  1. It depends if you want okizeme or not. 5B > 5A*5 > 236D > 5C > j.2C > j.236C deals more damage but no okizeme.
  2. He still had 65% winrate with his old card (over 10k matches) and still qualified for Arc Revo He sure shined during the last year of CSEX but he's still pretty solid. Maybe he's a late bloomer and needs more pratice. But I don't know, I don't see anything with this Tsubaki that makes me say "ok THIS is strong". She looks so average right now.
  3. Looks like she can't do 6C after j.236D j.214D anymore (seen in Ryo vs Konan video) To be honest i'm terrified at how weak she look. Even Konan seems to struggle a lot with her.

  8. You could but you've chosen one of the strongest character in the game to make your argument valid. I agree with you that now charge looks like more icing on the cake, but I prefer Tsubaki CS2 style where charges were much faster, chargeless damage around 2.5k but could use her charges to gain momentum quite easily. 236D tends to go this way, but our charge rate doesn't look so fast, and 5B/5C cancel 5D is still - afaik We'll see I guess, need more footage of Kuresu.
  9. Install Gauge 1 = 1 stock @zaeris : comparing Tsubaki to Litchi makes little to no sense. Litchi can convert anything into damage because she was (is?) too strong and need(ed) to be toned down. Our damage is average / better than the majority of the cast. Also, I've no idea what "our better okizeme" is supposed to be. Our mixup game is the same (meaning trash), and j.214 gives more or less the same okizeme than before. Even worst, 22B has much more untech time, and won't allow us to charge at all midscreen, and maybe even in corner. I won't judge too quickly about this new Tsubaki, but at first glance she doesn't look stronger than before to me.
  10. It wasn't gimmicky because this is how she was designed. She had competitive damage already. Hitting 3k midscreen, 4k+ corner was fairly easy. I don't really care either way, it looks we traded our free 1 stock for some midscreen meterless damage. But that's when they decided to improve her pressing with 236D being +. I don't really understand where Arcsys is going with this character.
  11. Not sure why they improved her damage, she didn't really need it. But it seems they improved everyone's damage. Doesn't look like her neutral changed so much. 236D is a nice buff but it pushes back so far you can't reset pressure with 5A. Banana super pushback looks exactly the same to me. This Kagura wasn't using barrier.
  12. It looks like we lost our ability to gain a charge after 22B. Charging after it doesn't look any faster than in neutral
  13. She needs to bait rolls unfortunatly. Sweep can be effective, as well as 2A or 214X Rolls on wakeup shouldn't be possible if you meaty. Rolls aren't invul from frame 1. But this isn't as easy as I sound, i mess up pretty often too :P

Not sure edit : the tournament will begin soon with both Kuresu and Spinoza playing in it. We should be able to see a lot of Tsubaki new tech
  15. CH 5D > 2C works I still haven't found a reliable combo route off 5D non CH midscreen. Usually I just let it go and okizeme
  16. Spinoza is only posting combos about 623C > 5C juggle, but unless they changed 623C (and they probably did), this link is freaking hard to do. Hope he's giving feasible combos and not impossible ones.
  17. No need to be quick. The game selects back your default color when you leave and come back on your character. That's the bug they will fix I suppose

  19. Well, you will almost never get her persona break. Most of the time you/she will die before it happens, so it's not really a big deal.

  21. j.C and j.D are great tools to approach safely. I don't see how they could react and punish these two moves. I don't know, margaret shouldn't have any trouble at all approaching an opponent. Her neutral is fairly good (it has flaws through)
  22. I don't know about smacking or hitting 5D or 2D, because these two moves have armor so it doesn't really matter. 1) 2D is indeed an AA grab, except it's slow and has a poor hitbox. If you want to prevent people from jumping away from your pressure... Well end your string with 236C, then use j.2C. The persona will stay where 236C ended, and you'll be able to catch your opponent air to air. Either than that, since she can't jump cancel on guard, you don't have that many options to begin with. You can also use some 214C/D in your strings. It might catch the start up of a jump if timed well. Also, 2C > 2D can catch jumpers too if 2D is slightly delayed. 2) Why would you care about this? I mean, 236C is indeed strong, but you can also rush them down. You have 3 command grabs, and you can combo out of a regular throw in corner. Hit them with 5C / 2C then 5D. They'll learn they can't turtle against margaret. AoA can work too, but it's slow and very unsafe so use it wisely. 3) 5D is good. It's legit too. If you mix well between 5D, 2D, 236C and 214C, opponent will have a hard time reading you. And since 5D has armor, he can't mash out of it. 2C > 5D can work fine since the opponent will either read a 2D misconfirm or trying to catch him jumping. Just be aware that everything i've told you can be beat by rolls. Rolls is indeed the bane of Margaret.
