I accepted your invite when I saw it - notifications turned off - but the room was closed - and in all seriousness I had enough tager for one day

I actually really did stop caring by the time I started playing mu again - I only played her cause I knew you wanted to vs her - but really I was in no mood and it probably started to show. After awhile I just got salty and was like "bleh" after all my landed astrals I was still pissed - but coming back from UNIEL like... I was playing like shit - like shit - LIKE SHIT and it really pissed me off all the time. Im forgetting to air dash - to barrier block - all kinds of crap thats in BB but not in uniel and its making me rage pretty hard - im gonna need a few days to remember my crap. Really if I keep playing uniel Im gonna need to play them both side by side so I dont forget how to do either- fuck me not really - the games had lag spikes and I was still salty as shit from my long set with deadliest and literally doing jack effin squat right - to top it off my stick mysteriously died and nothing I did restored it until I restarted my ps3 - so lol it was one heck of a night that had me missing my chaos gameplay

I worked on any number of gameplay issues that I was aware of or made aware of. During slump periods I was surrounded mostly by players of similar skill levels or weaker as the "top players" or otherwise better players than myself had migrated. Badlime is correct in his assumption that you "just keep playing" but that in and of itself really isnt enough - you need to focus your efforts and pinpoint areas of weakness and correct them as best your able. I worked on things like the blocking aspect of defense, too many players think defense and automatically assume it means blocking and they are wrong - its just one aspect of it - albeit very important. I also used such times to work on combo proficiency and High Mobility aspect of defensive/aggressive play... I am most proud of my Stein Mastery and Origins development and understanding that I forced myself to learn throughout slump periods - so really there is alot- a shitton that you can in fact really work on and in all reality, only your own mind is the limit. I say so because of my development path that was considered rather unpopular in the "early days" when mu-12 had a more vibrant community - alot of the mu-12 players thought I was crazy and had really dumb ideas or etc (aka catch sparkbolt with The Origins) - and in some cases they were right, but that was for me to find out through persistent experimentation. (that so called dumb idea taught me the value of instant twitch reaction DP skill that I use to great effect today - to such extent that my tech is usually unusable for other mu-12 players due to the high demand of advanced DP defensive skill reaction usage that my tech requires.) Experimentation such as this allowed me to think for myself instead of conforming to a prescribed Mu-12 playstyle that might have stifled my growth. Im not saying completely disregard the knowledge of your mod's and fellow players, but that your own path of development can be equally important and enriching. I still credit C0R for much of my skill growth, and am extremely grateful for his particular brand of teaching, even though he and I play nothing alike, but he encouraged alot of inward thinking and "do-it-yourselfness". Aside from that though I still insisted upon developing "my way" which has taught me both good and poor lessons - thankfully with the assistance of more technical experts than myself I have been able to slowly eliminate some of those habits and become somewhat unique if I do say so myself. That unique approach of mine is non traditional and makes my style of play harder to adapt too. TL;DR - take advantage of the knowledge and know-how of other players and mods but remember to play the game your way so that you dont end up a cookie cutter representation of said character we've already seen a hundred times and know how to deal with.

I dont even know what GRD vorpal is - aside from noticing it from time to time - much less the conditions it requires... Is that why I see "bonus dmg" ? Orz...and here I thought I was helping
-
ahh snap! I was wondering about how we could use 66C! I assume this combo is midscreen or what? can it only be done using the 214c?
-
To those of you saying BB is dead or otherwise deserted : In the past several times when this happened, I used this opportunity to close the skill and system/game mechanics gap between myself and those who were considered "top players" at the time. Those were valuable periods for my development that I used to focus on a great number of all kinds of issues that I still had (and in some ways still do). So use this time to close the distance and become powerful instead of not...

I posted a video and combos and pressure information on the first page - go back and read it instead of asking ppl to spell everything out cause no one is going too. It sounds harsh but in all seriousness Chaos is not an easy character even by the slightest degree and no one is gonna spell everything out for you cause we are all trying to answer those questions optimally ourselves and Ive already found myself cursing the match ups more than a few times (a few times pretty loudly) more like J.236C the god if you ask me - ive won more games this way than I care to count - Psuedo Reversal power! --- side note - I discovered today in a match vs a Byakuya that our IW hits somewhat off the ground as he TK'd a spider web and I caught him in the air after his resource placement but before his Air dash. Dunno if anyone else has tested or seen this so like ctrl said - alot like Mizuchi but how High off the ground is the question atm Highest meterless corner combo dmg Ive managed is 5CC >5BB> J.(8)C> J.2C > J.B > land > 3C > 6C > 236B > 623B > 623A + oki ~3038 dmg With meter 5CC >5BB> J.(8)C> J.2C > J.B > land > 3C > 6C > 236B > 623B > 236C ~3500 dmg 5CC >5BB> J.(8)C> J.2C > J.B > land > 3C > 6C > 623A/B > 236B > 236C Consistent 3567 If it hits Eltnum and Linne it should hit everyone
-
Eltnum is waifuism <3 ggs to all the peeps tonight - chaos is fun but god is this dude hard lol I love his ass but real talk - i always noticed you in BB lobbies and such cause for some reason your name is really aesthetic but i dont even know you! lol
-
all this combo theory and talk is great but if you guys havent been mashing out his neutral and working with that your in for a world of hurt - seriously work on it cause holy shit does it feel like a steep learning curve. Especially against faster characters and rush down types - Im finding tho that ppl get really scared of moving around alot if your proficiency with mid/full screen Azhi is enough to catch them and do a few 1500 dmg combos (or even lower) youll cause ppl to respect WAY more than they like and second guess themselves - and foolish players will leave themselves open for full screen IW
-
his infinite worth? is that what they are called? is like his only reversal and it hits like instantaneously if they are mashing your wakeup etc
-
Ahzi is only vulnerable to attack when he is attacking and recovering from attacks - and the only effect is that he disappears briefly - but is summonable just like normal after the delay - I havent tested the exact frame data
-
It works just fine but you gotta ham the 236a > 236b > 6236 a/b I only know from literally mashing it out for 3-4 hours yesterday and you can EVEN get a 214a/b at the end of that combo if you are near the corner-ish if your 236a comes out too slowly after your 6c itll cause the 236b to wiff - HAM HAM - edit : actually in some cases a micro delay is necessary so that ahzi rises high enough for 6236b to land - this is the only part of the combo that I believe requires a delay you can also start with 5bb > 5c > j.b > ...... as your starter if your poking with 5b also dont be afraid to confirm with 2a at max range - ive tested it thoroughly and im pretty sure the combo is very stable - Ive yet to wiff it on a particular character's hurtbox Im sensing 2a max range confirm in neutral is pretty important....
-
Ive been studying that same video more and its proved quite helpful Neutral Tools to defeat and or pressure opponents http://youtu.be/rV_pUxXKD0c?t=22m28s he uses Ahzi alot in neutral and even tho 236a is woefully bad on wiff it can be used to great effect otherwise Jumping in neutral and use of Ahzi seems to be a preferred method and Im seeing alot of personal success with it J.236a > J.6236a > J.236B > J.6236b > J.214 [a] (this requires Ahzi to be close to the opponent) 2360 dmg 27.31 EX A more forgiving variant would be (and usable as an opening measure) : J.236a > J.236b > J.6236b > J.214b 1878 dmg 19.09 EX http://youtu.be/rV_pUxXKD0c?t=22m34s Ahzi behind them pressure (lets face it - its gonna happen) 236a > 236b (push them into you) 2a > 5bb >.... http://youtu.be/rV_pUxXKD0c?t=24m33s post zoning pressure 236a > 236b (wait) 236a > 236b >214a/b > 6236a >6236b http://youtu.be/rV_pUxXKD0c?t=25m30s Im getting a really strong feeling that veil break is a necessary mechanic for us 236a > 6236a (i believe he's using this route to compensate for the other player DPing thru ahzi 214a/b pressure) delay > 236a > 6236a > 214a/b > delay > 214a/b > 236b > 22a/b(i dunno which he would use? I would guess A) > dash in > 2a >2a > 2b > 5a > dash in grab also for ahzi pressure / oki you can charge his 214a/b for a dual fireball effect and use of azhi relative position a good example of this is 236a > 6236a (or 236b) > 214 [a]/
-
So I gotta ask - is learning his neutral and stuff like..... insanely hard for everyone or just me? cause man I am having just a really hard time with him in neutral - no thanks to BB habits like up backing and trying to barrier .... but seriously against Linne's and other fast characters Im feeling really disarmed - AAing is BITCHIN hard Im finding my best hope is 236b or 66b but damn that timing
-
assuming UNIB doesnt die off and after playing Hyde and auto pilot winning for like 70 games - Im gonna throw my self through the chaos wringer. He just looks really fun and I really like his style (if UNIB is at evo next year maybe Ill cosplay him eh?) Im in for a world of hurt but here we go please share what knowledge you can find about his optimals and such - I think this guy is just too cool to not play serious Edit : instead of begging mindlessly im gonna post a few videos and try to reference what youve told us a bit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV_pUxXKD0c this is a single match were I think the player does well with 6C usage in spacing and to defeat projectiles i see some good examples of the 2a 2b tech trap as well http://youtu.be/rV_pUxXKD0c?t=24m57s (same video) this is a great example of what I hope to be considered an optimal - starting with his pressure and leading into a 2a combo here are the inputs (i think) : 2a 2b 2c 5cc j.b j.c j2.c 2c 6c 236a 236b 6236a/b 2576 dmg and 48.06 Ex Gauge It can be followed up with the 214C EX ender for 3101 dmg and a hard knockdown- not bad ! im also seeing alot of 236a > 6236a/b in neutral
-
man I am having way too much fun with this game - ggs to amentoraman (sp?) byakuya is literally the most hilarious character ive ever fought against - from his give no fucks opener to his "NEEEEE SAAAAAAN GOOOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN" death throws srsly tho his ne-san is very bangable holy shit balls - why does EVERYONE play Nanase seriously???
-
When you stop "playing for fun" and discover the more complicated aspects of the game and utilizing those resources and etc... you'll find that you end up "making it fun" especially after you see the fruits of your labors blossom wonderfully @ Herodyne - it was some how better? anyhow you got full flavor today - minus my ragna - and omg i spend literally every match with jin trying to yukikaze your SB but i was just too retarded to get it right rofl, no matter how well I do it usually
-
also @ mac - can we use this for uniel GG thread? is there even one yet?
-
sure - i can play characters besides mu tho - do you mind? Its true - Im about as Politically correct as Hitler on Ice
-
speaking of games - Ill be getting on before the mandatory UNIEL download - does anyone in particular want me to hammer em? or better yet satisfy my masochistic side and hammer me? also rofl guys seriously
-
Is this even a GG thread anymore? maybe we should just rename the thread at this point lol WHAT HAVE I DONE
-
Subject marked for Termination I'll prioritize your status then ( sound good? ) be sure to give me your best effort too
-
I shoulda mentioned this earlier but - and as my final act of stroking mac's ego - During the height of our games he would out perform me more than 2-1 some sets had me wallowing with a 1-3 win ratio - so yea - pages of notes on mac - He really embodied hakumen for our games - pretty fucking frightening - my only hope really was to lose myself In Mu-12~ and document everything she encountered - like she totally would. It became my mission to terminate him and exceed his abilities - kind of like an obsession. So if you guys are lacking that kind of maddening driving force - find it! there done
-
You guys need to keep in mind that when I write up these things its usually meant just for me to read them. They are often written in my attempt to "see it through her eyes", and my interpretations of how she would see it ( alot of the notes are NOT nice and aimed to sound both "computerized" and "haughty" as per my understanding of Mu's observation of others... The observer, The False Hero, The black beast, The black sussano'o.... ). The VERY CONDENSED write up I had posted for mac sounded flattering only because of the great difficulty that came after literally hundreds of games and his unyielding adaptation to my style, thus making each encounter a new experience - and something new to document and to be aware of for in the future. MOST SUBJECTS DO NOT MANAGE THIS and this is something Ive never experienced against another player (no matter their skill) with him as the only exception. You can ask Mac what our games were often like and the Kind of language I used to "Request him to play" and "Post Victory niceties". I dont mind too much sharing my notes - just be aware that while I, myself, am a helpful guy and wana see you all improve - when I connect (as funky as that sounds) with my idea of Mu-12 and actually fight and document - the entire point is to inflame weakness, frustrate, and create a hopeless situation for the opponent. Im not gonna document anything like "this guy is super awesome and we are buddies" its all about how I can demoralize and breakdown (mentally) the Subject marked for Termination. That being said - while I document many - if not everyone I encounter ... if theres nothing notable about their play that would inhibit my attempts to do... anything - then there wont be much to see - aside from player propensities and how I punish their attempts to adapt or see what Im trying to do If you ask for it your probably gonna get it (except Kubel) - I assume we arent children in here and you can take it (maybe) The statement suggests your little more than an online training dummy - this was back in CSE since I have no documentation on you in CP You were observed like everyone else I've faced
-
Thats a serious overstatement - srsly oh no prblm but today was kinda more about me than anything else so lol I didnt offer much / think much about your play Hopefully you managed to glean some enhancement from them
