main meter: goes until 200. Works pretty much like in melty blood. Ex consumes 100 of meter, "infinite worth"(arc drives) consumes 200. Like mb "heat", when you have more than 100 you can activate in veil off (the activation have a little of invencibility). The char in this state gains a red aura and the meter bar turns purple. It will slowly drains all the meter you have while recovering red life slowly if you are not in hitstun/blockstun. In veil off you have acess to "infinite worth" too. grd: by holding 5D, defending, running foward, attacking or using shield with sucess, the grd grows (running foward and shielding make it fills more than the others). By getting hit, using B+C attack or assault, it deplets. If you get throw out of shield or shielded in the wrong stae (use high shield against a low attack, for example), your will be in "grd break" state, where you can't gain grd for a time. Some chars have moves that steals grd (like gordeau "assimilation" command grab). Each time the clock in the center bottom makes a complete turn (20s i believe), the char that have more grd enter in grd vorpal (the char gains a blue aura). In it, the char receives a little bost in attack and defense (10%) + the abillity to chain shift (that ends the grd vorpal state). Chain shift create a super flash with invecibility, and you can imput a super move during this super flash. Or you can use it to cancel the animations of attacks, like a roman cancel. The chain shift will slowly convert grd meter to the main meter while you are not in hitstun/blockstun (the purple bar between grd and the main meter). So yeah....it's pretty good to be in grd vorpal. there's a "alpha counter/deadly angle attack", and a ultimate move that can be used as a desperation super or as a "astral", but the rules around them are more complex and i can't remember them exactly. -

http://sp.uniapm.info/diagram_view.php in the bottom, select カーマイン to see his matchups. Bad matchup against gordeau, walldestein and merkava, neutral matchups against batista and hilda. My guess is: those chars have reversals good enought to challenge carmine's oki. Some of those have reversals that change the momentum, even in trade. So he have to start bait things, it isn't so easy...if a player is dominating even against those chars, it's because of his skill, not the carmine. i gave a bad example. Should have said "softening throws" of sf2 ...even if you tech, you still receive half of the throw damage...and can't do anything about hold-type throws. The kind of wonky thing that wasn't used by any other game after, not even other sf games.

In the videos I said his nick was different, but it started with くれ and had a ( ̄∀ ̄) smille at the end. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm22580173 He changed his nick in the aime card site yesterday, i was lucky that he didn't change the comment (that appears in blue, above the life gauge) lol. http://sp.uniapm.info/member_profile_view.php?user_id=3889 He uses the command counter (one of the moves in that yuzuhira use her cape, i believe this one is 4b) in critical moments very well too. And looks like it activates when hitted by projectyles too (10:11) The videos with jin's hyde and the top vatista were really interesting for the fireball wars and spacing in it (like this one http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm22589972). The full rules of unib's new official tourney series have been formalized http://battlearena.jp/?p=914 And some interesting videos in nico. The last parts of the videos from Athena arcade (UNIEL】アテナ日本橋録画対戦会) have some footage of the n°4 in the ranking of yuzuhiras. He plays very carefully, specialy with teleports. And the new videos from sega high tech land arcade (【UNIE】12月31日天神ハイテクランド野試合) have lots of matches with n°1 hyde player "Jin" and the n°1 Vatista player. Keep in mind that the top 5 of almost every character change positions between themselves a lot, as the difference in points between them is very small... Sorry for the double post -
I noticed that the grab of the new character don't connect. But i'm loving her and this new version. She makes me remember donavan and zappa to some stent. No, it was not directed at you O_o, my intention was never to offend anyone. Rather, it was directed to this overgeneralization that isn't true for DELAYED ones (generaly designed to hit in this state). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWXmeysgNag&feature=youtu.be Sonic boom isn't a delayed one, sol's projectyle isn't a delayed one. But i was not correct because in gg it just works with normal throws (not command throws) and there are counter examples like donavan 624k>214k or ash crimson 214x. But i would never use sf2 mechanic as a base to anything related to modern fg. CpsI chains, the way trip guard works there (or don't work), it beeing impossible to throw opponentes that are in blockstun, etc

i'm pretty sure delayed projectyles in fgs normally can hit during the throw animation. Like when eddies shadow becomes a "landmine" (a delayed drill), testment traps, aoko 421x, f akiha 22x, etc.

And by chance, some dudes of Singapure's MB community were at the arcade during the event for some casuals of melty. They were really impressed by the atmosphere of the place, the number of people playing and the number of machines for uniel (7 pairs). it's true that by the data collected via aime card, chaos is the least played character of the cast (3.09%) http://sp.uniapm.info/usage_rate_view.php But i don't remember seeing the n°1 or 2 chaos player of the rank even once in videos. So i believe that a lot of arcade shops simply don't recording footage plays a big role in it. -

beeing based around heavy swings makes me think more about samurai shodown than anything else. Even parry is something originaly from samurai showdown 2, not 3s. But even if we think about fritz, akatsuki blitzkampf do have reflect. Not really odd.
