretty decisively with some characters I am just trying for fun then I switch to Litchi, beat him and he kicks me from the room. Pdft some people lolol
  7. Wut, that is an epic price for a TE, somebody will buy that surely? Heck, I would but I managed to salvage my Hori Real Arcade Pro - had to resolder all connections inside and do a "mod" which is basically the first 6cm of cable tucked into the chassis otherwise it randomly cuts out. Yeah. What a piece of crap. The Qanba 4Q thing looks like a good buy, I've heard good things - I guess that's the one you're looking at for £100. Anyway hello everyone, my gamertag is progject8, I'm in the UK and I'm free as Hell
  8. You've played "nearly every fighter there is" yet you can't beat the tutorial mode in Blazblue. What the Hell?
  9. Yeah I get your point, but in CS2 she had great Oki and mix up and all that PLUS the good damage. Of course, we play Blazblue to have fun but this particular thread is a discussion about one character, without this kind of talk there's no point in this thread. Just ignore me anyway - I've played CSE for about an hour in total so far, I'm just sort of shocked at how bad she is initially. I'm sure things will change!
  10. Just gonna "throw" this out there... I love how everyone throws around the term "netplay". Are you guys complaining about being grabbed online seriously saying that you would have 100% teched that grab if only it were offline? Unless there's an actual lag spike or a particularly bad connection (in which case, why are you even trying to play the match with a 0 connection?) what's the problem? Seems like an easy thing to blame when they fail to anticipate a grab to me. Nobody plays BB offline, the people that do are like 0.010% of players and most of them post on here, which is why everyone just says "lol play offline scrub hurr". In real life, most BB players are too scrubby to leave their houses as they are always broke kids/are way too lazy/whatever. It's not like Street Fighter/Marvel where everyone is cool and doesn't really play video games and they all shout loudly and get hype together! Blazblue is an ONLINE game. Arc designed it that way. That is why there is the 5 frame buffering and that's why they strive to put in good netcode with good online infrastructure. Deal with it. Or just grab back. What's so hard about this?
  11. How is doing "a LOT less damage" not important? Isn't the goal of the game to do damage to your opponent?! I have to rapid cancel if I want to do the same mid-screen combo I liked to do before, the exact same combos I do in the corner do like 1k less damage. Also, thanks Arc for speeding up the general gatlings that really helps fighting online. What the Hell was the point in that anyway? Assholes I do acknowledge that I'm just going through the initial rebalancing shock, but wow she just seems so horrible now compared to CS2. It's the only character in this game I've actually learned anyway so I guess I just have to deal with it haha.
  12. Okay, so I had the right idea, I'm just not proficient enough. Playing on stick btw, so doing all that in particular is a bit cumbersome... Thanks!
  13. CSE landed here in the UK yesterday and I burned through almost all of the Litchi challenges in one go - they're super easy compared to the challenges in CS2. Litchi sure is bad now. Where is her damage and why do all her combos look retarded. Hitting someone with Chun just looks stupid, if they wanted to change how far the opponent flies back or whatever then fine (even though it results in MY MID-SCREEN DAMAGE ) but why does it make them spin like that? I used to go in rooms and wail on people with long combos and lol at them raging at me, I can't see that happening any more now What the Hell happened to Litchi.
  14. Hey guys, I like to play Litchi. She is my favourite anime fighting game character. Thing is, I don't really read the Litchi forums, so everything I know I got from copying videos, taking things form the challenges and just working it out for myself. There is one trick I can't do, I think it still works in CSE... I'm not going to use the Japanese names of all the moves so bear with me - basically, it's this cool looking trick that also has a practical use. I even met some dude who posts on here and he showed me it but I was still too retarded to figure it out. Basically, in the corner, I do the typical: [normal gatlings] into 236B 63214A A [so I've basically hit them with the Last Chance thing but you guys use the Japanese name for it. Ipatsuu?). At this point, I've seen Litchi players do something cool - it's like a cross up that results in falling off the pole and immediately doing 236B and it keeps them in the corner when the pole is too close to the corner for you to keep them there otherwise. I *think* one has to jump down off the pole then quickly dash and then input 236B... is this it? I just can't do this stupid trick. Does anybody know what I'm talking about and can anybody help. Thanks!
  15. I'm a scrub on Xbox Live that mains Litchi and London is easy to get to. LOOK OUT
