Starting on time is a definite yes. We need more organization between bracket organizers - multiple people having matches in different games holding up brackets is always going to be a problem, but just plain giving each tournament organizer a solid schedule more than two days in advance is huge for letting people know what they need to do to start on time and stay on time.

Update on the stream setup: We now have a box that can show two PS3 feeds at once and switch between them freely. Next step is getting the sound worked out so it's not audio chaos, but by next NCI our stream rig will be fully ready to handle and show two separate screens of Gundamming! :D

Yeah, pretty much this. It's about 1.5 seconds of lag before it properly switches.

The single wiring thing will be fine because he's consolidating the Next cabs into the HD cabs with Extreme Vs. in there, which should help. Still, lots to talk through!

Myung and I have been talking about this for a while trying to figure out how we can make the game more accessible to spectators. Even if we have two stream setups, that can end up diluting the experience because the commentary becomes two people shouting over each other and you still don't see very much. What we want is a centralized video feed, which can switch between the two video feeds as necessary, but the technology to do this quickly and easily on one box might be beyond the budget we have. It would be perfect for the commentators, perfect for the stream, but very difficult to do. That said... I really really want to have this available by next NCI.
