  1. Well, Nu's damage is looking pretty good. I'm surprised it's better than Lambda's. Anyone know if it was possible for Nu/Lambda to get 4k off 2B starters midscreen without meter in BBCS/EX? I seem to remember it was possible for her to do 2B > 4B crouching hit confirm if you used gravity. I think this version is a lot better since she will have gravity up regardless and the combos have solid knockdown plus she can do it vs a standing opponent.
  2. GGs to BatousaiJ. It's been awhile since I've played a Yosuke and you were really good. If you want to play again sometime I'm always down. Thanks to you having a 3 bar connection, I can play Shadow Mitsuru
  3. GGs to the both of you. I had a lot of fun.
  4. Those aren't really crouching specific since she can do the same thing against a standing opponent. Crouching specific would be CH 2A > 5AA > 5B > sweep > droit B. Most times vs Mitsuru your opponent will be blocking low. She can't force the opponent to go from standing to crouching with any of her normals. If she could, I'd assume she'd be too powerful. So basically, you have to react to those rare crouching hit confirms. Sometimes I get a crouching hit like 25% of the time. Most ways I get crouching hit confirms is off people trying to sweep Mitsuru's 5A, she can 2A or 5B in those situations. Against Ken you will want to kill the Dog when possible. Ken is pretty bad with anti-air so you can jump if you wish. For instance 5C kills Koro instantly, unfortunately Mitsuru can't cancel into anything unless Ken blocks it. On the plus side he doesn't have the dog so his pressure will suck. Something to think about. Also, I think roll is fairly useful in this match-up because of how much recovery Ken has on his specials, it's something you'll need to read. Perhaps I'll ask LK and see if he has any insight on the match-up.
  5. GGs to everyone in PhantomIndex's room. Lots of fun.
  6. GGs to TatsumiStyle, aya2aya33, Robyn. Fun times were had. I really wish I could use S.Mitsuru more, but alas, netplay has forsaken me.
  7. Neutral game is pretty tough to win versus Mitsuru. I think she wins neutral against most characters except zoners. And in that case she just has to play patient and get the zoner into her range. She's weak close range, so try and take advantage of that. Not sure. I tend to play Yu's pretty passively since they're unpredictable and their neutral game is slightly better. But yeah, I feel you about the near-perfect losses part. It happens to me sometimes.
  8. GGs to you as well. You're the first S.Narukami I played and our connection wasn't that bad for 1 bar. Also GGs to TheHitmarkerspro since you didn't one and done me. I'll see if I can get on more often. Seems people don't have a lot of Mitsuru experience.
  9. I hope you know, Yu is in crouching state after 214C, which is a position for Mitsuru to do soviet damage. It's up to you if you want to take that risk. If you want to IB something, IB Mitsuru's sweep. Yu's 5A is quick enough to get a counter hit. I also don't think 214C just to beat Mitsuru's 5A is the best of ideas since Yu has a lot better tools at his disposal.
  10. I'm wondering if Nu can do a delayed Crescent and when she lands do 2B or 3C at about the same time the Crescent hits. It would be similar to Yukiko doing 2D and 2A in the corner.
  11. GGs to you as well. GGs to everyone else I played.
  12. 5C depends on where you do it from. Midscreen, just do 5C > dash cancel > 6B > 2B > etc. For the corner I tend to do 5C > droit B > 2A > 2B > etc, probably not optimal but easier for me. You may want to do 5C > 5B > sweep > droit B/SB. Tentarafoo is situational. If the opponent blocks it, I don't think it's negative, there's just a lot of distance so the opponent can't do much afterwards. I don't think it's any good as a frame trap when you have things like 5B to do that for you. Tentarafoo is pretty slow and doesn't lead into damage. Sure they're confused, but they can just block correctly if they don't panic. Either way, I sometimes use Tentarafoo just because I like how it looks. Some situations where Tentarafoo could work. Adachi doing 5D. Marie doing a present. Naoto shooting. Yukiko tossing two fans. Yu doing lightning car. Sho/Minazuki tossing knives. Rise being Rise.
  13. I just do 2C and wait for them to break out of the ice. Since Mitsuru at max 5A range is pretty good. I decide what to do from there. Usually, it's just baiting their roll or DP.
  14. GGs to Antlquarian and PhandomIndex's player rooms. I had a lot of fun doing random things.
  15. I would play you, but our connection isn't that great from what I remember.
  16. Yeah, I had a feeling she might be able to combo off the delayed crescent without meter. Leads to a strong midscreen combo if it lands. Personally, I liked the corner combos that had 6C into 214D. I guess the short 214D doesn't have SMP with the longer versions. Nu looks good imo.
  17. Try this: http://horibuna.web.fc2.com/BBCP/index.html
  18. Kinda cool but Nu can cancel gravity into parser. Also Supra is a legit combo extender. They made it easier to combo from it. http://youtu.be/2GVx6XCSFHI?t=11m27s Pretty funny. Nu's drives actually ate through Tager's projectile armor. Not sure if practical, spacing and all. Might be different if Tager used the B sledge for instance. http://youtu.be/2GVx6XCSFHI?t=13m2s
  19. From what I've seen, Nu appears to be more flexible. She can do 4 reps, I think Lambda still has the 3, plus Nu can cancel her drive moves into one another, even back cancel them, i.e 5DD > 4DD > 5DD or 6DD > 5DD > 6DD. Nu is also the superior zoner since gravity has a shorter cooldown and she can pick you apart at a distance. Nu probably has legit 3k damage combos fullscreen. Lambda is about oki, mix-up, baits, and damage. She's also a good zoner, she just can't control the field that easily because she lacks a quick gravity and fullscreen spike chaser. They both have a lot of room to grow. I honestly can't wait to see how they fare a month from now. Edit: Actually, I just checked out some Lambda videos and her gravity on whiff has the same recovery as Nu does.
  20. So Exiga Nail > 236C > 5C > 6C > 236D might be a thing for a mid screen throw bait. It's easy to imagine how she could optimize that combo.
  21. The cooldown is a second shorter now, so she can reasonably do that. I suppose it depends on how long it lasts now. But she should have good up-time with it. There aren't very many situations where not having projectile lv2 on the second hit matters. She tends to poke with the first hit of her drives. The time between 5D and 5DD or any of her other follow-ups is pretty quick. She would need to stagger it for a long time and the opponent decides to do some kind of projectile. I'm not even sure if there's a projectile that works in that situation. Maybe Jin tossing out ice sword for whatever reason. And even in that case it will clash, so not much of a punish. As far as I'm aware, she could only cancel 6C and her ground drives into Act Parser. She can cancel her specials into gravity on hit now though.
  22. Is the 214D~C the fast one? I forget how it works now. Also, yeah, I haven't seen 4B. Makes me wonder if she still has it. Then again there weren't a ton of opportunities for those Nu players to use it. I'm also wondering if anything combos off air hit counter 4D. I saw the Nu players get that a few times and I was curious. Perhaps 6D, the hit confirm seems difficult though.
  23. Don't tell me Nu is looking scary again. Well, she's always been scary, but Yandere levels of scary. That's sweet. Also yeah, I can totally see her being beyond annoying now. She can cancel any of those drives into a special, say 236D, and cancel that into 214C to be safe and control the screen. There's also the parcers ha. She seems pretty promising. 4 rep drives might be the best thing ever. Ah, I didn't know it was only 1 hit for projectile lv2. Good to know. Though the first hit is the most important.
  24. Well, I'm not a Mu main, but the obvious change will be the Mu vs Nu/Lambda match up. Since the lasers don't go fullscreen, Nu/Lambda is much better at neutral as a result. Also Tager and Hakumen can get in and do things. So it'll make things easier for them as well as other slow characters. I could see her having trouble with fast characters, Tao, Valk, etc. Also characters who control neutral really well, like Hazama and Rachel, might be rough as well. Hard to say since new stuff all around.
  25. Don't charge the second 2B.
