Anyone running this game on Swap Magic? Actually purchased or ripped, I don't care, I just want to know if it works on Swap Magic. It doesn't for me, though I'm starting to think that's my PS2 being goddamn retarded.

I ask because I'll be getting it ASAP, so I want to know when other people are getting theirs. I thought NCSX did like 3-day shipping at worst, wouldn't you get it like Monday or at the worst (I'm assuming stuff for Monday) Wednesday?

Nice! Good to see a match vid where Dizzy wins, and not only that, 3 times! I'm actually liking AC Dizzy. It's much the same situation as Baiken and ABA, where there is stuff gone, but I didn't do any of it anyway, so it doesn't affect me and all I get is gain.

Haha, well, multiple characters for each answer would be nice. He's actually good at stuff in general, more or less, and he's more of a fast character player (for example, he plays Yang in 3S). He tried Potemkin and couldn't stand it. He had fun with him for like 5 minutes, then he was like "ok this sucks." He doesn't like Chipp either, haha. From what I can tell, he's ok with medium length combos, slight amount of learning, but DESPISES FRCs entirely. RCing is fine since it requires no timing, though.

Ok, random questions so my brother can pick a character he can enjoy. Please answer them separately from each other, not all as one. Who's the easiest character to learn? Who's the least FRC reliant character? Who's the least combo-reliant character? Thanks for answers in advance.

I got mine from eBay, I tried an online store but they randomly canceled my order. Probably the reason they still HAVE the game. There's always the obvious downloading option, but good luck finding it up for download...

I picked up Mariah. She's so much fun, because my brother plays Abdul so I can be all "lol outlet" and he's all "RAWR MAGICIAN'S RED" and I'm just like "haha wtf it hit my outlet. Combo time."

I actually own a PS1 copy of GG1. I have no idea where it is, but I know for a fact I still have it. Very fun to play for a little bit and laugh at how different it is from the rest of the series. Overstylish indeed. I love Zato's super in that game, and Baldhead is awesome.

Yeah, I REALLY don't see why, y'know, they seem to look at what people are doing and change it based on previous changes (like the removal of Sol dustloops and the addition of Sidewinder so you can do similar but weaker stuff), but we all say Dizzy sucks so they make her worse and remove anything she had.

I have a decent amount of completely random shit, since I'm super-indiscriminate about characters to download and just delete stupid or worthless characters if they are really worth deleting. I have XI Oswald, Ash, and I think Vanessa? I wouldn't mind seeing a list of XI characters you have.

That's pretty great. It's what I wish my poster was. I was tempted to do one that just says "BLOODPACK - OH FUCK." Then I realized it wasn't very funny and bloodpacks aren't even that much of a threat because she still needs to set even that up.

THIS GAME GOT ME INTO LAST BLADE 2 I'm looking for Isabeau, anyone have her and can send her to me? Evil Ken would also be very nice, as I can't seem to find that either. Aside from those two, any recommendations? I'm staying away from GG characters for the time being, as I don't have an adapter and I can't play them on the keyboard.

Since it just occured to me, y'know those grab supers? Such as Dio's blood-sucking thing (it's not in the PS1 version)? Is it just me or is Iggy's the only really useful one, since it seems to be unblockable? Dio's is blockable, Midler's is easy to jump away from (although good in mixup because jumping away from the car super seems to usually lead to pain), and I can't think of many other ones. There's Joseph's, but that also seems to be a lot less useful due to being a 360 input. Also, I play Jotaro, Dio and Hol Horse plus a little bit of Joseph because I needed to unlock Young Joseph (wasn't worth it. )

This game is amazing and this thread needs more discussion. Am I the only one who ever hit Dio's famous timestop combo in a real match? Because it feels AWESOME and humiliates VERY well.

Snake Badguy is lame because it's way too obvious. Waaaaaaaaay too obvious. Giraffe Badguy would actually be pretty funny but DEFINITELY not Snail level. Bird Badguy is damn lame. I mean come on. Even Snake Badguy can fly, what with the undulating and all.
