We all know Terumi was there during the whole thing, Ragna even remembers feeling his presence. I guess its probably up in the air if he was possessing Jin or not, but Jin does have his smile in that CG.

Ok, here's my interpretation of the events: Terumi posses Jin and cuts off Ragna's arm, makes off with Saya and leaves him to die. Ragna is bleeding out and Rachel appears and takes him to where the remains of the Black Beast are. Ragna, probably out of survival instinct, grafts the remains where his arm was, thus becoming the Azure. He passes out due to stress. Jubei takes Ragna in and he rests for 10 days. Etc. etc.

But Noel kind of let go of her hatred after Ragna rescued her and when she resolved to save Tsubaki; she is able to use her Murakumo powers now without going all omnicidal on everything. I don't really think he let go of it, but rather directed it at something else(I.e. Hazama) but yea, interacting with Noel really helped him mellow out somewhat; Guess seeing someone you care about go down the path you almost went is a bit of an eye opener.

Yea, even Hazama was surprised by how he just accepted it. I hope they elaborate on that in CP because it makes Ragna eerily similar to Hazama, with both of them hating the world and how it works.

Well he did acknowledge that he hates the world and everything in it and was completely ok with destroying everything along with Nu when he thought he was helpless. Ragna was just full of problems in CT wasn't he.

Ya know what I found weird was how Ragna was smiling when he was killing Nu in the Akitsu branch, getting some sadistic glee off that. I was like "..yoooo" I guess killing replicas of your sister isn't good for the sanity.

Episode starts with Hakumen using 6A through a wall? Already better than episode 1. But yea, this episode felt like a massive improvement: Pros: +Far Better pacing than the previous episode +Musical score continues to impress +Characterization is a bit more solid(We never did know for sure if Ragna hated the world enough to want to destroy it). Cons: -Animation still is pretty meh in a lot of places, and I hated how they seemingly wasted the budget on Noel summoning Bolverk. - No "Ragna vs. Hakumen" theme, the best place to fucking use it and you don't. Why Mori. At the very least, they at least can have better focus when it comes to Continuum Shift.
