metra then bus? If you take the metra to NC with Shin then during the next meet we can pick you up from the station, then you guys can stay the whole duration, and then I can take you guys back to the station after. My car isn't the roomiest for backseat passengers just as a heads up hehe

Well the meets are every Saturday at NC. The whole IL community usually goes there for AE, UMVC, etc. There is usually no dedicated BB setup, and for the DL BB players we usually aim for the end of the month. Like what the first post said, don't let that stop you from going out on all the other Saturday night meets to play some other games, or just to meet other people from the SRK/DL community. Feel free to let your friends know and bring them along. There are tons of monitors available, so afaik if you bring your own system you can just set up your own station. I'm forsure going to the one at the end of this month, and I'm still debating on this upcoming Saturday. I still haven't gotten a break since I came back so I might use that time to recover. If I can get a good deal on a 360 withing the next few days, then I'll probably go ahead and pick one up then too.

well I'm sure it was SenXXi, but it's been so long that I'm not even sure anymore. If not then I'll probably make a new one under KalafinaComplex just as a heads up =p I agree though, I am also very excited for getting a 360 again to play with some of the live crowd, but I'm even more excited for P4U to release already haha. Hopefully before then we can run into each other at casuals. Shin's been trying to get everyone out as best as he can, but everyones schedule's just seem to conflict naturally. He's done a lot just getting this group together on this thread, now its just a matter of everyone just actually meeting up lol. For our next NC meeting we can discuss who will bring what. Best bet is for one of us to bring a setup and then we can have a guaranteed spot to play. Otherwise it just ends up with BB players coming out, but no setup for BB available and thats no good =[

I always run a wired headset since I use it for my audio output as well as to not bother anyone late at night. I have a live account from when I used to run a 360 so you can go ahead and add me if you want to leave me a welcome back present lol

The only thing to say about this is, you live under THEIR house then you live under THEIR rules. They can do/say whatever they want. Don't like it, then move out.

I wasn't home for a while, and I haven't had a day off since I DID come back. I was spoiled by offline when I was away, but I'll be back on netplay once I recharge at the end of this week (o.o)b DID YOU MISS ME TOAN?!?!?

Ignite is my favorite venue. The environment is so nice and clean, but unfortunately I won't be making any Ignite Mondays or GGA Thursdays since I work every Mon and Thurs along with my rotating weekend for this coming semester :< and Shin, use Vergil if playing to win. I choose my characters off of looks and fun combos. I don't care if I win as long as the combos have swag.

There was a time when i had six sticks, but now I'm down to four. I just always have the wrong system, or I'm too lazy to bring one.

Also same goes to you, no rush on SJ6 since I know we'll get to it eventually. and xero, what I CAN tell you about me, is that I don't get salty and I don't rage (both on netplay and irl). I'm a pretty chill person but what I CANNOT tolerate is using a stick that is other than mine. I can seriously only use my own stick and I am unable to adapt. Shin saw this first hand at the last NC meet and I almost raged hahaha. Same thing happened when I was in LA and had to play with those stock HRAP3s. Luckily I wasn't playing for anything so it didn't affect me, but still I blame all my dropped combos on that stick. *shakes fist*

I play(ed) IaMP on pad. Everything else I play on stick. Don't worry about brushing up, like I said I don' actively play those games. And if it looks like I'm "tier whoring" (which shouldn't even matter) the characters I use(d) have always been who I started the game with. i.e. Viper and Seth I used since vanilla then dropped Seth when they changed the timing on his stomps since I didn't care enough to learn, Zero and Dante I used in vanilla, BB I started playing this March and I've always used Litchi. Yukiko I will use in P4U because she's Yukiko and I said so.

I am your IL BB/P4U co-hypeman. I said I was stepping up before Cali, but after my trip there and experiencing first hand at how close their scene is, I really want to push for our own growth. I'm well aware that IL won't ever reach SoCal levels, but we can still stick together and grow with what we have. Also sorry I've been kind of slacking with the whole SJ6 plans. I'm still down, but things were kind of hectic with AX all last week and I've been stuck at work everyday since I got back last Tuesday and I'm not off til next Tuesday hahahah. Once I get a few days to recharge I'll get back to solidifying and finalizing the trip *salutes* '=]

I used to play every FG, but once I picked up BBEX I dropped everything for it. So I only play BB, soon P4U will be added to the list, and I played UMVC3 til Feb so I'm behind with the tech. I have a busy schedule hence the reason for dropping everything else. If you really care to know the characters I used for previous games: IaMP: Yukari, Patchouli, Alice 3S: Urien AE: Viper, Seth UMVC3: Zero, Vergil, Dante BB: Litchi, Lambda P4U: Yukiko Like I previously mentioned I don't actively play any of those other games, and I rarely play BB now too, but if you don't mind me scrubbing out some matches then I'm down to play

I swear I mentioned something like this before on this thread when summer first started as a way to resurrect this thread, but no one replied and it kind of just fell off. Again if you have any other questions just send me a PM

On my weekends off I'm usually off the Friday before. I work overnights so I usually wake up around in the afternoon. If you want you can head over Fri afternoon then we can use that as a day to get situated and do whatever, sat casuals, sun back home. I have multiple guestrooms with their own bathrooms so you have nothing to worry about.

From Union the line you would take is the BNSF line to Route59. Either or, I can get you from Union or RT 59 just as long as you give me a heads up on when you are coming. From my house we can just drive to wherever the casuals are which usually are at NC. I try to drive Shin when I can but it all depends on what I'm already doing or where I am

what was the route you were willing to take? if you are able to make it to Union Station in downtown Chicago then I can scoop you up from there. From Union you can also take another train that brings you closer to my area and I can pick you up from that station. Either way just let me know, and feel free to PM me if you have any other questions
