Imagine all the vocal songs LIVE, oh god yes plz.
-
After this week, yaaay. And yea. Alright, anyone else?
-
I wanted to wait until Spring Break to do a FT20, but I guess this can be a warm up to that.
-
Ok, college has been kicking my ass. Two tests this week and two papers, and I need stress to relieve. Who wants to FT5 me.
-
I'm already being stupid by getting it lol. At least this way I'll actually be able to read most of the text lol.
-
I kind of want an English disk this time, so I'm gonna wait until Summer. Plus ya know, as much as I am a whore for this series, I ain't paying full retail for the same game lol.
-
Good, now get some actual footage of him :V
-
Sometimes a guy just wants to mash buttons with his favorite character regardless of wins and losses.
-
and I completely forgot about blockstun, I should learn to think about that more. Fffuuuu, ok disregard my previous post lol.
-
*Disregard this post*

Unless your opponent is using Jin's 6B predictably, you're not going to react to it reliably or consistently unless you just got godlike reactions, and considering most of the people in this thread are on netplay, I don't believe that to be true, myself included. A good Jin player will not let you react to it reliably, that's the entire point of 6B. Riddle me this dustloop; how many times have you been in this situation against a decent Jin. "Fuck man, his pressure is pretty strong, I have to be on point" *Jin uses 6B* "*GASP* A slow move? I can react to this by mashing 2A, which I will do right no-COUNTER" "FFFUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!" I'm not saying its impossible to react to it, but you have to know the difference between reading the opponent and reacting to a move; the former takes some degree of Yomi and reads, the latter is an automatic reaction. and ya know, netplay. :V Where the hell are even getting 6A from? I said 2A and 5A :V
-
Yea that's right, show Jin who's boss.
-
The Jin's you fight must be pretty terrible then, because he is really hard to disrespect reliably. He pretty much makes a living out of the fuck ups of the opponent. Defending is one of the most annoying things about fighting him. As for who has better stagger than Terumi, hard to say but I'd go with Hazama. +1 frame advantage and 6f startup on 2A yo. Only thing that's really faster are certain 5A's and those whiff on crouching.
-
You guys can just play Teiga :V
-
I'd imagine that matchup is going to be a bit more in Jin's favor with the buff to his 236A right?
-
Then yea, Ragna has only ever been S in CSEX then. He had some seriously retarded damage in the corner, especially of a Fatal Counter.
-
Well I know Ragna was only really considered S in CSEX and maybe CS1? If someone can confirm that, that'd be great. But even so, they've only ever been below A like once or twice if I recall.
-
CP2, Jin looks no worse than A+, but he might drop to just A. People only think he's S tier because Fenrich stays being 19th Dan lol. Dude's like the machaboo of Blazblue lol.
-
The difference is that Hazama's and Rachel's drives allow superior movement, which is going to be a hell of a lot more stronger than either Ragna or Jin can do. The top tiers through the years have generally been characters who have pros that severely outweigh their cons, and most of the time those pros are godlike movement and space control: Rachel, Tao, Hazama, Litchi, Valkenhayn, etc etc. Ragna & Jin do stay up in the tier list due to their consistency and extremely good and versatile moveset(Rag's 5B and Jin's 5C for example). So yea, like TD said, really depends on what they want the developers to do with the characters.
-
Mmmmm, I dunno. I'm not really fond of plot dictating how strong characters are lol
-
Hey, I never said that some drives aren't blatantly better than others or that some rely on it more so than their normals, just that there's more to it than that. They go hand in hand; Rachel's drive compliments her normals and that's why she was so strong for so long. Actually, I think that's what Blazblue should strive for, drives and normals complimenting each other.
-
So its not so much Terumi is a bad character, its just everyone else is superior to him in every way. Dat's funny. I can see that being true tho. About the whole "Drive" debate going on, I think we're getting too hung up on semantics. Let's not thing of drives as central features of the characters, but rather extensions of what they can do already.
-
I'm still a bit salty they keep nerfing Zanshin lol. Despite the nerfs, I could accept what they gave him in 1.0-1.1 as a fair compromise but then they remove that as well. You may as well just leave his only counter as Yukikaze and call it a day. That said, proration buffs and the 4C buff are welcome, so I can't complain too much. He's not exceptionally strong anymore, but he's still viable at least. So yea, overall as a character he functions perfectly fine despite his "gimmick" not being that strong anymore.
-
The fact that he's not being played much could be an indicator of how he might be.
-
Terumi's a lost cause, he's too far gone.... Seriously, what is even the deal with that character. Why does he suck so much lol.
