Your logic is right, but the fact we can't throw the command grab during our pressure (unlike Valken brj.A) really isn't the same. The threat level, as well as the annoyance level, isn't the same at all. Anyone who knows a little about Tsubaki's matchup will mash as soon as we try the command grab, unless it's on meaty, because the only way to do it is by dashing to get close enough. And since all her moves cancel D are minus, there is no reason to not mash when seeing it. edit : this thread became Tsubaki vs The World for whatever reason lol

Because my brain orders me to. I'm trying to correct this, it will take some times tho. It's probably because i'm playing Tsubaki and one of her route in the corner is throw into DP lol. Damn muscle memory. I don't really trust in safe jumps in this game. As you can randomly delay your tech all you want, most of the time it won't work. Adding a little extra damage never hurts. The rekkas are very stylish too. Also, j.236B can bait most DP in the game (all of them except grim reaper EX and Nanase's I believe), plus it gives free pressure and a huge combo starter if the opponent mashes. But i'll consider it when I feel like it. As I said, I have a huge room for improvement, and not so many matches yet (hit 500 yesterday). First i'll try to never drop combos in matches, then i'll work my mixup / okizeme game

I just want the barrier buff removed. It kills many characters while doing nothing to others. This is plain stupid. Tsubaki, the way she is designed, obviously suffered the most from this buff. This universal mechanic is too unfair to stay

I was half joking, chill out. Hyde's pressure is good but his lack of mixup is highly disturbing. Obviously you need to be creative. No idea about Nanase, she doesn't look too strong. All I know is that our 623B beats her 623C (tested and approved) Anyway, I don't know how to play against Hilda. I just can't get in. I know all the tech there is to know against her but guarding for so long is just so frustrating. It feels like we must take huge risk when she can autopilot her dumb blockstring forever like a monkey. Fuck this dumb character, my worst matchup.

No you can't cancel anything during an assault. Black orbiter isn't a pressure tool, it's just to keep you safe after a blockstring. But it's minus on guard, so the opponent will either leave/take advantage.

Skye's combo is pretty good actually. I should learn it, 6B doesn't seem as reliable as i'd thought midscreen. In corner it's still one of the best starter tho. Not sure you can combo 2C after 5B at max range tho. It will probably whiff CMV : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHP8kDG89y8

I never said it was the best combo. I said he should try this route to train 3b link avec rekkas Also, 5B is never a starter to begin. 6B does everything better.
