And of course ya know, some players are simply better despite who they play, Goro and Fenrich being prime examples. Not that Makoto or Jin are bad characters per se, especially the latter, but its pretty clear the aforementioned players are a cut above the average person who plays them. How else are we supposed to complain about which characters we hate the most.

Its almost like...Tier lists are based on the opinions of the highest level of play. This is why I said I hate talking about tier lists here, people keep thinking of them as end all be all instead of a purely subjective thing :P

It should be noted that there should be some parameters used when you make up a tier list(ease of use, how hard is it to win with them, tools, etc etc) as well as information based on what most top players would be saying. Tagertime's list is...ok, but that's just overall ranking; it doesn't really have anything else specific about it. So I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Can't wait to play the game and see how people come to their conclusions lol.

Almost winning and then getting 7k'd off a J.B by Hakumen really puts it into perspective what we're doing to people with that shit. I felt legit robbed after that match with Razuil. Ggs tho and to Henjin and SWD.

The general consensus is that he is among the worst characters in the game in terms of viability compared to the rest of the cast. I am not trying to shit on your favorite character or discourage you from playing him, seriously if you wanna use Terumi then you're perfectly in your right in doing so. I'm just going by what I know about him and using it as a comparison, ok?

I said average damage bby :P My point was saying that even if "better" is a subjective term, it tends to be supported by actual facts more often than not. I don't give a damn what your opinion is, you're not gonna convince me a character like Terumi is better than Valkenhayn unless you got some damn good evidence.

If Character A does an average of 3k, while Character B is doing 2k. I don't think Character A doing more damage is simply an "opinion" lol. If there's clear evidence to the contrary, then yes, characters can be better than others.

To be fair, Xrd 1.1 wasn't out yet and its onlt been out for about a week now. We've had plenty of months of 2.0 Kokonoe by comparison. I haven't really seen as much of her.

That's why I hate the talk of tier lists on this site, all it leads is to debates on who sucks and who's good and nobody ever seems to realize its opinion based.
