Yeah, Tsubaki's overhead is more telegraphed than Relius' claw. It's usually more, "Are you gonna reset pressure AGAIN?" than, "Damn, what's he gonna do?" -
Well, stop doing it instinctively. Do it actively. Every movement should have a reason behind it. Raw instinct is just autopilot neutral. There isn't some breakthrough. It's just that most good players are constantly thinking about every movement and every button they press and most bad players just shuffle back and forth pretending they're baiting stuff.

You bait them. If I know that the other guy wants to be at a certain range, I'll back off to make them want to get in range, then I'll dash in and hit a button as they're approaching me. You do something like jumping forward, then you double jump straight up to bait an anti air. You walk them to the corner, then anti air them as they try to escape. It all depends on what characters, the distance, space positioning, meter, overdrive, etc. There's no singular answer to what to do in a situation and the majority of neutral is guessing what the other player wants to do and bait and punish it.

To be fair, none of Noel's drives are fully invuln and she has no way of ending drives safely without RC. I know everyone pretends Bloom Trigger is safe, but it's not. 4D isn't air or foot invuln, so just IAD at her with any air normal or dash up 2B. She has to commit to a Fenrir for actual invulnerability and that's even more unsafe. Izayoi's super into teleport, though. That's annoying.

How much does generic 6D combo into Fenrir do? It's like 3.2k without Fenrir so that's pretty much the same thing, right? =[ I spent like two hours trying out paths for CT and I didn't find anything that was significantly better than 1.0 combos. I really hope there's some hidden tech I didn't find, 'cause her CT looks pretty cool." And I want to use it more.

I think it all works? She didn't really change much. The d.6B d.6C d.2D d.6B juggles being universal is the only change I've noticed. I think double Fenrir doesn't work now, but that's not a big deal. What are you having trouble with?

I totally bought Mahvel and the DLC when they pulled that from the store. I bet a lot of people are buying O Noel.

Yeah, I definitely agree with the walk forward 23 mentality. I remember it helped me a lot when I stopped playing 2D for a while and my execution got really sloppy. -
Is it just me or was BBCP's localization job rather sloppy?

Yeah, we would be fine with story mode, but the vast majority of the people who bought the game did it for the story. -
There's more leeway with how fast you buffer the dash after 22C. Think of it as 22C recovering a bit slower and the stun lasting a bit longer.

Kokonoe's Drive is now only usable in Unlimited mode.

Sounds like someone who didn't play this matchup in CT. Arakune is still hella annoying but he's not nearly as scary as some other characters.

You can do it, but you just keep losing damage and need twice the confirms to kill.

The number of times I've dropped AC 'cause of the health bars are in the double digits. I seriously can't tell how much life someone has left when I'm doing a combo 'cause I'm colorblind. Any colorblind people have any advice? I never know when to do a kill combo in this game 'cause I have to guess where their health is at. Losing because of the HUD is just so frustrating. Seriously, anyone have advice? -
It feels pretty silly. Animation is pretty choppy and the tutorial doesn't really explain how the game works. I played for an hour or so and still had no idea how the combat was supposed to work.

Holding down B when you're going for 2B helps a little.

A lot of characters (probably most) get more damage and utility from using meter to RC instead of super. Also, I'd rather use meter to RC an unsafe move than to add some extra damage. If I do a wakeup dp or something, having that 50 meter means that if I get blocked, I can RC and continue pressure like a true shithead. If I used that meter for 1k extra damage combo ender, I wouldn't have enough meter for an RC and I get punished for 5k.

I don't know if you guys do this, but I start off with OD against zoning characters. Makes me so mad, but it does help a lot with locking them down.
