I mean, you can either barrier or jump out of most of what he does. You'd have to really know how to use his tools to demand respect with him and even then. Terumi's I watch tend to back off after a few hits and back into neutral.

Which he really can't do and the command grab is pretty easily telegraphed anyway. You can easily just mash 2A during the startup.

I think its more the mechanics of it do not work the way you think they do.

Online is kind of a necessary evil unfortunately, because a lot of people simply do not have the resources to go a major or even a local. For some, netplay is their only way of playing the game and improving against live opponents. It just has the unfortunate side effect of breeding bad players who think they're better than they really are...

Tiers generally don't change unless its a new game or some ground breaking tech about a character is revealed. Otherwise, they're generally consistent until then and don't change every month or so.
