Don't worry bro, i'll learn him and Yu properly when i get the game. For now i've just been mainly using Chie. Don't want to use a lot of characters atm, since i don't have the game. But will Deffo use him.

Grats Chaz.

Yeah it'll be uploaded to Youtube i presume. But for now, you can watch the stream, until it is uploaded.

I was using both, but i played so much better with Chie today. For some reason, i know the combos and EVERYTHING for Yu, but when it comes to doing it, i kinda freeze for a second..which is why my Yu was kinda repeatitive. I'll be using Both of them AND Yosuke in the future, but bare people just wanted me to use chie today for some reason. GGs to everyone I Played today. Stay free to my Linear Yu blockstrings > Oki. It was nice seeing you MS. Glad i could show you and Zoular some Chie stuff. Also GGs to me being able to Play on stick now :3! Fuck P4A on pad, that shit is a myth. Special thanks to Zoular.

Did i mention that Chie also has a bad R-action..well, in comparison to Yu's. I guess the short active frames on her R-action is balanced by it's fast recovery. Tit for tat really.

I generally agree. Yu is a better character than Chie. Yu can do everything Chie can, but better. - Better Oki - More range - Better base damage..generally. Can't really say much for the normals. Chie's 5A makes for good stagger pressure. But generally Yu is overall a much better version of Chie.

[P4A] Chie Satonaka Vs. Yosuke Hanamura - TRIAL OF THE DRAGON
-Kid replied to Amadeus46Art's topic in Chie Matchups
Played against Yosuke yesterday and after watching a video, i've realised quite an easy way to by-pass Yosuke's R-action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCDYmHpLHUY&t=9m26s Basically, how it works is that you attempt to cross him up with j.C, and if he uses his R-action, it will activate because of the j.C, but if you observe carefully, j.C leaves Chie in the air a while long, making her avoid being hit by Yosuke's R-action. Comparing the hitbox of Yosuke's R-action, and the height that tomoe leaves Chie when using j.C, it seems like Chie doesn't enter the hitbox of the R-action. You'll end up on the other side, allowing you to go for a good hard hit combo. I've tested it out myself, and it works out really well. -
Personally, I use 5A and 5C to get rid of bubbles. But then again, it depends on where the platinum is. If she is on the other side of that bubble, you may wanna go for something like 5C, so that you can stuff the bubble, and use the 5C as a poke at the same time, to stop Platinum's ground approach. Other times, it's best to go for something with quick recovery, like 5A. I usually use 66 5A in that case. For some reason, everytime i dash with Ragna, platinum's get scared. Dunno why though, it's just something i've observed. But yeah, generally 5A and 5C....sometimes 5B.

+5 on 22C. Get.

I personally like STD's Chie.

Try using Tomoe without having knocked them down. It'll make your opponent think twice about trying to jump out or mash. Be careful though, especially against mitsuru. 5C seems to be good at stuffing people's mashing if spaced correctly.

Gonna compile a list of what's been said/confirmed to make it easier for KayEff to update, instead of him digging through posts: Andddd..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjKK1rhHFlM&feature=plcp ^ a compilation of what has been said at the end of page 13, up until now. Bare with me, my buffs and nerfs might be a bit off. There is still some things we don't know yet, which is why i don't completely write some things off as a definite buff or nerf. One thing is for sure though. Ragna definitely has more nerfs than buffs so far.

I wonder if we'll ever get CT j.B back. @0.33. Close enough?
-
It's literally just a waiting game. You'll have to be observant, look for patterns you can recognise in someone's playstyle. Wait for them to make mistakes, and use that chance to get in. I don't think there is anything i could specifically advise regarding getting in, Chie is just that sort of character. If you get close enough, and you feel your opponent is going to mash buttons, then you can attempt to get a 5C counter hit in. The hitstun for a 5C counter hit looks quite big, so that would give you enough time to follow up with 5A..possibly 5B, depending on the range that you are at. You'll have to grind a lot of waiting and being patient.

Dem Ragna nerfs
-
6A seems to float higher on hit. 5D looks like it has faster start up and recovery.
-
Uhm, for those of you who haven't seen this yet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjKK1rhHFlM&feature=plcp

Looks like the 6C hits similar to the way the previous games did, in terms of how far it launches. But the fact that it seems not to be dash cancellable anymore makes only for a 6C > 2D combo mid-screen, and 6C >6D combo in the corner, of some sort. Wow..Noel's 2D just stood out so much..Gonna need a decent anti-air to punish that shit. Thanks a lot for the feedback Menace. This Jin will take some getting used to.

Lol. The Joys of living in the UK.

Ugh..dude, i thought xlol was actually serious. What made it more believeable was the fact that i had an image in my head that maybe ice comes up from the ground and freezes their feet, then Jin does whatever as the command grab. Looking at the B ice car combos, i can't help but to be curious about how long the charge time is to get it fully charged..since you can do 3C > Max charge B Ice car. Sounds pretty amazing.

I'll hold you to that dude.

I'll be showing face...for once.
