So Relius was never in CH state during j.D/5D? I haven't played BB in ages, but I do recall getting CH'd when I used those in neutral against Lambda, for example. Seems kinda silly that they won't let you get CH'd during those moves then. edit: maybe this is new to CP then? Relius got CH'd from his 5D.

I'd agree in saying IAD is 956/754. I dunno, at least that's how I do it. 5D wall bounce on counter hit and Fatal, however the CH combo is the same as the regular 5D combo. FC lets you do an additional garu. Naoto is pretty easy to combo because you can just do [2] when using d.garu on her. Same goes for Liz, Yosuke, S.lab/lab, and Akihiko. Lol @ Omni, let's not throw matches with Mamudoon lol. But I'm actually gonna play this game when I get out of school today; I'm gonna try and find some tech. Been out of the lab too long because of Lollipop Chainsaw & watching NEC all day.

Yu's Sj.214B beats maragidyne clean, real talk. Doesn't mean that Omni is wrong though, if they don't know how to deal with it, use it by all means. Also lol @ Naoto, getting gunshots for free, as well as EX countering everything full screen. j.B garu loops only add an additional garu in most cases (which is like 250-300 extra dmg). They're a tad harder, but worth it if you like optimal combos.

I always subbed Relius, but I always thought it was hard to play him without many JPN heroes to base my gameplay on. I eventually found out some shit on my own, but I could never really get Relius to work like I wanted him to. I always had issues getting 5D when I wanted 6D when I'd do a blockstring like 5B > 2B > 6D. So much salt from missing that and getting 5D . Anyway, looking forward to playing him in CP. Lugia seems pretty cool, and I'm gonna assume we can give Ignis a command at the same time, right? So like, you could do Val Tus and Lugia for pressure at the same time?

Ironically, I was drawn to Liz for the same reason. I saw this game, and I didn't think anyone looked interesting. I saw Elizabeth gameplay, and after hearing her lines while fighting, I was drawn to her automatically (I never played a Persona game before). Yeah, it's odd, but a lot of people dropped P4U I think. Seems the Liz players stuck around and supposedly, we're abundant on XBL (this, I'm skeptical of, but it seems like it). No problem btw. I'm always down to help since this is a game I'm actually knowledgeable about. That bufu combo is so trollish, but it's too hard for me lol.

2C > sb.Zio > 5C (2) > j.D reset is pretty cool on people who don't expect it. You could try that when you're a tad more comfortable with corner combos. You have to set the training dummy to upwards (or forwards?) aerial tech though. Garu loops are easiest on Naoto/Akihiko/(s.)Labrys, Yosuke, and Liz. All you have to do is hold 2 for them. I practiced on them, and when I got more comfortable, I moved on to learning it on other characters. I still fuck up the j.B garu loop lol. To time a regular garu loop after 5D, all you have to do is wait until Thanatos throws backwards, and then 5B > 2AB them. It takes a bit to get used to, but if you see it in videos, you'll get it down. I played CS2 on pad since that was my first FG (I got a stick about the time EX came out) and I had issues IADing on it. I find the dpad is MILES beyond the analog stick for IADs. I think all Liz players hate Mitsuru . Also, this video has the j.B loops. I feel like I give you too many video links lol.

Sorry if what I meant came out wrong. If Yu hits Liz with his Ziodyne super while Liz has Megiadolan active, Yu can OMC his super, return to neutral, and he won't die. I hope I'm conveying this better lol, I always have a problem with explaining stuff. Mind Charge to pause the game is godlike. Shoutouts to Giovanni for putting me on to that. A tip for the Memento Mori combo is to do the 214214 motion while AOA is coming out, so when you OMC, it's something like 5AB > 214214ABCC (I probably didn't explain this well either, lol). AUB = air unblockable. Since 5A will make them tech mid-air, and since you can't block the first 5 frames you're airborne, 2B blows them up. You can follow up with 2B > j.C > 236CD [8] > 236D [2] > 2AB > 236D [9~3] > 2A > 5B > 5C > stuff.

OMC Ziodyne as in cancelling it with ABC as soon as it hits 222CD. It's quite stupid that it works that way, but it does. Liz's IK is okay, it beats a lot of people who are inexperienced with it or who do dumb things. At any rate, 2C/5D/5C are pretty much all you can do for meaty attacks, unless you're doing some type of super yomi setup. Memento Mori does 2.6k~ under max proration as well, so don't go from perfecting someone into awakening if it won't kill them, lol. Also, after Memento Mori, you can do a 5A > 2B AUB reset. It's pretty cool.

Yeah, I wish I would've went lol, but I'm broke as hell (damn Zone of the Enders LE making me buy it and shit). I believe I could've got somewhere, but in my experience, I always have to play killers early on in tournaments. I remember my first ever tournament, I played Lich for my first match in losers, and got bodied. I wonder how Eshi did though.

Two Elizabeths went IIRC, Starlight and Eshi. I didn't get to see Eshi play since I went to bed really early last night, but Starlight needs to learn the character better. Every time he hit 5C in a combo, he went to Maziodyne A. He could've bodied so many people. Also, I lol'd when he tried to do 214CD > Memento Mori.
