Ragna seems to have the inexplicable ability to be around a bunch of women; its that Azure swag.

I also like how Jubei didn't have to tell Noel what to do, and she resolved to find Jin herself. It also makes Jubei less of a dumbass for leaving her alone for Hazama to find.

I had the same experience with the Persona 4 anime; I liked it, but my friend who played and beat the game didn't, because it cut a lot of stuff.

Damn, that actually was a pretty good episode; the added focus to other scenes really helped. Could this anime actually end on a good note...

Yea, they really should have had better focus in the three storylines, otherwise you may as well have just had just the Chronophantasma route. To be fair, Noel doesn't do a whole lot from what I can tell. She gets her Mu powers, opens up some door so Jin can fight Tsubaki and then gets bodied by Beast!Ragna. It is a lot less tedious than going through 26 story routes, but at the cost of so much character focus. Poor Tao, just up and forgotten.

It seems we can't win with Ragna; when he's good, he's "broken" when he's nerfed, he sucks.

Hey, its not the stupidest thing to happen in this story. And its not like Ragna's jacket or sword have a point of origin anyway.

I personally wanted to see U. Ragna vs. U. Azrael after the latter's arcade ending because of the sheer GAR produced; but Ragna showing maturity and not relying on the grimoire too is good too I guess, if anticlimactic. It was when the Izanami commanded it after Nu stabbed him in the back. As for Relius, he's basically being used by Carl since he's lost his resources; Valkenhayn just kinda showed up to fight Relius near the end of the game.

Yea for some reason, they didn't distort his howls....it sounds really funny.
