  1. Why are people assuming she is going to get nerfed? She has big damage yes but she also has no meterless reversal. She has to maintain offense to do anything of note which may or may not work given her slow normals. She's good but squishy and has flaws. People are just getting a little too excited about damage.

  4. It's not bad at all. Literally with dash normals just keep in mind you shouldn't be touching the dpad/stick when you're hitting the button for the normal
  5. ^ I see the necessity of it, but not in a combo thread. We don't have a general "learn Litchi from scratch" topic anymore.
  6. The second is usually the ticket with a lot of j.C j.D combos with particular starters. Going into j.D off of the first hit of j.C is almost always best.
  7. How different would you guys say Rachel feels from her previous iterations? From the videos I've seen and info I've been reading it seems like combo wise this is her biggest departure but she still adheres primarily to her high low mixup and similar zoning, as well as the game's different "weight" (in a sense the game is...heavier than other iterations of BB). I'm primarily asking because I play Noel and Litchi and plan on playing Kokonoe. Rachel was a previous sub of mine from CS1 through Extend but I only took her seriously in CS2. Playing 4 characters (especially characters that different) tends to throw me off and...I want to be good with all of them. My Rachel was pretty bad honestly but I don't want to gimp my Noel and Litchi (and eventual Kokonoe) with another playstyle. How far does she depart from the previous Rachel formula?

  9. Out of curiosity how are we notating OD combos (in terms of OD length and stuff like that certain combos won't work so...yeah)? So far I've basically been going through combo videos and old matches trying to find practical things that work on most characters...just to make a note in addition to Murakumo and Amane hitboxes, Terumi, Makoto and Relius (in addition to some of the other obvious characters) have somewhat "skinny" hurtboxes as well in terms of "problem" characters...I have no idea why I was expecting Terumi's hurtbox to be any thicker than Hazama's... Also I'm pretty sure everyone is remembering this but don't forget: On every character you can confirm at least 4k with 50 heat off of a 6B simply from 6B 5D d.5C d.6C d.5C d.6C 236D(1) RC 214A I know it's already been mentioned but it's something I've definitely been relying on lately...

  14. Also another question: Does anyone know which characters the drive pickup from j.D doesn't work on? From sj.C j.D standard seems to be d.6C d.2D d.6B but so far on Relius and Terumi I've had to use d.5C instead of d.2D
  15. I think d.4D goes into d.6C but it's situational and I don't remember the specifics. I definitely recall seeing re-stand combos using d.4C to bring the opponent from crouching to standing so that d.4C d.6C 214A can be done instead of spending 50 meter on 236D RC 214A...but IIRC that combo starts from crouching so that kinda defeats the purpose of that knowledge...
  16. You have a point. I just think it'll be funny for commentators. Also I feel a certain kind of way with there being a Shadow Aigis and no Metis but I have to remember its from a completely gameplay standpoint. Someone else pointed out to me how Shadow Yu doesn't even make any sense...
  17. SLab may not have a shadow version but if regular labrys does then there will be two shadow labryses. "Shadow Labrys" and "Shadow" Labrys...

  19. Your way is technically more efficient because it saves 50 meter in the long run which leaves more possibilities...
  20. s/o to Mohawk's video about Black Spot C punishing btw. For the SMP part I'm pretty sure you can avoid SJCing if you do an extra jump in between jA and jC for people who struggle with SJCing...
  21. I came up with another SMP today...It stems from an idea for getting in hits from Shio's SMP. Shio's was midscreen, my version goes into corner and gets in 4 236B 236B reps 214C fatal (236236A) -> Microdash 5C IAD jBB 2B jA jC OMB (dash under) Sweep 236236A 5B 236B 236B 5C [236B 236B]x3 214C (or D i guess...) 236236D Does like 8.4k and more practical than my other one but less original... Also is it weird that I can do all of these combos and even make ones up but I can't get backdash 5C combos >_> What is the timing of those? Since BBCP isn't coming out till forever I decided to level up my ass Chie. Someone teach me how to do her main fatal combo plz...
