  1. For the hitboxes alone I would use them. It will be fun to zone and annoy people with Lotus. :3
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AooJpFvUdE&feature=youtu.be&t=2h44m58s rape combo yaaay
  3. That^ But you can still practice the j2c combo if you feel like it. It doesnt seem to be her signature combo route anymore but it may still be important.
  4. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dThiY7i2T3U&t=2h14m44s Painful combo. I wonder if that "stuff j2c 2a 6a 4b jc Sword Iris Baden Baden Lily" is also possibly from other combo starters.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crS_wi6Bbjs&t=34m28s I don't know if this has been posted, but I find this j.A j.A j.C j.B combo looking quite funny. It barely does any damage (1500?) but it corner carries and ends in 6c oki. It reminds me a bit of her CS2 combos, only this one is less effective. A few seconds later Litchi tries it again in the corner but she fails to hit the 6c.
  6. Oops! I actually wrote Americas first but then realised that was already covered in the word 'also', so I hastily changed in to Africas :P. I meant Africa of course. Well, it's still not entirely known who and what Ragna exactly is so it makes sense not to reveal his birthplace yet. Valkenhayn may also come from Transylvania like Rachel, even though iirc some of Rachel's a reference to ancient (German? I don't remember) mythology, yet she's Romanian because she's a vampire. Apparently all non-sparkling vampires must come from Transylvania. I couldn't disagree any more. This game's story needs more praise imo, it has a very decent story and I find the characters very well-written. The concept is, even though it's sometimes a bit too confusing, is handled well enough despite it being used in many stories before. Most of it is still understandable, there's just an occasional completely unexplained mind-fuck that could have been told about more clearly. Then again, it keeps the story a bit mysterious, having a predictable plot that doesn't evoke any thinking is what truly makes you bored quickly. I think the Blazblue's strong points lie more in its characters though.
  7. Not interesting enough I guess. There's also no one from the Africas, Middle East, Oceania... basically everywhere that's not West-Europe and East-Asia is not included.
  8. Jin comes from England. Noel comes from Switzerland. Rachel comes from Transylvania (Romania). Taokaka comes from her Kakaland. Litchi comes from Shanghai. Carl comes from Austria. Tsubaki comes from the 3rd Hierarchical city. Platinum comes from the 9th Hierarchical city. Relius comes from the 2nd Hierarchical city. Nu comes from the 13th Hierarchical city. Mu comes from the 13th Hierarchical city (but she's Noel now anyway). All the others are unknown (Bang's I just couldn't read...somethingland). :3
  9. Looks pretty cool but doesn't seems like they will be any follow-ups Nice matches though, Galileo yaaaaay 42:40 staff launch 6A (on airborne Taokaka) 6B worked. Pretty minor thing, but Im quite sure this wasn't possible in CS.
  10. Or people who care about character design, its relation to the story and like to talk about why they like or, in this case, dislike it. Does this also go for signatures? If yes, I would like to say that your sig is the most retarded one ever. :l (If no I have said it anyway)
  11. I can't say much about Noel and on this point I agree with you, but Litchi and Tsubaki I find two very interesting characters. People like to say that Tsubaki has been 'brainwashed' but I'd rather call her indoctrinated. From a very young age, she has been taught about serving the Imperator, the NOL, order, justice etc. These have become her norms and her values in which she thinks, just like we think in our morals and values. I see Jin not only as her love interest, but also as an interruption or 'break' in her normal life. Jin was someone she could be a child with, she could forget about etiquette for a while, call him Jin-niisama instead of Kisaragi-san, she could be a bit more free, it's like a whole other for her... Now couple that with her romantic feelings for Jin, no wonder she's so attached to him. Or at least, that's how I see it. Secondly, I find it a bit strange you only mention Jin as a reason of becoming a 'psychopath', if anything the cause of her change of heart is her devotion to the Imperator and not (only) her Jin-niisama. I find it ironic that you say no one can emphatize with them when there a lot of people on this world who are exactly like, if not worse than, she is. Tsubaki is the depiction of an extremist, in this case an extremist with moral struggles who started doubting some of her beliefs and tried to fight them even, only to afterwards follow them even more drastically than she already did after seeing her God: The Imperator. Litchi is a completely different story and many people seem to dislike her story but I don't understand why... imo she's one of the saddest characters in the game whose trying to make up for the mistakes she has made by taking risks while attempting not to do any further damage. She's very stubborn and the question is whether that's a good thing or not. Isn't one of the lessons Ragna's story has been trying to teach: 'no matter how bloody or no matter how bad things are looking for you, don't ever give up' (Rachel said something like this)? We are looking down on Ragna because his story has ended and it has had a good end because he continued fighting. That's great right, despite everyone telling him NOT to fight Terumi because there's simply no possibility he could win. This actually sounds a bit similar to Litchi's situation, except she's much more assured that there MUST be something to cure her and her adventure has not ended yet, so she's still fighting. There's actually more I'd like to say about her (I find her quite an interesting character) but I'm tired and I'm just going to spare it (for now). :P
  12. Oops, I meant 6D XD I didn't know she could do that already though.
  13. Dunno if this has been said already but you can combo off [m] 6A on a standing opponent it seems. www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8fvCyTPwYU&feature=youtu.be&t=9m18s yaaaay
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGGOen5o1Yc&t=10m28s Footage of 6b CH not wallbounding anymore. 13:00 of the same vid: Kokushi 'hitting' on block... lol.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1nT9MIgOao#t=29m9s 4B > Lobelia > Frog seemed to work here but he didn't finish it with 3c for some reason. don't mind the last part.
  16. Yes, I'm pretty 100% sure it doesn't wallbound anymore (vs aerial opponents it still wallbounces). I can't find the vids now but I saw it in a vs. Rachel and vs. Hazame vid. It just stuns them now. 6b[m] CH 6c works.
  17. And It looks really hard to follow up now...
  18. Probably not so useless. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DWP1RHZaG8 1:33 ---> Look at how high it launches them! There's definitely some potential here. Powerful horizontal wind might also really help against zoning a character like Ragna.
  19. In Litchi's ending, she also kneels before Rachel. Amane doesn't kneel but Rachel appears in his ending. Our princess seems to be even more involved to the plot now...
  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-AFUhZhjW8&feature=plcp 0:16 3C seems to have less lag on block? Im not sure. 2:20 Opponent drops really fast after Kokushi, probably because of the changed gravity properties. 2:27 Itsuu (A) on block will still keep the staff instead of throwing it out (Calamity Trigger style). In one of the other vids Im pretty sure 6B counter only stunned them and it didn't wallbound (vs aerial opponents it seems to wallbounce as seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snExQuqJvQk&list=PLYFWn979A--ohnReEq_NW-2Zz8WKGevP-&index=4&feature=plpp_video) These are only some of the many changes I have seen... In one of the earlier Locetest vids one Litchi did that air grab 2B anti-air Itsuu A and it connected. Dont know wheter it's still in.
  21. I hope they change the input for All Green. They won't but I can still hope.
  22. Exactly (hence why I said supposed to be, in case somebody missed it). From the outside, she seems like a very admirable woman. She is loved by Bang, looked up to by Linhua, she is one of the very few adults that Carl actually likes, in Platinum's story mode she shows she can handle children very well which makes Jubei stand in awe, in her bad ending it is shown that Kokonoe cares for her and last but not least, Taokaka just can't stop touching her. When it comes to character relationships, Litchi is possibly the most liked character in the cast. But like you said, she is very flawed. She loses all rationality when it comes to one particular person: Lotte Carmine. Whenever he shows up, everything goes wrong and other side shows. She's being consumed by her determination and her hope. But then again, when you really, really want something or even MUST get something, aren't you supposed to go for it? To never give up, whatever it takes? We praise Ragna for his stubbornness and his perseverance, everobody told him to give up but he continued. In general we praise people for determination, but is it justified? In Ragna's case it apparently is, in Litchi's case it isn't... it seems as if we can only judge after their success. I find all characters in Blazblue interesting and well-written, but I find Litchi an exceptionally interesting and deep character because of these kind of struggles. Because, IMO, the more perfect she looks like, the better, because it makes for a hideous contradiction. I like how you cited that Tager part because there it gets stressed how good of a life she actually has (and her characteristics, being amazing and stuff, show this even more) and he is warning her not to throw it away so easily. Also, her boobs serve as comic relief. Makoto's beauty, on the other hand, doesn't have any connection to her storyline since she doesnt have to look amazing or anything. That said I find her story great and I don't mind her having her two friends either. When I see someone like Bullet, however, I'm just getting a bit tired of skimpy characters. We already have two of them, couldn't they think of anything else now? It's like seeing a NOL uniform for the sixth time. Im making it seem like a bigger problem than it actually is though, it's barely a problem or anything, but I just would have like to see a bit more original design and less boob for her. Dress less to impress is so 2007.
  23. Litchi is a different story though because it fits her character. She is supposed to be the perfect woman. She's beautiful, kind, intelligent, strong, determined, gets drunk on occasion and she has many more good qualities, yet for that one thing that is lacking in her life, she is willing to sacrifice it all. Once you get past the fan service you realize there is more to it than just prettiness. Even I though I don't know Bullet's story, other than fan service I can't explain Makoto's and Bullet's enormous boobs. Possibly it's an animal thing?
  24. Oh god please don't say this... Aaaaaargh DX Well it's still early, gonna hope that she just changed much and needs a different play-style in order to be effective. Or something like that. It's too early...
  25. Really, Shinsou was awful though. At least I didn't find it fitting for the opening (except for the first 10 seconds), it didn't pump me up at all not was it dramatic. Whether the song is bad or not is a different matter. CT had the best opening + song imo
