Yup, I was thinking this same thing the moment I thought about how the 3C was there. This makes 3C > 236AXXA our most legit ender for Oki so far. I also approve of the bubble route more. Which makes me think of something else, whether or not we still have our item switch combos later on. Random thought: TK Swallow vs Opponents Wake-up OD

I think she should certainly be able to extend her combos with items. I'm still confident in the idea that she'll seriously be relying on her items more. Meterless, even though it's day one, we've seen combos, but nothing giving us Oki unless it was shortened from what I can remember Lemme think.. We have 6C after mami circular, but mami wallsticks and throws em away.... I wish I could just get this damn game in my hands so I can experiment. So, do we have anyway to lift them off the ground outside the corner for something like: Whatever, J.C , 236AAB? > Something We just have to see what the japs come up with in a month or two. And hope we can import.

Now the question would be what's our best combo gunna be midscreen and corner/near corner with 5C starter And yup, it's completely air tight. I normally use it to break the last two primers of 4 primer characters after they burst or otherwise when I get the chance. 2A > 5C >Hammer 5D, Frame trap and lost of primers if they don't fall for it. Pretty easy to confirm off a CH 5C when you're looking for it too so you don't autopilot the Hammer at the end. 5A > 5C > Hammer 5D is completely airtight for when you just wanna guardbreak. Though, that's only on normal block. 5C on instant block is punishable by I know Ragna and anything with start-up invuln during Hammer's start-up.

I'm comfortable sitting on 2 free combos with the hammers. I don't wanna use even one in a combo. My question is, with 5C's level-down, is 5C > Hammer 5D still airtight? With this hammer could we have 'Unblockable' setups? Well, in this case, the word would be 'Guardbreak' set-ups.

Honestly, since I don't have much of a scene, I make the most of the recording slots in training mode. Those things are pretty good for teaching my how to react to certain shit on reaction and what to do where. I mainly used for learning what to punish on instant blocks, finding holes in blockstrings, practicing teching throws etc etc. On topic: Yes, there certainly is as he said. You develop bad habits which don't fly later on once you meet real competition. for example, someone who may always get hit by...Let's say an IAD overhead. And since you -know- they're always going to get hit by it, you never bother to switch it up. Eventually, this becomes a habit for you. (Or worse, you automatically 'hitconfirm' it and start pressing buttons that aren't safe.) Use this one someone else who has much more experience so often and you suddenly get blown up for it and don't know what to do. Things like that.

Heartcar wallsticks now, not bounces. Also, I noticed the weirdness of bat hitbox as well. Bubbles are faster, it seems. I made that observation as well. This is what our OD does.

Pretty much the same for me. No a fan of her design outside her sexy skintone and eyes. I'm all for her style of gameplay, though. I'll seriously enjoy playing her.

This has so much worth taking note of it's insane. Up the quality if you have to. I'll just leave this here until yggjrasil makes the video thread. This is worth studying. Madoka palette is pretty damn good.

Honestly, I rarely use this normal for anything except meaties. I know it has it's uses depending on how you hit it just like Kaeru said. Perhaps I shoulder experiment with it when I get the chance. Unfortunately, my ps2 had died on me. So, no practice even with NEC 9 days away. Guess I'll have to get in casuals hard to regain my feeling of 20 days no Baiken. I tend to play pretty patiently somewhat.. I'm only aggressive when I feel I can get away with it and even then I like to be careful so I don't do anything stupid and get blown up for whiffing something. At the same time, I like to keep them within my reach with Kabari. Actually, I've never fought a Baiken before, but thinking about it, can Baiken Ouren a Kabari and get a CH? I try to focus on properly spacing everything and save my heat for when I absolutely need it. Honestly, I prefer to keep my heat midscreen unless I can get big damage or hit something like: Stuff > JPSD FRC > AD > Tatami > Dustloop to put em in the corner. And regarding your IAD troubles and the line Yggdrasil: I jump between square-gate (I prefer square gates) and pad a lot of the time. And the advise that Kaeru gave is what you want to follow. Depending on your controller, you'll want to do it different ways. But on a square-gate stick, I only use two fingers to hold it: My index and middle fingers are just under the balltop and pinky and ring fingers are helping my other two grasp it whilst my thumb usually flat on the balltop. Most of the time, I only use the fingers below the balltop for IAD's, jump push right to 9, rotate my wrist straight using the point between my middle and ring fingers and push it right to 6 to IAD. Tapping it twice of course isn't a problem on that angel. As for IAD on pad, you'd literally want to do as clean a 9 as possible and then 6. Though, this will depend more on your controller about whether you can even do that. I play with the D-pad on those 10$ ps2 Gamestop controllers since the d-pad is very much to my liking. I can even consistently pull of TK youzansen on it.
