  1. Agreed, she's strong. @GBS Giovanni : didn't you mean j.22D? Well landing 2D might work if j.C hits close enough to the ground. In any case, yes, on FC, 2D will combo with j.C / j.2C
  2. I see. So it's a "I want to react but i'm too late" kind of situation Because I really often see millias landing a hit after a roll so i've been wondering what was people mindset during those times.

  4. Dude, nothing can beat 0f guard cancel bullshit. Even if the game is slower, 19f is huge. Not sure what to think of GCOD, I guess time will tell
  5. The principle might be the same, but the fact GCOD is 19f and not 0f makes its usage and utility completely different.
  6. At the very least, i can see why Arc sys has chosen to not let CH on GCOD. It would be ridiculously stupid on characters with extremely damaging CH OD combo, like Tsubaki (yeah, her again :P) I mean, who would like to lose match because they blockstringed 5B 5C and ate a non-burstable 8000 damage combo out of it.
  7. I get them quite consistently when I use C ender, but in the corner with D ender, i mess up pretty often. Dunno why, probably some brain problems here. Haven't found a good method yet, it's all about timing.
  8. I tried for quite some time, and on some character it's just plain impossible. Small characters won't get hit enough for 2C to combo. I know that Shabrys and Minazuki are no good. Yukiko as well if I remember well. Works fine on Mitsuru and Yu, and Margaret too. It's her only character spec stuff I believe, so it's worth working around it. In any case, you can always do 5C > air combo instead for some additionnal damage.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAfcIr_eKcc#t=4996 At 1:23:15 you can see ragna getting hit by houtenjin during a 2C I'm pretty sure 2C is in CH state till the end (i could be wrong here) but he doesn't get CH'ed Earlier in the video, you can also see makoto punishing Jin's 5C with 2A and still not getting a counter. Well these are not definite proofs but i still find it puzzling at least.
  10. This hasn't been "confirmed" but that's one thing you can see in the videos from the last TGS. Houtenjin and others stuff never landed a CH in ragna's hell's fang. @mAc Chaos : apparently the game doesn't allow it. I can understand why. I'm just making assumptions here, but checking the videos you can see it by yourselves.

  12. You can't get a CH from an GCOD, the game prevents it (for obvious reasons) Also, GCOD is super slow, i doubt you'd be able to hit anyone with 6B And to answer one question from above, GCOD is fully invincible, like normal OD.
  13. 5B > 5A > 5B > 5C > 236C is indeed blockstring, unless 5C is IBed, then there is a small gap where one can roll, and throw will punish you But that's the safest route she has. Well, sweep delay still works. CH j.C > land > 2C combo (depending on the height) CH j.C > j.22C also combo

  16. I believe 5C > 236C is blockstring and safe (because of the distance) 5C > 2C will get punished if rolled. Mitsuru's 5A will punish it easily, or any other fast move with a decent range. Her main problem is that she can't jump cancel any of her move on guard. Hop is fine and all but it's slow and your options are very limited. Maybe delaying a sweep after 5C is a solution to catch rolls? Need to be tested

  18. Hmm, it also reduces the recovery of 5D, 2D. I believe every (or most) charge cancels are + in OD. It also increases the charge speed :P
  19. (Back to corner) CH B+D > j2C > dj.C > j.214AB > 214A > 214214A [3694 damage, 75 meter] Midscreen, you need to RC the first hit of j.214AB, then dash 214A. Could be useful to end a match, otherwise it's not worth it :3
  20. She plays kinda like Liz to me. (if that does help). Some pressure with the persona, with the command throw mixup at the end. But she's more offensive. She definitely needs her counter hit to deal some decent damage, or meter, but she can't provoke them, as almost everything is negative on block. Her neutral is average, her defense is mediocre. Well she's awkward, no gameplan really defined. But again i'm not the greatest player, and some will probably guide you more than me :P

More optimized would be without 236236C lol sweep > 214B > OMC > 2C > 2D > j.22C > 214C > 2B > 5C > j.C j.2C > dj.C dj.2C > j.214A [4165 damage / 50 meter] Can also OMB after 214B for the same effect. Couldn't find a way for j.214B to hit twice. Maybe with 5B pickup after 214C, but the timing is a bitch. Also, 2B prorates very very poorly, you'll always want to use 5B instead except when it's not possible.

More optimized version of the earlier combo : Midscreen or corner : CH 5C > 2C > 2D > j.22C > 214C > 5B > 5C > j.C > j.2C > dj.C > j.214AB > 214A > 236236AB > 214214A [7124 damage / 150 meter used] Corner FC 2C > 214D > 2A > 5C > j.2C > j.22D > j.22C > 214C > 5B > 5C > OMB > 214CD > 2B(1) > 5C > j.B j.C j.2C > dj.5C > j.214AB > 214A > 214214AB [7417 damage / 125 meter]
  23. Best I found is : j.2B > j.214AB > dash 2B (only the tornado like move hits) > j.C > j.2C > j.214B for a neat 1703 damage... lol This starter is incredibly bad. Even on fatal I can't top over 4900 damage with HT and 125 meter. That's so sad. I'm so amazed FC J.2B > 5C > 2C doesn't link. Just, why? Opponent is on crouch state and Fatal, even so 2C is so slow it won't connect.
  24. It's totally off topic but, at 0:23, you get hit by the roll + airspike (no idea what is this move or how it's called). Why? I mean, why is everyone getting hit by this? She was way too far to throw, so what did you try here and what were you afraid of? I've been wondering for quite some time now lol
  25. It's not instant overhead as it whiffs on crouchers.
