  1. Japanese version has it as fantasy/illusion. That's technically the correct word associated with the move.
  2. Chariot 11/27 Kyoichi vs Kaqn Chariot 11/27 Neko, Kyoichi vs Kaqn
  3. Chariot 11/27 TAS, Kyoichi vs Kaqn Taokaka 13 reps
  4. kishuu beats both jC and 4C. I know that just from watching vids. The people watching the match will be bored, but the mind game for people playing the match will be fantastic.
  5. Two likely cases. 1. He forgot he has yukikaze. 2. He was baiting for ashura (new super), in which case I think ice arrow would have won, but misread, which is understandable because ashura is the safer super of the two.
  6. I'm going to be honest. Mirror match looks hella fun on paper in CS.
  7. 6D comes out on frame 1, but 5A spam doesn't actually have an opening to stick out a move. Like I said, it's air-tight. And apologies for misunderstanding who the post was directed to.
  8. I'm not sure if your post is directed at me, but if it is, you don't need to justify what you are doing to me. I try to not judge players base on their online matches. It's not like my opinion means anything anyways. But I do want to correct one thing: Hard 5A spam cannot be IB >6D/2D. The +3F advantage and the fact that it's only 5F startup actually make it that even if you do get the -2F situation off an IB, the 5A spam is still air-tight. That's one of the reason fighting noel is a pain in the ass for hakumen in the first place.
  9. Like I said, it's really hard to judge player skill through online matches. God knows I can't play worth shit with lag, never mind IBing even the basics.
  10. I don't believe hakumen ever qualified as gimmick nor terrible. Again, hakumen was fine outside of two match-ups: arakune and nu (although personally I've never fought a nu that was good enough for me to see problem i see in JP matches). Not to mention game mechanics for BB makes it so hakumen's match-up rating is a lot more dependent on the player, more so than with other characters' match-up ratings. Hakumen has always been very solid imo. 4C and jC are great as it is. I don't believe a move needs to have no weakness to be top class move. As it is, 4C and jC are amazing if the player use them correctly. It's another one of those things where it's not about using them as much as letting your opponent know you have them and know how to use them. As for jC's speed, I am almost 100% sure it's no slower than 13F, which while not the fastest, it is still plenty fast. Ragna's jC is more for air to ground, and Litchi's I am almost sure that it's slower. Litchi's jC is better in the sense that it grants more damage return, not because it's a better poke. Hakumen's jC is the best poke of that variation in the game though, imo, not to mention its untechable time greatly helps hakumen get to the corner. That and paring with his jB, jD, and hotaru grants him pretty good control of his air-space.
  11. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this. If not, I apologize. Is there anyone I can speak to regarding the Austin arcade situation? I'm going to be in Dallas/Plano, TX for about 2 weeks in the beginning of Jan, so I'm considering a trip depending on how I can maneuver my schedule. Appreciated. Edit: preferably over IM so I don't flood this thread with useless posts.
  12. You need completely new guides. Hakumen's style may not have changed much, but almost everyone else is redone.
  13. He got tweaked a lot. Most of his moves became better, safer, and more comboable. He got major buffs.
  14. Unfortunately, that's exactly how it's going to be in certain match-ups. The 4C AA IAD is basically Jin's 5D AA IAD. On some levels the moves weren't designed well. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited about jC's combo potential though
  15. I don't think he looks overpowered. Firepower is never a major issue because it's the least major factor concerning the abilities of a character. It's only when it's significantly in one direction or the other (in this case, Hakumen's relative firepower is out of whack) that it may swing the match-up at all. Overall, his avg dmg is slightly higher than Bang and Litchi, but a little less than Ragna, but again that's variable to how well the hakumen player can control his meter. The bullshit from 6C full charge are very unlikely to happen also (for now, this may change. I'm sure people, including me, have ideas they want to try as to how to get that hit). His style didn't change at all either. But is hakumen a good character now? hell yes. Like I said, think AC slayer. When Slayer had no HP, people aren't going "slayer is screwed". They are going "slayer has full tension, don't get hit, by anything". Same thing with hakumen.
  16. Thanks. Now I'm just wondering when will we actually land 6C(full charge). It's not possible to block something then do it from what I can tell, so the most likely cases are successfully baited DP (whiff) from ragna and Jin most likely, also Rachel's 2C.Baiting Tager's supers may also work assuming you aren't magnetized. Probably also applies to Carl's gear super (jump over to the other side), and Noel. I don't see it as possible to land it on Bang, nu, hakumen, taokaka, Litchi, among others. Spirit said it's about 1 second charge. I think it's more around 42-43F, but that's off video and probably more inaccurate. Overall though, you can bet the opponent will burst immediately if they get hit by a 6C(full charge), god forbid counter hit.

  18. As terrible as she is, she is not CT Tager. That shit was out of this world.
  19. I told you you weren't a nazi.

  21. The point is not to hit them out of collider. The point is the lack of block stun means your target falls faster, and collider will miss because of that.
  22. I believe IB barrier still existed in the air, so 2C (blocked) >collider may not be automatic. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  23. I like this combo, is probably applicable for 40% screen length. hotaru>j2c>5c>enma>j2c>2c>j2a>j2a>jc>j2a>jc>jc for about 5k. Edit: Obligatory TEYA TEYA TEYA
  24. I'm sold, 4c and jC looks legit. It won't matter if opponents get use to seeing those moves if the hakumen player can use them correctly.
  25. You can't tech roll cancel anymore, which is a great change because in CT certain characters were actually at a disadvantage when their opponent is knocked down.
