  1. So I will be at Norcal (San Mateo, to be more specific) next week, who wants to play some BB?
  2. I also can bring my setup to the venue if you need, I have an EVO monitor.
  3. Don't worry Lock, I didn't know either, and I let you hug me (no homo, of course). And I'm starting to regret not going to the pool party, looks like I missed some laughs D=
  4. I didn't listed anyone exactly because I didn't want to do any injustices , but I have to give shoutouts to Grrr for supporting BB and for not letting me be the only Brazilian on the tournament (even though I'm still the only one that still lives in Brazil).
  5. Already posted my shoutouts to CEO on it's thread, but I'm gonna post it here too: Shoutouts to Lockhart and Eshi for getting second and third on the BB tournament, good shit. Shoutouts to Stickbug for losing to me on Divekick (and shoutouts to Keits for bringing the game to CEO). Shoutouts to the South Carolina crew (Jaguar, LockHart, SK and Ben S), you guys are awesome, thanks for all the good time. Shoutouts to M.song for organizing the AH3 side tournament and for bringing the project Diva station. Shoutouts to Bibulus, Enkindu, Kayane and all the others SCV players that I have met and talked to there. Shoutouts to having dinner saturday with the BB crew. Shoutouts to having lunch in a Brazilian restaurant on Friday with godlike people, I hope you guys liked the food. Shoutouts to the asian buffet =P . Shoutouts to the Florida players I met there, nice to meet you guys. Shoutouts to everyone I met that I don't remember/know the name. And Shoutouts to Jebailey and all the staffs for organizing this awesome tournament. And btw, I will be on Florida until saturday, so I wanna know if someone is interested in having casuals during this week too.
  6. Man, this event was godlike. Shoutouts to Lockhart and Eshi for getting second and third on the BB tournament, good shit. And Shoutouts to Jebailey and all the staffs for organizing this awesome tournament. I will still be here on US until EVO, so I hope I can see some of you guys again soon.
  7. 4B is also a good AA if you see the opponent coming from far away, and it's a good starter for combos.
  8. Just sent you a PM with my room.
  9. Already in Orlando , if someone wants to play some casuals please PM me.
  10. Speaking of learning, what steps do you guys usually do to learn a new game? For me, first I go to training mode and try learning one or two simple BNB combos, and then after that I go directly to matches (both online or offline) and try to learn what kind of game (if it's more focused on neutral, more focused on pressure, what kind of strategy has more advantage, etc...) and character (if it's a zonning or rushdown character, if it has a strong pressure/okizeme/keep away, etc...) I'm playing, and after a session of matches I watch some streams of other people playing too, then only after I have done all of that and started getting the feeling of the game I get back into learning more damaging and optmized combos.
  11. Looks like Imperial Palace is cheap and is close to ceasar's (on the other side of the street).
  12. Oh boy, I'm late, gonna post the ones I found anyway: 236C>RC>236A (Pass through)>4B[2 only]>2DD>214A>stuff CH 3C[3]>236A>2B>2C>TK>RC>5DD>236C>5C>214A>stuff
  13. I will be there. And btw, if someone doesn't have a room yet there's place remaining on mine, if you got interested PM me.
  14. Thanks for everyone who watched (specially LK), the matches were hype. If anyone got interested on the archive of the stream here are the links (Lambda footage starts on the first link at 4:30:46) : http://www.twitch.tv/x_revolution/b/320259935 http://www.twitch.tv/x_revolution/b/320293953
  15. Probably in 10 minutes. And my Lambda is untrained, don't expect much from her.
  16. If anyone got interested, I will be running a tournament today here in my city of some anime games (BB, MB, AH3, even though the last one we don't have any decent players) and Skullgirls, and I will be streaming it on this link (I'm not going to post it on the main calendar because it's the first time that I'm the main TO of a tournament, so the chances of something getting messed up is high =P ) : twitch.tv/x_revolution It will start with AH3 and after it's tournament ends we will stream BB, with the Winners, Losers and Grand finals of all games being on stream too.
  17. There's also this corner only combo that deals 7,283 damage out of a 214A FC: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm17838406 214A FC>236C>4B>TK>5C>6C>236D>214D~C>214D>5C>6C>5C>6C>6DD>2DD>aerial D ender with calamity (you gain more than 50% of heat during the combo)
  18. I will be there, let's make this the most hype side tournament ever.
  19. The Talim avatar is sad, makes me remember that I can't use my favorite Soul Calibur Character in SCV.
  20. Usually when I fight Jins I try to find a way to start pressuring him and not letting him out, Jin's neutral game kinda beats Lambda because of the 236X (stops 214D, 5D and 6D are not so efficient against it, etc...), so I try to find a way to avoid his zonning and to get close to him, and then start pressuring and keep going from there. And if he starts pressuring you, don't try desperately to run away from him, keep calm, use barrier, block all the crossups and wait for a gap to escape or punish him. About your gameplay, I only watched your last 2 matches, but you should use more 5B and 2B, they are better than 5C and 3C for poking because they have faster startup and recovery and can be cancelled on 6B (and on jump because of that) or C attacks.
  21. I think I got it now, gonna make some tests during matches then. Thanks!
  22. Presented by Hit Confirm , the Heaven or Hell is a national tournament for non-mainstream games on Brazil. Official Line-up: - BlazBlue Continuum Shift EXTEND (PS3) - Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus (PS2 or PS3, if it gets released until there) - Melty Blood Actress Again: Current Code 1.07 (PC) - Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike online edition (PS3) Date and time: July 14-15, times TBA Location: X-Revolution Lan House: Avenida Engenheiro Armando de Arruda Pereira number 1370, Conceição, São Paulo. How to get there: The venue is 5 minutes walking from the Conceição station or 10 minutes walking from Jabaquara Station, both from the blue line of São Paulo's subway. If you are coming from Guarulhos International Airport there's a bus there that goes to Tatuapé station, and from there you can just take the subway to the venue. Fees: TBA Stream: twitch.tv/x_revolution Get hype!
  23. 1) I see, thanks, gonna see if I start using 214D more against her then. 2) Just tried it on training against ragna, he can DP between 236B and 2A and his 2A trade hits with lambda (returning the match to neutral) 3) Well, I still can do 5C>2C>jump cancel, but I will try to use this attack less then.
  24. Just notice a mistake on the frame data on the wiki, when you click to see the 4B hitbox it shows the 3C hitbox.
