  1. So I've come to the realization that my noel mixup is ass. I have no problems punishing people for big damage or anything...but in terms of pressuring someone who is more than decent defensively...I suck >_> Advice to be a better offensive Noel or should I just go back to CS1 style and start fishing for 2k combos on offense while punishing people for their unsafenessness with 4k combos...
  2. I'm more intrigued on how he has nothing but beverages and peanuts. It's like he's stocking for an airplane or something
  3. ^ This is basically what I've been using as a corner BNB.
  4. Needs moar Chie and Aigis
  5. That would be awesome actually...
  6. jump cancel with 9 instead of 8. I was only hitting like a third of my j2c's before because I jump canceled with 8 almost all the time. Now that I do it with 9 I pretty much don't miss them unless I'm derping
  7. Thanks Moy...now I have time to level up my plat >_>
  8. ...I was unaware Rachel ever cried...
  9. Meh I suppose, but there is no way beginner would fly at what I consider "mid level play" due to no bursting, no real mixup considering moves are predetermined, and the lack of freedom to even do combos or certain normals...
  10. Don't ever use stylish if you want to be anything beyond a complete beginner. Stylish is literally a renamed beginner mode. If you're having problems with the quarter circle motion on pad you need practice. Like execution practice. Like sitting in training mode and trying until you get it right. Iunno how much GG or SF you played, but unless you played a charge character or you didn't really play beyond learning basic moves you shouldn't be having problems with those motions. I know you're just trying to be decent but seriously...all of that fighting game experience should make QCFx2 a joke...like i'm really confused by this. It's even more confusing because, considering the frame buffer, BB is executionally easier than the fighters you listed in both basic and high level situations. I think you just need to hit the lab and grind out those QCF motions... Saying "I can't do quarter circle on pad" "Buy a joystick" makes little sense because it's an executional issue and he's not at a level nor is he trying to get to a level where a joystick is worth the money or even necessary. If you can handle Millia and Dizzy combos BB should seriously be a joke. Play Ragna. Mess around. Get your execution straight. But never switch to stylish if you want to be anything but casual. That's my 2 cents.
  11. It was something someone said to me that I didn't believe and they used the garbage BB wiki to support it. I don't believe anything on that site that I haven't seen myself but it made me wonder. Thanks though.
  12. But I mean because she lost the Takamagahara status doesn't she now have the choice to do so? Like she did in her alternate ending path? And is she weaker? I know I'm asking a lot so thanks >_>
  13. I'm way better with 6c 22c this time around but I can't seem to get the hang of the other timings...and I definitely need a combo update from CS2, especially with all of the new item properties. Loving altering bomb trajectory though.
  14. Ok I'm a little bit confused... So I'm playing through Makoto's story and get to the end where Rachel is. Makoto asks Rachel her name and Rachel says: Just an Observer... First I'm like: wtf she isn't an Observer anymore, Takamagahara took away her job as an Observer. Then I remember that she's Observing Hakumen. So I rewatch the beginning of the Continuum Shift storyline to see the exact area where they took her job away. And after watching the scene...it literally seems like she chose to not be an Observer anymore. They asked why she used the Tsukuyomi Unit and offer her the position of Observing the Boundary, to which she refuses. After losing her Observer status and the timeline diverging, it seems as if in CS there is a Rachel in every divergent timeline, as opposed to CT Rachel who lived through and gained knowledge and experience from each time loop on her own as one Observing being. But isn't Rachel one of the beings that NEED to be Observed in the first place? Like Hakumen and Hazama. It's not that big of a deal to me because if anyone would be observing her it would be Valkenhayn but...why does an Observer need to be Observed? Also...does she still have the Tsukuyomi unit? A number of (ridiculous and non credible) sources say that after she lost her Observer job she lost a substantial amount of her fighting power. Personally in the story I see no difference because Terumi still expresses that they're about even in CS and uses Nine (the only present sorcery user stronger than her and Kokonoe as far as we know) to capture her instead of killing her himself (and she still trolls him all the way to the end in her Alternate Ending path). I understand that being an Observer of Time Loops gives her a certain status but did it increase her actual fighting ability in any way, and did losing that status make her lose her status as one of the (story wise) higher tier characters in Blazblue?
  15. umm...http://www.youtube.com/user/ValliereVee She says herself that she recorded all of her roles again for Extend...
  16. new gatling speed = wow
  17. Oh I'm sorry...I'd rather you be alive and me not play you...
  18. Luna we were supposed to play a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago
  19. Hey... Some of you may have played me online before. I'm a Noel/Litchi/Rachel player who subbed Lambda up until CS2 when Plat came out. She's tons of fun and I learned 22c timings for the most part so she's my new sub. I never really posted on Plat forums before but I hope to learn a lot from you guys and some of you have helped me already. See you around.
  20. ooo sarcastic salt...
