236D > 6CC looks very inconsistant, to not say impossible with the right setup and a good chunk of luck. God Konan doesn't even use it afaik.

Hmm yeah 5C was used to pick up after 22 or 22[D] in corner but i guess that's not really an OTG in this case.

Hmm is it me or 214D has become an S starter? The combo behind it is pretty bad.

Hmm nope, spent 1 hour or so trying to do it and couldn't find any combo that goes up to 15 charges used (reached 13 only)

I've only done the challenges but i haven't noticed anything odd about the buffer. Combos are much more difficult though because they are heavily space dependent. And DP > 5C is not as easy as i thought it'd be. 214D > CT is ok. You just need to input 8 once, and then do A+B. Don't hold 8 or CT won't come out. From the few hours i spent using her, she's probably the most difficult Tsubaki (haven't tried CS1 one though) of the entire serie. Combo wise at least (neutral looks pretty much the same) Also, is it just me or 5C/2C lift much higher now?

Well, there is no reason PS3 version would fail to deliver a proper experience. BBCP works fine on this system (or any other iteration of the game) This is the same engine. And the online will be the same on both versions. Netplay is all about the netcode and the quality of the peering between the two players. Hardware has little (or nothing) to do with it.

It is exactly as Sony said. It is up to the developers to install the drivers for non official PS4 controllers (ie : PS3 controllers) to work in their games. For instance, the Qanba Q4 works in MK10, but fails to work in GG Xrd (afaik). There is nothing we can do but test it when the game is out. But it is highly doubtful BBCP2 will work with PS3 sticks (business with madcatz and shit). And there is no converter that works (well) on the PS4 (still afaik)

The only way to get active frames is either by ripping datas from the game itself, or by using a debug mode which will give you these kind of infos, or if ASW gives us a(n accurate) frame data

Where are the holes in her pressure? It looks like she has an infinite pressing in corner, couldn't find anywhere to mash Her swords are too fast and chip so much, this is ridiculous

Well Izayoi became kinda strong afaik. But that's it. I would still try the game and see for yourself if i were you. I'm not in your shoes, these are only the reports from various sources (top players feedbacks and comments from here, for what they are worth). Maybe you'll like it. I know I won't so much, and i'm sure i won't buy it full price.

2f reversal window is short. It's not easy. I like it. I don't really enjoy when your okizeme is a guessfest. It's not fun, it's just random. Some people would say it's mindgame, but then again mindgame is just randomness. Adding difficulties to do reversals makes sense in this game because of blitzshield. A reversal that is "safe" and has 12 actives frames would be too strong with a loose reversal window.

From what I could read here (and see in various videos), Nu is awfully strong and annoying to fight, some (many?) characters are boring to play, they kinda removed all the broken stuff of everyone, the game became dull. The two new characters are terribad, and the top tiers are always the same. Looks like the balance patch didn't really fix many issues some characters could meet in their gameplan.

So, to resume, nobody has ever felt any slowdown that's worth talking about. What's the point of this thread again? Game runs perfectly fine on PS3. Period. I don't think ASW would ever release a game that isn't 60 fps rock solid. It's a shame DigitalFoundry doesn't test niche games like this one. -

My bad, when I tested this earlier i didn't notice that when Mitsuru hits you (on block), then hits your persona with the same coup droit, it becomes unsafe (Mitsuru is then in a hitstop that allows you to punish her) It's a bit tricky but might be useful though -

All the coup droit are punishable on block (no need to IB) with 5A, at any distance. You just need to mash ASAP (this move has almost no blockstun) This is the big nerf mitsuru got from Ultimax This is still a very bad matchup for shabrys though. -
You can guard cancel roll, but as it is unsafe, Yukari can punish you hard for it. Margaret has many options to avoid it. AoA if magarula is done in neutral will sometime punish her. If it's done in blockstun, GC roll immediatly during the freeze of the super, and Yukari won't be able to punish you (I have yet to test it at close range, but at max range it's pretty safe). You can also let it hit you in a yellow combo. It will deal something like 1000 damage, but you won't have to block the mixup and risk a 3k combo. And finally, 214AB might let you escape safely, as it is projectile invul, though i have yet to test it. Don't ever block it in the air, it's the worst situation, you have no mean to escape it afaik

Just came back from online session. It's decent, had 4f of input lag max. Sub-AC quality? Come on, not even close.
