    Read the notes on the side.... 214A.A delayed is +2 on guard. Hilda's 2A is 7f, but has much more range than hyde's

    Thanks for the vid, but I find it hard to be a proof that Hyde does well against Hilda. In the first vid, Hilda completely crushes Rion in the first two rounds, by making mistakes such as combo dropping and not punishing 236B.236B which is -10 on guard. She would have won easily if it were an normal match. In the second vid, let's be honest, this hilda is not so good. I've watched several matches against her from top jp players. While i might have exaggerated, I keep thinking this matchup SUX for Hyde. It's a contest of patience and I severely lack in this field :P

    No she won't get it by orbiters. First, you can't run behind orbiter A (where did you see that? this move has like 50 recovery frames, and you can't run cancel it). Second, if you do orbiter, she will jump + laser and hit you before you can recover, which will cancel the fireball obviously. His DP is useless against her, due to her long ass range normals. Her 2A is way better than ours (not hard), so she also wins in the mashing contest. This is probably one of the worst MU for Hyde. I played against all characters and this one was the most annoying of all. If i missed something huge against her, please feel free to fill me in.
  5. You can OTG up to one time only during a combo. If it's the second hard KD you are doing, they can delay safely and you won't be able to pick them up. But you might find a safe jump setup instead... If you didn't hard KD, you can otg and deal more damage. But unlike Blazblue, this will never reset into another combo

    Played against Hilda. Felt so powerless against her. This was both frustrating and a good lesson : Hyde is definitely a a shitty character when it comes to zoning and approaching. His fireball has so many recovery frames and a really terrible vertical hitbox. 22B is just no good, startup is like 30f or more. If the Hilda plays safe, full screen laser beam shit, you are pretty much doomed, unless she decides to take some risk and goes for attack. It's been a while I felt so annoyed in a match up. I'll probably sub a character that can deal with those kind of play. I don't see how Hyde can win this MU.

    I guess 2c/3c into 6b van have its use if delayed correctly. 3b is Aldo an option. Tbh i'm not too good yet with reverse beats. They kinda screw with my brain.

  13. Hyde's basic combos are super easy, but advanced ones aren't easy at all. I'd pick Gordeau. He looks easier and is way stronger.

    I'll do some more frame testing when I get some free time (probably around friday and this week end) Looks like i messed up some of them earlier (5A is -9 on guard and not -8)

    No it has not. I know a few people who mashes DP kinda randomly, and when i cross them up, what comes out is not a DP but a 214X / 421X(assuming the character has one). Tested against a gordeau at the very least. Rekka crosses up (I personnaly use 214B instead of A) after 5C / ic5C. This move is great to move forward. I tested some combo route last night. And I'm sure now that I have absolutely no idea how the combo mechanism works in this game. I can randomly had moves during combos, and sometimes they will connect, sometimes the combos will drop. It feels pretty strange. I like the 6B (2) > j.C > j.6C > dash > j.A/B/C > land combo route. It's full of awesomeness.

    Well yes. You need to guard depending on where the opponent is watching. When you cross up, your character doesn't turn around mid air, and thus you can guard normal or cross up. If the opponent turns around mid air (Orie's FF for example), you need to guard cross up. Hyde doesn't have any cross up.The rekka cross up gimmick will only work on people who don't know Hyde. I doubt it will work at higher level plays. But it's still a good tool to keep pressure. I believe hyde is + on guard if you hit very low with it. I'll need to mine some more data to be sure.

    It's not a cross up. There is no cross up in this game. They get hit because they want to punish hit.

    So here is some frame datas for you guys NB : Startup frames are from first frame to first active frame. Meaning the 10th frame of 5A is also the first active frame. Also, Hitstun includes the hitstop NBB : I'll mine some more to complete all special moves later. It's a tedious job lol NBBB : It would be nice to upload it on the wiki. cba to create and account there and stuff :P
  21. Melty blood was the same, almost all ground moves (except 5As) were air unblockable. But shield guard could block them. Looks like shield can't block them in Uniel
  22. They probably won't. Netcode is really good for japanese players (yay optic fiber everywhere), and they don't give a damn about us I guess. Still, the netcode is better than most of the other fighting games, so why are we complaining

  24. Third Page, 1st option, Last choice "dummy playback" You need to set it up in Page 4 tho. That's kinda stupid yes

    Did anyone try Hyde already? I can't seem to combo anything but 2A behind 214B*3, even after a very short combo like 5[C] > 236B > 236A > 66C > 214B*3 I'm delaying as much as I can but nothing will connect afterward (opponent can tech). I'm seeing japanese players doing 5B, or even 5C (O_O) after it
