this can explain it better than I can. Meaning the the dolphin is stronger and has better attributes in many ways. This is a bigger deal than people realize. The hoop dolphin change makes combo easier to do I think. and makes people have to respect your dolphin hoops more. Finally the OHK change was needed. Too many times you try to OHK and then ball comes out, very counter-intuitive. This new input is easier and make her harder to deal with, up close imo

Not sure about this combo but 6p ,stuff, 2hs into VHSD seems to hurt quite a bit. It seems that it is risky though. Am I wrong?

I have a pretty defense reactive may mostly because I mostly played Baiken back in the day along with May. You can win with good reads and getting people when they are moving or when they press a button. I will also say it seems many people can't react well to SHD or 5D when you mix it up you can make a lot of chances for air combos. I will also say May's anti air when you hit confirm hurts. So practicing controlling space is also a good place to start.

I am having trouble converting OHK dashing S into j.S. I know it should be easy but I can't get the timing it seems. Other than that when I do get it I drop the j.HS right after wards. Any advice?

People need to realize not everyone has FIOS or high speed broadband. I think people forget NA has some of the most horrid internet in the world compared to other countries like HK,Korea and Japan. Hell a lot of EU has better net.Therefore we see more people with lower quality internet. They sometimes play and cause issues. That is their right. There are some people that play using wifi(these people are pure evil). Then there are causals that play with torrents or other things going on. That also can cause issues. I for one think that the netcode is pretty damn good considering these factors. I also last night played someone with HK version and the are on the WC and I am pretty much MW. We both only had around 2-4 frames. I at this point can say that people who are having issues are having them for the reasons.Which I have stated above and not the netcode itself.

Sin is pretty stupid and if this is true then wow. Is it that bad? I know when I see chipp as a may player is is pretty annoying(until you hit him at least).

best May player is syo but he has little to no footage out there. Your next bet is efute,kazuki,kedako(one of my personal favs) and ruu. There are some others best Potemkin is FAB, best Zato is Ogawa, best Bedman is either Lox or Tsubu, best Ky is rozu(ain and rion also very good), best Sol is hard to say but roi,012,uki etc are great Best Faust is nage or gazou wtih OsakaB closeby. Then moving on the best Chipp is endou or sammito(imo) Best I-no is hasegawa or uzen, OSCA is also pretty good. Best Millia is woshige hands down( there are other great millia players, eki-chan for instance) best Slayer is Hase(again other great players out there), the best Venom was fino but he playing zato more often now so I would say isamu. Best Axl is yousuke and its not even close. There are lots of great Ram most visable of which are Gure, batako and karinchu. These are based on my opions but I think many will agree that these players are top tier for these character. Best is objective and an opion based on my thoughts and the fact that you can actually see them play more than a lot of other great players. Moving on there are also lots of great american players but Xrd just came out so hard to have great video of them.

Okay after trying for a while I have come to the conclusion that with my stick(injustice only replaces the JLF) It is very hard to move properly.I will also say the charge time for dolphin is always about 2 seconds or else it won't read it and only j.S/HS or 6S/HS will come out not sure if that is normal. So until I get a new stick any advice? I should mention I have the Dual shock and the Siaxis for pads and they both do not do the half and quarter circle movements in a way that allows me to to hit combos and are hard to micro dash(which is crucial it seems) with. The pad also refused to read my charges correctly(unless i am doing something wrong.)

Playing May more as a set play character is a bit hard to get used to. I won't drop her thought because I been loyal for far to long. I will say that the j.k(knees) is soo good. Anyway Day 1 is hard.

Sadly yes but i do really like the new 2HS and the hoops and the fact you can use Arival of the Dolphin into regular dolphin for extended combos

May is good in Xrd, Ogawa and woshige has her as B. Kiisha has her as A tier right behind ky. So if anything she is mid to high tier. She is still a power character just now she has more options and more ways to get in a keep pressure. Keeping pressure was a problem in +Rbut now with her added options she can keep pressure or use her new tools a deterants keeping people from rushing her down nearly as hard as they could in +R. Also finally about the damage I have seen May still do big damage to most of the people,especially in the corner. So I would not worry about the dizzy or damage because it is still there at high levels, just not +R levels.

You are right about the weight sorry about that. Also even though she is oki based i think it is a buff because she still has many of her old tools imo.

1.May has short range for the most part. May is heavy in older games not sure about xrd yet. 2.Hoop is what it looks like when you charge "applause, everyone" I think you can hold up to 3. I also know you can use this move if you press the S or HS version you can board the dolphin. 3. The ball is a move that is slow and moves in a parabola and bounces 3 time or until it hits the enemy. This move is good for spacing and anti-air set ups. It also can allow you to make an in so you can create pressure. 4.1 hit ensenga = knockdown, 2 hit bounces longer combo 5.OHK is very important and it is better than in previous version(the run up seems to be gone.) If anything I know a lot of top may players use it. It is just so much easier to use and combo off of. Finally May is a power character but you can use her set-up game to get in and show her power.
