Any news on Adachi appearing on Xbox yet? Even though he's "DLC character #1" he still hasn't appeared.
-
There was the one video where he punished with 360C, and went into the inf after a chainshift. Seeing as how much screen that super travels too, thats just another way to set it up.

If the match is paused, forfeiture of the round will be decided by the TO. Prizes: 1st: $50 Best Buy Giftcard 2nd: $25 Best Buy Giftcard 3rd: $10 Best Buy Giftcard /End Details I encourage everyone who attends to support Monsters Arcade by buying snacks/drinks, or Magic/YuGiOh cards if that is your thing. Monsters is a great asset to the Houston FGC Community! See you all there (and bring your friends)!

the main players of note that were there were Flash Alex G Marn Latif Jan Kensou Raekwon Jais Chase i dont recall any george or prucha, but maybe someone else could fill you in on them. And regarding if they are GUARANTEED to go since they won..well im gonna tell you straight up your guess is as good as mine
-
yeah, marn/flash/alex g lost to latif's team, and they were seeded against eachother because pozer and latif made it too late to enter the singles tourney, which decided team seeding (they were dq'd) raekwon ocv'd fubar jan and kevin, and yes it was recorded. When Raekwon finished kensou, and he stood up all akuma like, the whole hotel just shook. It was intense.

and Ky? ive never ever seen you play Ky, i need to get out more
-
good shit kevin

ive grabbed Pot out of his Aegis multiple times, it basically boils down to is "is the move invincible, invincible to strikes only, or invincible to throws only". Zappa's summon is a prime example of "invincible to strikes only". in your testament case kobe, all of teste's invincibility goes to the frames before the super flash, so at the point of the super flash, testament had no invinc, so the ky denpa had a good chance.
-
true true, that would be the downside that i forgot to post. Good catch.

if you do notice a hole in their strings, as long as you dont fall for a frame trap, 5HS is a real safe choice (with at least 25% meter) 1. It comes out in 5 frames and has a huge hitbox. 2. It has an frc point, where you basically tap HS then tap k+s+hs (my method at least) right after making the move incredibly safe on block and gives you time to react if it hits. and 3. It staggers for a while on CH, so after an frc you can set even better stuff up. the only move that comes out as quick is 5K, a quick rapid fire low move thats good for stuffing some tick throws.
-
^ interesting i figure it might work on Robo-Ky, since his and Ky's hitbox is the same when being juggled. Ky's hitbox is wierd to begin with, so i imagine itll probably just work on him.

"Whatever is done, a fellow is no good" is still the best name of an Overdrive ever. EVER.

just blocking against sol right when the match starts is the best bet in my mind, his normals are good at the start of the round, just backdashing can get you grand viper'd, tho i should try just backdashing right when the match starts, i mean usually i got grand viper'd as faust, since his backdash takes a while, but ill just see with robo. Just no more backdashing after an ib because that BB is nasty... man, ib'ing bandt bringer just brings the rape really.
-
sol's ive fought in general around texas..which is like 4 "he" makes a good umbrella term.
-
Nope! its happened countless times and i keep trying to not backdash after i IB the f.S but i dont think about it sometimes. and yeah, i wholeheartedly believe in the being patient game, thats how i feel RO should be played, its not my fault that the Sol player has a tendency to choose the right random mixup at the right time... he is good, i mean he hits his combos and hits them hard, it just he fishes for that random ch a little too much..
