  1. By "pressing buttons" i meant it more like mashing, apologies for not phrasing that well. Yup, spot on. Was trying j.2d, walked too close and its over. Now on another note about D's. I can't think properly where to throw them, because i get nervous.For example i might be airborn, as well as the enemy and throw a j.2d because....i don't know, can't think when they don't give me time to "relax". Was thinking to put all of this in the beginer's section, but i though someone here might have experianced the same problem an could give some tips on how to get over it. Worst of all, im loosing confidence that i can play that charachter from all this. Basically after some matches i felt dissapointed that i got punished from now knowing blockstrings (or the matchup), but couldn't punish the others for not knowing the matchup. Had troubles with a Noel mostly today. back to the topic, im basically looking for the most defensive-risk free thing to in order to get my game going. Didn't got to use counter assault, stupid me didn't want to spend that meter, will try it next time. On some other general questions regarding the subject In what situations would a instant 236A, right as the match starts benefit me? When to throw that gravity seed? In the past i used to dash at the oponents and go for 2B, while they dashed at me (and expected to backdash) but it seems to be working less and less, should i completely give up on it?

  9. This part actually seems like one of the most difficult things in the game to me Maybe its general experiance from fighting games that makes the curve steeper in new players. Never really considered her straight forward too. Sure the basic idea is to not let the other guy get in, but in my opinion the differences in the approaches you can take with the zoning, like different use of gravity seeds, baits and the amount of mind games involved makes her more complex :P

  17. Back to CP, sad to see they also ruined hakumen for me. Liked Haku i used to pick him between my lambda matches just for fun, but never really cared about learning him, i just loved this godamn counters so much. Epsecially Yukikaze. Half bar is up, insta-yukikaze. Now counters are nerfed and you can burst yukikaze Sure, might be good for the balance overall, just doesn't go with my tastes. Excited though about the remixes from Galneryus. Loved those guys from HxH 2nd ending. Daisuke is sure a god, but a bit of a variety won't do bad. Someone mind enlightenign me on the exact content of the Arcade versions of the games? Never really been to one and don't have a clue what they have. Story is there also, or is it console exclusive? Abyss mode, and other modes? Also don't really get how a good move that balances the charachters overall many weaknesses is supposed to classify Lambda as a cheap charachter but whatever...
  18. Well nothing official, but things point at that conclusion. Example, as someone noticed before the Amount of remixed tracks in CP (all old songs where supposed to get one) are 28 which is the exact number of CS songs - Awakening the chaos - Sword of doom -Bang a nail with your hammer. Other charachters seem to be more likely to be the new boss than the 2 murakumos or their succesors to me , and well the fact that we stll haven't heard them announced seems a big indication of the being gone forever (well at least CP) to me. You could say that they keep em secret to hype em, but well.....why try to hype a charachter that already existed and you......removed him? Seems kinda pointless.
  19. Seems that the charachter selection screen has 3 more spaces till it becomes completely symmetrical. Would guess Jubei, Phantom and the unanounced charachter, which i would guess from phase shift 4 is
  20. Well, they will be back for sure, the problem is when. I can see them coming in BBCP2 in like 6+ months or even in BB4 if Mori feels like trolling us some more. And yea, i believe they are stupid enough to just throw them away. Its ridiculous though, feels like spending a year trying to learn lambda was just for nothing.
  21. Pretty much this. Don't know about the rest of the Lambda players, but chronophantasma has somehow managed to kill my love for extend without even coming out. Haven't touched the game in nearly 2 weeks (never happened before) and i don't see myself touching it again anytime soon. Just can't practise if i know that there is a possibility (and pretty high) that my main and the only charachter i know how to play a little little bit won't be there and all this work will just go to waste.

  23. Yeah, i have that corner problem Im trying to get the balance right between throwing Ds (those damn things are double edged swords) and going to close range, but i find it the hardest part of Lambda's gameplay, im not the only one, right?
  24. Thanks for all the answers. I can't really react perfectly when the other guy rushes at me, most of the times it ends up with me throwing a 6D and he keeps running without jumping, or a whiff 5D due to him jumping at the right time, so i was wandering how big of a part this is and what are my alternatives. When i tried to play purely by reaction it ended up extremely bad, so i thought i would play more with 2B pokes or 4Bs and keep the swords for when i have 50 heat for counter assault so i don't get stuck in the corner.
